The Way We Were
aihjah
- Story Summary:
- Werewolves are also people. From a year before the death of the Potters to a few years before his teaching post at Hogwarts, we follow Lupin through his lycanthropic acquaintances--wretched, stunning, hypocritical, slightly mad, fiercely radical and simply, undeniably human.
Chapter 01 - ONE
11/28/2005Werewolves are also people, and I suppose that is where this story comes from. From a year before the death of the Potters to a few years before his teaching post at Hogwarts, we follow Lupin through his lycanthropic aquaintances; wretched, stunning, hypocritical, slightly mad, fiercely radical and simply, undeniably human.
Chapter 02 - TWO
12/02/2005Opening with an excerpt from the not yet, but undoubtedly soon to be best-selling academical masterpiece 'A Case for the Werewolf', this chapter delves deeper into the werewolf community, and the lycanthropic mind, introducing a boy with a thorn in his side (see the Smiths) and the rituals a full moon entails. (One will also discover that there is, by Merlin, a softer side to even these brutes. It is hard to believe that a community so eager to take in to Ms. Warbeck's soft voice can be all bad.) Warning: slash implied. Readers suffering from homophobia are discouraged from reading.
Chapter 03 - THREE
01/23/2006In the concluding chapter of this fic we witness Augustus Chafer on his deathbed, and in consequence of this, there is consumed rather more than the prescribed dose of nicotine. What will happen to that Vessel of Werewolves, the renouned pub The Shrieking Shack? Will Mark reveal his feelings for Lupin? What took Fenrir Greyback so long and why is he suddenly appearing now? Read and find out!
