A continuation of 'Latet Anguis in Herba', set during the events of The Half-Blood Prince. The Slytherin seventh-years return to Hogwarts for the last time under the shadow of the war and their own demons. But with the wizarding world under the heel of Lord Voldemort, how are they supposed to cope with NEWTs, careers, the Quidditch Cup, and the inevitable drama any student has to cope with - let alone a Hogwarts student?

The Slytherin Quidditch team begin try-outs to hunt down the squad that will win them the Cup, and Cal finds himself face to face with an angry Ravenclaw team and a Chaser with a bloodied nose.

A simple walk from classroom to common room leads to a myriad of interesting conversations for one Tobias Grey - and some surprising interactions once he reaches his destination.

A Defence Against the Dark Arts class demonstrates Tobias' duelling skills, Tanith's refusal to lose, both of their inability to let a subject drop, Snape's teaching competence, Cal's boredom with the whole affair, and just how nuts it all drives Gabriel.
