The Weasley Diaries

Dear Diaries,

Bill handed me these book and told me to write in it. He said I needed it... But the last time I had a diary, it didn't really work out for me. But Bill told me he bought this in a Muggle bookshop, so I know that there won't be any incarnates of You-Know-Who hiding it in.

Anyway, I just started my sixth year at Hogwarts last week. Harry finally asked me out (hurrah! It's been long enough). We haven't had a chance to go on the date yet, but a Hogsmeade weekend is coming up soon. I can't wait!

Oh, it was so romantic! OK, well, a little romantic. I met Harry in Flitwick's room after dinner. He had candles lit, and music playing. When I walked in, he handed me a flower and asked me to Hogsmeade on the 28^th! ...

I never would have thought Harry would do something like that...He doesn't seem the romantic type, does he? Oh well, I'm still excited!

Harry finally asked Ginny out. (It's about time, right?) They went to Hogsmeade together last week. She finally chose someone worthwhile, wouldn't you say?

But they're convinced that I should ask Hermione out...

Oh, great, why did I even mention that? Now you're going to go on about that forever...just pretend I didn't say anything, OK?

Ron, I managed a study session with Professor Sinistra tonight, she'll help us with our questions about Venus. Meet us at the Astronomy Tower at 9:00.

You will not believe what Harry and Ginny did to me! I got a note from Ginny, saying she wanted to meet me at the Astronomy Tower at 9:00, to tell me about her date with Harry. When I got there, though, Ginny was no where to be found!

Ron was, however. He said he was waiting for Harry and Prof. Sinistra for a study session about Venus. Dolts that we are, we didn't realize that we hadn't started studying Venus yet.

Anyway, we waiting ten minutes, and nobody showed. Finally, we understood. Harry and Ginny had been trying to set us up!

And they did a very good job of it.
