The Marauders' Sons

The Boy Who Lived has just survived the Department of Mysteries and is once again in Privet Drive. This will not be a very long trip, because Dumbledore has something up his sleeve for Harry and his friends. They meet an American their age who has been recruited behind Harry's back to fufill the role that his father played before him, only neither knows the whole truth.

Ch.2- Tom learns more about the nature of what his assignment is, gets some new toys courtesy of himself and Remus, and Dumbledore lets him in on a secret. Tom also gets to know Hermione better and Harry notices.

Ch.3-Tom and the Trio head to the Burrow for Harry's first birthday party, and Ron has a surprise in strore for Harry. Later, Tom and Hermione have some quality time that is interrupted.

Ch.4- Harry's birthday has come and he finally gets to have his first party. He takes the opportunity to do some wheeling and dealing, while Tom does some with Dumbledore. Later, Tom and Harry have a Steel Cage Match! (kidding, but they are locked into Dumbledore's office, and tempers flare)

Ch.5- Tom and Harry are patrolling the Hogwarts Express, and they happen to overhear a very intersesting conversation between certain people before duty calls.

Ch. 6- Meeting time! Draco meets with Snape, Tom meets with Harry, Harry meets with Luna, and then Tom meets with Draco.

The renamed and reformed DA has its first meeting, and Tom finishes putting together his little pet project.

Ch.8- The first meeting of the DA concludes. Later, Harry recieves an owl from an old "friend," and we learn a tiny bit more about Tom's past (though not much!).

Oh, and by the way, "that night in April," the fate of Tom's mother, and the identity of the Flanagans are all revealed.

Also, Harry has some trouble writing his speach for the Order of Merlin ceremony, but gets some inspiration on the way to Dumbledore's office.
