~*~ Chapter 4~*~
"Come on Daddy! I wanna go see Uncle Harry! Hurry up!"
Ron Weasley looked up at his 5 year old daughter only to see her give him what he affectionately calls ‘the lip'.
"Okay, okay, okay. I'm coming. Remind me to teach you a little patience when we get home."
"Okay. Let's go!"
She smiled vibrantly up at her dad and Ron smiled back, in awe of how much she really looks like her mother. Sure, she inherited the Weasly hair, but her face is almost identical to Hermione's. His mind flashed back to the day Hermione was killed by Malfoy, of all people. She was walking home from work one day and Malfoy pops out of no where and casts the Avada Kedavra spell on her. She didn't even have the time to react.
"Now Haley, I have to tell you something. Uncle Harry doesn't remember anything. He doesn't know a lot of magic. Ginny is trying to teach him some simple magic tricks. If you listen closely, you might pick up some spells. But be careful, don't tell him anything about your mom. I'm going to tell him later."
"Okay Daddy. What spells will I learn?"
Ron laughed as he opened the door. "You're just like your mother, you know that?"
~*~
"Harry, are you ready yet? Ron should be here any second."
"Almost. I can't find matching socks."
"Look in the top dresser drawer."
"Thanks."
Ginny was starting to get anxious about Harry meeting Ron and Haley. Sure, it wouldn't be the first time, but he didn't know that. It was the first time for him. It still hurt for Ginny to think about it.
"How do I look?"
Ginny turned around to see Harry dressed in faded jeans, a white collard shirt with a green sweater over it. The outfit was truly stunning on him.
"You look great."
She gave him a hug; he was taken by surprise, but hugged her back.
She smiled and said, "I love you."
He looked down and smiled. Ginny was hurt that he didn't say it back. He hadn't fallen back in love with her. What if he never did? This hurt Ginny so much, but she held it in. She pulled away from him as the door bell rang.
"That should be them." Ginny walked to the door and opened it revealing a tall man and a little girl about five, both with the same flaming red hair.
Harry trust out his hand and said, "Hello, nice to meet you." Ron smiled and shook his hand. "This," he said motioning to the little girl, "is Haley. My daughter"
She smiled and said, "Hi, can you teach me some magic?"
Ron and Ginny exchanged glances and inwardly groaned. Ron looked down at her. She was smiling up at Harry.
Harry laughed, bent down and said, "I don't think I can help you there, but I bet you can teach me some magic."
"Really? Cool!"
Ginny took this as her cue to go get the tea. "Ron, could you help me with the tea?"
Ron got the hint and replied, "Sure Gin, I'm coming."
She turned and looked at him as they entered the kitchen. "How do you think its going?"
"I think Haley loves him! She loves teaching and learning, just like her mother."
"Yeah, she's exactly like her mother. It's pretty scary sometimes, the way she always has her head in a book ."
"Not all the time! She's great at Quidditch. She's a future Gryffindor Beater."
Ginny laughed, "You think she could give Fred and George a challenge?"
"Maybe not these days, but she could definitely give Arthur and Kerry and run for their money. How are they anyway. They still like the old dad, George?"
"I bet their rethinking having a dad that can't be serious!"
Ron laughed and asked, "How are you doing Ginny? I haven't talked to you in a while."
Ginny sat down as the teapot poured its contents into the cups. "It's hard, but I'm getting through it. I'm just glad the morning sickness is gone."
"Yeah, I remember when Hermione had it. It was awful, but it had a great result."
"Yeah. I don't know what it's going to be yet, but I think it's a boy."
"What makes you think that?"
"I'm not sure, I just think it is."
"Okay. Well, let's get the tea to Harry and Haley."
Ginny smiled to herself as They entered the living room, revealing Haley bent over a book and Harry practicing some spell Haley taught him.
