A slight shift in events in the form of Aurors showing up sooner during the the Black/Pettigrew confrontation, resulting in Black being arrested without Pettigrew's 'death' and his continued ability to spy on the Order, leads to major changes in the Death Eaters' plans, and in Harry's life.
