Chapter 2: And They Meet

Lily pulled into the driveway of the Black's huge summer home. She got out of the car and saw two teenage boys running over to them.

"That's Sirius and his friend James," Jenn said as she got out too.

One of them looked very much like Jenn with the same dark hair and ice blue eyes sparkling with mischief. He was tall, tan and muscular and was unmistakably charming. He was Jenn's older brother Sirius. The other boy looked slightly like Sirius but his raven hair was adorably messy and he had brown eyes frames in silver glasses. He was very handsome.

"Jenn why didn't you tell me James was so cute! I look like a mess, my hair is all wind blown," Lily muttered to Jenn.

"Lily, you always look beautiful and James is like a brother to me."

"Jenni," Sirius called. He ran up and hugged Jenn. James came up behind him.

"Siri," Jenn yelled back.

"And you haven't seen each other for what? 3 weeks?" Lily asked dryly.

"They're always like this. You should have seen the time when Jenn came back from Hogwarts during Christmas!" James said to Lily. "Hi, I'm James, Sirius' friend though at times I wonder why," James introduced himself.

"I'm Lily, Jenn's friend, and I agree with you,"ld out her hand for James to shake but instead he kissed it.

"My pleasure to meet you," he said.

"Lileeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Long time no see." Sirius decided to stop fighting with Jenn about how tight her shirt was and hug Lily.

"Well Sirius, I see you haven't changed one bit," Lily laughed.

"Why thank you!" said Sirius grinning cheekily.

"And If it isn't lil' Haley! How I missed my ray of sunshine!" Haley always had a huge crush on Sirius and he seemed very fond of her.

"And if it isn't my personal clown." Haley jumped into Sirius' arms and he twirled her around.

"What's a colwn?" Sirius asked confusedly.

"Muggle thing," Lily and Haley said together. They were the only muggle born witches of the group, the rest were purebloods.

"Well, aren't we all cheerful today? Do I not get hugs?" Remus seemed to have just woken up as his hair was messy and he was rubbing his eyes.

"REMMIIIIII!" The three girls ran up to him and jumped on him, creating a dog pile with Remus on the bottom.

"Do I even know you?" Remus' muffled voice came from the bottom of the pile. The girls got off the poor boy they had just attacked.

"Well, no, but your all Jenn ever talks about. It's Remmi this and Remmi that! I'm Lily, Jenn's friend and this is Haley. We all live together in New York," Lily said. Both Remus and Jenn were blushing red.

"Well, I think we should go inside. I'm sure mom and dad want to say hello to their favorite child," Sirius said.

"I'm only their favorite 'cause you scare them," Jenn mumbled to Lily. Lily started laughing and had to lean on James who was next to her for support.

"Oh my, do you have the Random-Laughing-Fit disease? You must have caught it from Sirius. The poor kid has an incurable case of it," James said once she calmed down. They all walked into the Living Room of the large house and saw Mr. and Mrs. Black sitting on the couch.

"Mom! Daddy! I'm here!" Jenn yelled as they entered the room.

"Jennifer! So great to see you. You two Lily and Haley." Mrs. Black hugged the three girls in a motherly fashion.

"Its so sweet of you to have us, we really appreciate it," Haley told her.

"Why don't you three go up to your rooms and get settled," Mr. Black suggested.

"Oh yes dears. Jenn you have your usual room. Haley yours is next to Jenn's and across from the guys room. Lily yours is across from Jenn's and next to the guys room," Mrs. Black told the girls.

"How come they all get their own rooms and we have to be squished in one small room?" They could here Sirius complain as they went up the stairs and into said rooms.

Jenn always had loved this room. It had an ocean theme with tranquil blue walls and a blue and green ocean blanket. It was a canopy. The rug was sea-foam green. There was a balcony over looking the huge pool and beautiful garden.

Haley looked around her room. It was very cute. It had pale purple walls. The blanket was purple with ducks on it. It was a king size bed and was very bouncy. The rug was a dark purple. It had a balcony too that over looked the pool and garden and it was attached to Jenn's.

Lily walked into her rooms and looked around. The room was beautiful. The walls were hot pink with sparkles. The bed was big and had a hot orange blanket and tons of throw pillows. The rug was the same hot orange. There was a balcony that faced the sea. Lily put her clothes in the closet and flopped bed.

"This is going to be the best summer ever!" Lily sighed.

After the girls were done admiring their rooms they decided to go down to the pool and sun tan for a while. They all changed into their bathing suits and went down to the large in ground pool complete with hot tub and fake waterfall. Lily was wearing an emerald green sparkly string bikini. Haley was wearing the same thing but pink. Jenn was wearing the same thing but purple.

They all got a large glass of lemonade and lay on lawn chairs around the pool. An hour later Jenn and Haley decided they wanted to go in the hot tub.

"Wanna come Lil'?" Jenn asked.

"No its harder for a red head to tan, I need all the sun I can get." Lily half joked.

"Ok, join us when you want." Haley and Jenn went over to the hot tub to find the three boys were in there.

"Where's Lily?" James asked as the two girls got into the hot tub. Jenn say next to Remus and Haley sat next to her, with Sirius on her left. James was next to Sirius.

"She's tanning by the pool," Jenn informed him. James got an evil glint in his eyes.

"Oh no, James where are you going?" Jenn asked, knowing that look. But James didn't answer.

"5,4,3,2,1" Jenn and Haley counted.

"JAMES HAROLD POTTER! Put me down!" Lily screamed. Then they heard a splash.

The four remaining people in the hot tub burst out laughing. But ran to see what happened

a*n: this goes back to when James got up but its with James and Lily.

James got out of the hot tub and silently crept up to where Lily was laying on her back by the pool. He ran and scooped her up in his arms.

"James HAROLD POTTER! Put me down!" Lily screamed. James didn't listen; he threw her into the pool.

Lily was not really mad, but she needed to get him back. Instead of coming up out of the water, Lily did the dead mans float. She could hold her breath for long enough for him to get a little frightened.

James watched as Lily came up. But instead of putting her head up and screaming at him. She floated to the top.

"Lily!" James screamed and jumped into the pool. He brought her out and laid her on the grass. Lily didn't stir or breathe. James leaned over to him and his face got closer.

'He's going to do CPR!" Lily thought. He put her mouth over hers. 'This feels wrong, it feels like...Oh My God he's kissing me!' Lily coughed weakly pretending she really did drown.

"Lily?" Jenn's voice came. "Are you alright? You really scared me."

Lily just looked at James. "It was James' fault." Lily glared at him.

"His fault? Lily he saved you!" Haley said shocked.

"Only because he was stupid enough to throw me in!" But as the others turned to return to the hot tub, Lily winked at James.

They all returned to the hot tub, everyone sitting where they were before. Lily had to sit next to James because there were no other seats. Not that she minded.

"So, Lily what are you going to do, now that your out of Hogwarts?" James asked.

"I want to write for Teen Witch the magazine. I think I'm going to do interviews with stars and stuff like that. What about you?"

"I just finished my Auror training and start work as a Junior Auror in September," James answered.

"What about you guys?" Jenn asked the other guys.

"I want to open a joke shop. But mum won't let me. She wants me to work in the Ministry. I plan on working for the Magical Games and Sports department," Sirius answered.

"I-um- I'm not sure what I want to do," Remus lied. It was hard for him to find work because of the fact that he was a werewolf. "What do you want to do Jenn?"

"I want to work for Teen Witch too, but I want to do the advice column. That's why we moved to New York. The headquarters is right there and we all got an intern."

"I want to take pictures, you know work with Lily and take pictures of the stars she interviews," Haley explained.

"It's getting dark. Shouldn't dinner be ready?" Sirius asked.

"Is all you ever think about is food?" Jenn joked but they all got out and went into the house.
