A Sirius Encounter

Juliet woke up one Sunday morning in her dorm room at Hogwarts, wondering why her mattress felt as though it had honey poured all over it. Juliet was a sixth year Gryffindor girl, and found herself waking up in the middle of the night very often due to pranks played by the Marauders. Tonight, it happened to be honey super-sticky honey oozing though the crevices of her bed. She rose, finding herself covered in the stuff, and turned the light on (to the many protests of her roommates).

'What the hell happened?' mumbled Tiffany, as she awoke from her soporific state.

'Sirius Black happened!' replied Juliet, walking over to the door.

'Oh no! Where do you think you're going?' asked Lily Evans, walking over to Juliet trying to talk some common sense into her.

'I'm going to kill him, that's where I'm going!'

'But what will revenge achieve?' sighed Lily, stifling back a yawn.

'Pleasure on my part, not on his!' she answered, turning the doorknob and exiting.

Something similar to this happened at least once a week: one of the three girls would get pranked. It was usually Juliet, and then they would seek revenge. However, tonight was different; Juliet was going for a different type of revenge.

Juliet made her way to the prefect bathroom, having coaxed the password out of Lily a few months ago, and headed in for a nice comforting bath before undertaking planning. She already knew what she was going to do. She just had to make sure it worked perfectly.

After all the rose-scented bubbles had melted away, she left, having concocted the perfect plan. She headed back to her dorm room quickly, to grab some supplies without waking her friends, and tiptoed her way up to the boys' dorms. She crept past the squeaky floorboard, knowing from past experience exactly where it was, and headed straight in like a silent mouse.

Once inside, she bent down on her knees and crawled; knowing that Sirius' bed had some kind of goo beside it, from a potion accident in third year. When she found it, she slipped off the robe she had borrowed from Tiffany and climbed in, just biding her time until morning. This was going to be better than she had expected.

When morning came and the sun shone through the window, she heard the bedroom stir. James was first clambering around at his bedside table for his glasses. Remus was second, pushing his feet out of the bed to turn toward James and have one of their usual early morning conversations. Peter was soon awoken by their talking and joined in. Then all eyes were left watching Sirius' bed for some kind of movement, but it didn't come from whom they expected.

Sirius stirred and Juliet sat up, the sheet she was holding barely covered the top half of her body.

'Hey! Hi!' she said, shaking Sirius' shoulder as to arouse him a little more quickly.

'What? What? What the hell are you doing in my bed?' he questioned, looking up at her. 'And are you wearing any clothes?'

Juliet blushed, knowing that her plan was proceeding along perfectly.

'You don't remember?' she whispered, her voice trembling a little.

'Remember what?' he stated, just as shocked as the three other faces staring at him.

'I can't believe you, Sirius Black!' she said, her anger rising. 'I understand that you drank a lot of Firewhiskey last night, but really! I didn't think you could forget something... something like that!' She turned away from him.

'Like what?' he asked, still shocked.

'I shouldn't have to answer that in front of these people!' Juliet feigning fury, tore all the sheets off his bed and rose, watching him tumble to the floor completely nude. 'I can't believe you! You spend all night with me, tell me that you love me... and then you suddenly have amnesia!' she screamed, dashing from the room in tears.

'Good God! I didn't. Did I?' he asked the three startled faces glancing toward him.

'I don't know mate. You did drink a whole lot of Firewhiskey!' replied James, finding his voice at last.

The day just happened to get worse for Sirius Black: not only did he not remember having sex with Juliet but he did not remember anything about the previous evening. Nor did his friends, which was a real problem. And it wasn't until he headed back into the common room after breakfast, that he realised just how bad this day was going to be.

The seventh year girls were all sitting in a huddle around Juliet, consoling her as best they could. You see... Juliet was an extremely convincing actress, having studied during her summer break when she went home to be with her Muggle parents.

'It's okay,' began Tiffany, patting her friend gently on the back, 'it's not your fault... it's just like him to take advantage of a woman!' she added, raising her voice when she saw he had entered through the portrait hole.

'Yeah, forget about it!' added Lily, lifting her friend's chin and glancing into her eyes caringly. 'I'm sure he wasn't that good!' she added, giving Sirius the fiercest of glares.

'I'm sure you're right,' said Juliet, wiping away the tears from under her right eye, and then looking down solemnly. 'He really wasn't that good.'

This little pow-wow angered Sirius. He knew that Juliet had every right to be mad at him. But to question his sexual prowess was completely uncalled for, and perhaps a little bit low. And he knew that if this trio kept going on the way they were, spreading rumours about his virility, he wouldn't be able to get a date with anyone at Hogwarts.

'Right, Juliet, come here!' he said, his temper rising a little bit at this whole awkward situation.

'What do you want?' Juliet asked, striding over to him in a casual yet seductive manner.

'Well...um...' he began, finding himself preoccupied by something else that was bothering him. 'Are you sure that's a top?'

'Yes. It's a top, Black,' confirmed Juliet, peering down at the white near translucent long sleeved shirt she had on. 'Is there anything else?' she questioned harshly.

'No. Nothing,' he added, still peering at her chest rather than her face.

'I think you've seen enough of them for the time being,' added Juliet, crossing her arms and turning away from him. She returned back to the conversation with the girls, which Lily had turned into some game called 'Fantasy Island' which there is no need to go into detail of yet.

Sirius decided this was an ideal time to do something that would not remind him of Juliet naked. So he went up stairs and played multiple games of Exploding Snap by himself. That was until James joined in.

'Where are Wormtail and Mooney?' he asked gravely.

'The library. They said something about a Potions assignment that's due tomorrow. I wasn't really listening,' he added, watching his friend blow up cards feebly.

'I did it. I definitely did it!' he stated, knowing that James was curious.

'How do you know?' he began. 'I thought you couldn't remember.'

'Oh, I can't remember last night. But I definitely remember those breasts,' he answered, blowing up another pair of diamonds.

'Yeah, you never do forget a good set, do you? And Juliet is quite tame, isn't she? So, you really wouldn't have had any other opportunity to see them,' he replied, blowing up a pair of hearts.

'This is bad, Prongs,' he stated, placing a four of spades on a five of hearts.

'Well, it's definitely not good.'

Meanwhile, back in the common room, the girls were still partaking in the game 'Fantasy Island' too mixed consequences.

'Okay, your turn,' said Lily turning to Juliet. 'Which man and what two things would he do for you?'

'Ok. If I was stranded on a tropical island, I would take Sirius Black...he would be completely naked and we would do things that I don't care to mention in front of company...' she answered, peering over at a group of third years sitting in front of the fire.

'What?' laughed Tiffany.

'Hey! I just saw him naked. And I'll tell you something, he's not half bad.'

All the girls erupted in laughter. 'Well, at least you didn't say Snape dressed up as a woman serving you cocktails...' added Lily, glancing at Tiffany.

'Hey, I thought it would be funny!' she retaliated.

'So anyway, a more important topic,' began Juliet, 'do you think he bought it?'

'The prank? Definitely!' responded Lily and Tiffany simultaneously.

'I know. I'm an evil genius!' replied Juliet, taking a bow.

The three of them began to laugh again, until they heard the portrait door open and two boys tumbled inside. Juliet quickly resumed her seat next to Lily. Lily began patting her on the back comfortingly. Remus bowed his head at Tiffany who gave him a small grin and then the two boys headed upstairs to the boys dorms.

'Juliet, looks pretty upset,' said Remus, as he took a seat next to James at the newly summoned Exploding Snap table.

'I know. I'm going to have to apologize,' replied Sirius, sighing at the idea. 'Just if she wasn't wearing that transparent top...'

'She's not!' replied Remus, looking at him with confusion.

'Is she wearing a white top?' asked James, getting slightly bored with this whole thing.

'Yes.'

'It's transparent,' said Sirius, 'If you get it in the right light that...' he began trailing off to the memory of Juliet's chest, which was now a few hours old.

Soon after, Sirius decided that it was the time to apologize. So with James by his side, he headed down to the common room, only to find that the girls were nolonger there.

'Hurry up!' shouted Lily, as they ran down the hallway towards the Hufflepuff chambers. 'We have to tell Calista or she might blow it!'

Calista Hardgrove was Juliet's best friend and fellow sixth year. Calista was always the last to know everything, but generally, she was the one who enjoyed pranking the boys the most.

'Where are you going?' asked Calista, as Lily ran straight past her. Calista's royal blue eyes watched her suspiciously.

'There...you...are!' Lily panted. 'Juliet has something to tell you,' she added, finally catching her breath a bit.

'The thing is...' began Juliet. 'I hope you're not mad but...we're pranking Sirius.'

'Why would I be mad?' she asked, a grin forming on her damasked lips.

'We are pretending that he slept with me and he can't remember,' Juliet replied, peering at her face with her head bowed.

'And you thought I'd care because I used to date him?'

The three girls nodded in agreement.

'You're idiots! This is fantastic!' she said, taking Juliet's arm and leading them all to the lake, where they could fill her in bit by bit.

The four girls sat on the cusp of the lake, wetting their feet and laughing happily. Calista was surprised that Juliet could pull off something like this. She always appeared to be so completely innocent. Lily and Tiffany had taken to their own conversation now, but Calista and Juliet were still intently discussing the prank at hand.

'I can't believe you were completely nude!' giggled Calista. 'It's so unlike you. All of it is so unlike you!'

'Oh, you'd be surprised what an innocent like me is capable of!' replied Juliet, beaming widely at her friend.

'And the transparent top... absolute genius!' Calista was laughing even harder now. She knew that all her old tales of Sirius definitely would have helped her friend.

'You knew it was transparent!' came a male voice from behind her. The boy glared at her. He had finally figured out the truth.

'Of course, she knew, Black! She's wearing the thing, isn't she?' said Calista, moving from her position at the lake to stand up and look him in the eyes. This only made his eyes divert back to exactly where he didn't want them to: Juliet's chest.

'But all of this...' began James, looking confused, 'it was...'

'...A prank,' added Lily, now standing up as well.

'But...I...what?' questioned Sirius, looking just as dumbfounded as James.

'Oh, but girl's can't prank. Can they, Sirius?' said Juliet, rising as well with her arms crossed effectively blocking Sirius' view to her chest.

'You thought of this?' he muttered, now looking at her eyes.

'Yes,' she replied, without any expression on her face. 'Are you going to vituperate me?'

'I have no idea what that means...' he replied, now grinning at her, 'but if that means snog you, then yes.'

He pulled her away from the edge of the lake forcefully and began kissing her until her arms fell loosely by her side.

'I don't think that was necessary...' she whispered, crossing her arms again and looking away from him. Calista laughed at her friend, and moved forward ever so slightly.

'I knew it. I just knew it!' she said, now grinning to herself. 'I'm the true genius here!' Everyone looked at her shocked.

'Care to elaborate there, Hardgrove!' said James, without removing his eyes from Lily.

'Oh, I planned this whole thing. I told Sirius to put the honey in Juliet's bed. I told the girls that the best prank would be if the boys drank too much Firewhiskey and couldn't remember anything. I knew Juliet would do something this crazy, because I've known her forever! I can't believe you all fell for it!' she said, still grinning to herself.

'But...' began Sirius, without really knowing what he was going to say.

'Oh!' added Calista. 'And I helped you find your perfect match!' she said, beaming at him.

'What?'

'Juliet...' she said, taking his hand and placing it in hers. 'She's a pranking genius!'
