A Lost Love

~*~ Chapter 3 ~*~

What happened? OW! Note to self: Don't touch head. Where am I? What is this place?

Harry painfully sat up and looked around. There certainly was quite a lot of white in this room. He looked over to the left side of the room and saw someone standing at the window looking out. Suddenly, the person turned around and Harry remembered everything that had happened.

"Ginny? Where am I?"

"Harry! Oh thank God your OK! You're in St. Mungos. Voldemort tried to kill you a month ago and your slipped into a coma. When the doctors' spells and potions didn't work, we thought there was no hope. I knew you would make it, I just knew it!"

"Uh, Ginny, what's a coma? And potions and spells, what are they?"

"Oh no."

"What oh no? What's going on?"

"Harry, this is a very confusing story, so let me start from the beginning without you commenting. OK?

"OK."

Ginny took a deep breath and began to tell the nightmare that had been playing in her mind for the last month. "A month ago your arch rival Lord Voldemort kidnapped you. I woke up one morning and you were just gone, just like that. I was so scared. I called Ron, my brother and told him that you were gone. He came over and we started a search party. We contacted Dumbledor and he informed the Order of the Pheonix. Before long, everyone knew you were missing. Only no one knew for sure where you were. One night, a man came up to me on the streets. I was so scared, I didn't know what to do. He put a curse on me and I immediatly went to sleep. When I woke up, I was in Lord Voldemorts lair."

Ginny looked at Harry and saw that his face was riddled with confusion. Her heart sank, but she continued. "Peter came up to me the second I awoke and told me to stay where I was. He then ran to Lord Voldemort to tell him I was awake. I was bound and gagged, so I couldn't move, but when Pettigrew came back, he unbound me. He left me with some other, stronger Death Eaters and they led me to the chamber you were in. When I saw you, I was so happy you were alive. But you didn't remember me. Apparently, Lucius Malfoy wiped out your entire memory. Voldemort watched our reunion like it was some sick afternoon special. He then tried to kill you Harry. I don't know what happened. I have thought about it and asked about all of St. Mungos doctors and they don't know what happened. Apparently, the curse he had intended for you bounced back and hit him. He died. You killed Voldemort."

Harry looked up from staring at his hands. "Is that the end?"

"Yes. Well, almost. You passed out from the impact and have been in here ever since."

"Wow. Ginny, am I a magician?"

"Oh Harry, please don't use that stupid Muggle word for it. Use the proper word. Heyy, you're a wizard. And I'm a witch."

"What's a Muggle?"

"A Muggle is a non-magical person."

"You mean some people aren't wizards and witches?"

"That's right. Only the exceptionally gifted ones are."

"Ginny. I' have another question for you."

"What is it Harry?"

"Are you pregnant with my child?"

Ginny looked down at her hands and smiled. "Yes, Harry, I am. You're going to be a Daddy."
