~Chapter 3~
Harry lay on his bed, looking around his private room that he was given because he was Head Boy. He missed being able to interact with everyone. The only advantage was that his room was right next to Hermione's, and he knew he would like to be visiting her after dark.
He went out to the Common Room and sat down in one of the big comfy chairs, watching Ron and Dean play Wizard's Chess.
"Hey, you cheated! You can't do that!" yelled Ron.
"Ron, I don't think yelling will solve anything! Your knight is already in pieces!" yelled Dean.
Without warning, Harry felt a pain in his scar. Not wanting to attract too much attention to himself, he walked to Hermione's room, knowing she would know what to do.
"Hey, Harry. Why are you clutching your forehead?" she asked.
"My scar just is hurting," explained Harry, "I think there is a great danger around here!"
Hermione's face turned pale and she quickly shut her door.
"Harry, were you facing anything? The door, a window, a painting...?"
"Actually, I was watching Dean and Ron play chess--it quite funny actually--but yeah, I think I was facing a window, why?"
"Well, Harry, You- Know-Who may have been wandering around! Let's go down to Professor Dumbledore. He will know what to do!"
So Harry and Hermione excused themselves from the Common Room and quickly walked to Dumbledore's corridors.
They found the door, guarded by a painting, when they realized they didn't know the password.
"Harry, what do we do? We're the Head Boy and Girl, and we look like idiots, waiting for Dumbledore to find us!" said Hermione.
A dark shadow lurked through the halls as the friends stood in front of Dumbledore's room. Harry turned and looked at portrait that illustrated many children playing in a pasture. Nothing gave a clue to what the password was, and the guardian portrait was growing impatient.
"If you wish to see the professor, give me the password please!" the portrait growled.
"But sir, it is about You-Know-Who!" Hermione said, "And besides, I am Head Girl of the Gryffindor House. I have a right to see my headmaster whenever I wish to."
Harry chuckled to himself. Full of wit, Hermione was, and she was never too humble to show it. Hermione was prettier... but love was based on more then looks, right?
Harry remembered, when he was only eleven, that he was the one who realized Hermione was in danger, and went off to rescue her, when the troll attacked her. There must have always been a spark between them, but Harry was too involved in Cho to let himself realize.
In the midst of his thoughts, a pain jolted Harry in his forehead. He turned and saw the same portrait, but the children were fleeing the pasture. An adult, who remained hooded, was standing in the middle of the vast field. Harry's scar was searing.
"Her-Hermione, my scar..." Harry cried out in pain, and Hermione turned and saw the figure Disapparate out of the portrait and into the hallway. The guardian portrait figure cried, "Oh, dear," and let Harry and Hermione into Dumbledore's room quickly.
"Harry! Hermione! What the dickens are you doing in here? Students should not know my password," Dumbledore said sternly.
"Sir, Voldemort is in the hall!" Harry shouted, and Hermione winced at the name.
"What...!" Dumbledore stormed out of the room, just as the hooded figure (Voldemort, obviously) said a curse and waved his wand. Dumbledore fell to the floor, momentarily electrocuted, and Voldemort laughed.
"Harry Potter... I've been waiting... Look at me... I must hide behind a cloak... No one can look at my face and not laugh hysterically..." Voldemort hissed before he Disapparated into another city.
Hermione sighed with relief, muttered a few words, and Dumbledore shut up into the air, panting.
"You're alright!" Hermione sighed knowingly.
"It seems that Voldemort"--another shudder from Hermione--"is roaming the school halls unannounced. Let the games begin."
(LET'S REWIND A LITTLE...)
Pansy Parkinson turned, her robes swishing behind her.
"Draco," she whispered, "Where the hell are you?"
"Here," Draco hissed, "Lumos." Draco dragged his wand across Pansy's face. It settled on her bottom lip. Pansy teased Draco by dragging her tongue across the tip of her teeth.
"Okay, Draco. Enough games," Pansy threw herself at Draco, and led him into a steamy make-out session. She let Draco peel her robe off, and revealed a gorgeous silk gown.
Draco took his robe off. He was wearing a silk, button down shirt and Prada pants. Pansy's fingers felt like paperweights as she ended the kiss. She grabbed his collar and ripped his shirt open. The buttons popped off.
"What the...?" Draco almost screamed.
"I always liked a little chest hair," Pansy whispered hoarsely, "Now kiss me, hot stuff."
Draco was much obliged to. All of a sudden, a voice filled the hall.
"Young students... out of bed..."
"Who are you?" Draco asked, trying to sound courageous in front of his girlfriend, who was frantically buttoning up her robe.
"Slytherins, I see... I won't tell... They wouldn't listen anyway..."
Draco felt an icy cold hand being placed on his shoulder. He turned and saw Voldemort, robed, standing before him.
"So this is it," thought Draco, "This is when I meet my master."
Pansy gulped. She was thinking the same thing as Draco.
"Malfoy, is this girl Slytherin?" Voldemort asked.
"Yes, master," Draco grew silent.
"So continue your actions... I could use more followers..." Voldemort ordered lazily, and Pansy blushed a deep scarlet.
"But, Master, that seems a bit disrespectful to you," Draco added, seeing his girlfriend's embarrassment.
"That was an order, Malfoy," Voldemort's red eyes glowed.
"Alright! Pansy, shall we...?" Draco asked, and he went to girlfriend's side and began to kiss her. Voldemort turned, and was sure he could hear buttons popping.
A scream passed from Pansy's mouth. Voldemort turned, and saw she had stepped on a small stone.
"Darn! Why do these things always happen to me?" Voldemort moaned before Disapparating into a portrait.
"Dumbledore will never find me here!" he thought wickedly, as a new aspect of domination crossed his mind.
Pansy pulled away from Draco. "Where did he go?" she asked, and Draco shrugged.
"We better go, love," Draco said, "Peeves will find us."
"I know," sighed Pansy, "It's better if we meet in the Common Room from now on."
The couple walked back to their Common Room, not knowing the havoc Voldemort was leaving in their school.
"Where were you?" Snape hissed, "I heard that my favorite student was out of bed, but I didn't know his plans included a young woman. Five points will be taken for your midnight wanderings."
"Oh, come on!" Draco whined, "It's not like you didn't snog when you were our age!"
