"Hermione! Hermione!" Harry came racing down the corridor. "We're having a re-match!" He lifted Hermione up and hugged her.

"Oh my god, Harry, that's great!" Hermione was wondering what Harry would do for revenge. Hopefully train harder.

"Anyway you want to come to practise today?" Hermione nodded. She loved practise.

She continued up to the girl's dormitory. Parvati was there.

"Hey, Hermione, what's up?" Hermione told her about inviting her to practise.

"Oh, you're so lucky, I like Draco but, Harry, and well, he's different." Parvati stared down at her Calvin Klein shoes.

Yeah I guess I am lucky." She gazed at the lake reminding her to go after practise.

Ron and Harry raced around the field. They were guaranteed a place in England's team. Ron as a Keeper and Harry, a seeker were both so graceful.

Moving at just the right time, perfecting the right moves. It was a sky ballet.

"How was that Hermione?" Ron queried. Hermione stared at Ron. He was as different to Draco as fire is to ice.

Instead of icy, steel blue eyes, his were rich, chocolate brown. Instead of silky blond hair there was scraggly red hair, but she still loved Ron.

As a friend.

After practise, Harry ran over to Hermione. (Again) "Come on, let's go back to the castle." The sun was setting.

"Um...No, I think I'll go for a walk...by myself," she added.

The giant squid was waving its tentacles in the early evening dusk and darting after schools of fish. Draco looked around the edge of the lake. The grounds seemed magical in the evening light (But Draco reminded himself they probably were.)

He sighed; Hermione was the only thing in life that mattered to him any more. It wasn't like he had much of a family with Lucius dead and Narcissa driven crazy by depression. Some people were so lucky with their perfect families and perfect lives.

Coming towards him was Hermione. Draco had memorised every feature of her, her nose, lips, eyes, the way the sun danced on her mahogany hair and the way she walked so gracefully. Her robes flew around her in a sea of black.

"Hi."

Hi? HI? He was head over heels in love with her and all she could say was 'HI?' "Calm down." What was she supposed to say? "Kiss me, Draco?" I wish.

"Hi."

"It's a lovely evening for a walk," Hermione said, not looking at him.

"Yeah. Lovely."

"Draco, Why did you kick Harry in the nuts?" Hermione questioned.

"Well, it's a long story, it's just kinda something he said."

Draco was lost in those eyes, those beautiful eyes.

"Draco...I love you." She moved in on him and kissed him passionately. Her body perfectly fitted into his. He wrapped his arms tenderly around her neck. Everything just felt so right. He was in total, utter bliss; no girl had ever done this to him before. This is what he had being waiting for since that time when they were alone in that secret room a year ago.

They fell over on the grass kissing and running their hands all over each other while rolling down a grassy hill. They came to a stop next to the water.

"I love you, too."

This is me(valar_chic) here. Sorry about the wait and my short chapters. (silly friends complaining about them) I absolutely cross my heart that the chapters will get longer. I really just want to finish my fic so I can get on to the prequel one. I have already planned it and it is a bit of Draco/Blaise Harry/Hermione and of course it wouldn't be one of my fics without some Draco/Hermione. This is not the last chapter of Forever and a day though.
