I'll be your dream

I'll be your wish

I'll be your fantasy

''Harry?''

Hmmm.......

''Harry?''

Cho Chang, Harry's crush, was standing in front of him, smiling.

''Cho? What...... what are you doing here?''

It was impossible for Cho to enter; this was the Gryffindor common room.

''Sssshhh....... Be quiet Harry......''

Cho leaned forward and closed her eyes........ Harry closed his eyes too...... their lips almost met.......

HOSH

Harry Potter, woke up hastily, breathing fast, wiping sweat from his face. He sought out his glasses, found them, and put them on. He looked around, there was nobody inside but him. It was Christmas holiday, and the rest of the sixth year Gryffindors had gone home.

''What a strange dream,'' he thought.

He touched his lips, and thought dreamily, ''If only it was true......''

Feeling more cheerful, he got out of bed. He changed into his close and preceded to the common room. It was almost empty, as only Colin Creevey, Dennis, his brother, and a couple of seventh years were in the room.

''Afternoon, Harry!'' greet Colin happily.

''Morning,'' he replied.

Colin was puzzled.

Harry went down to the Great Hall for breakfast, but there was no breakfast. It was lunchtime already. All of the houses table were moved to the edge. There was only one table. All the teachers, two Hufflepuffs, a young Ravenclaw and Cho Chang sat there. The food was already prepared.

''Harry!'' greeted Dumbledore. ''Settle down, we were about to begin!''

''Thank you, Professor,'' Harry replied.

Dumbledore drew a chair in the mid-air with his wand. It made a small move and sound, and took place beside Cho. Cho was slightly flushed.

''Afternoon,'' greet Harry.

''Same to you,'' Cho replied.

But their eyes didn't meet.

Harry ate his lunch in silence, as did Cho. After what seemed like ages, Harry finally finished his lunch. He was about to make his way back to the Common Room, when there was hasty movement behind him. Harry turned back.

''Harry!'' called Cho. ''I'd like a word with you, if you don't mind.''

Harry nodded. Cho got up, walked beside Harry; and they proceed to the Entrance Hall. Harry looked curious, so Cho said, ''It's nothing. I just want to walk with you in the grounds.''

And she smiled; a really sweet smile that it made Harry's heart fly.

Cho was foot and a half shorter than Harry. Harry was the who had grown up. That talent of Quidditch, probably from his father, made him.

They finally made it to the ground, walked around the lake, and sat in a bench behind the Christmas Fountain.

''I never saw you stay at Hogwarts during the Christmas Holiday,'' Harry started.

''Well, yeah.. I just felt like staying this year,'' Cho lied.

It's because this is my last year with you, thought Cho.

I'll be your hope

I'll be your love

Be everything that you need

''Cho.'' Harry mumbled.

''Mmm?'' Cho replied light-hearted.

''What's your future plan? You know, after Hogwarts?'' Harry asked.

Cho fell silence.

''It's... it's okay if you don't want to tell me, you know. I mean---''

''Sshh.. it's all right. I''l tell you anyway. Umm...''

Harry felt the snow start dancing down. What is she doing, in a place like this, with me? he thought.

Then Cho answered, ''I guess... I'll keep playing Quidditch. Maybe I'll make my own team, you know. Then I'll start recruiting members for my team with my Hogwarts pals. Houses would not matter anymore, would they?'' she continued.

''I suppose,'' Harry said.

There was silence. But it is no ordinary silence. It was a lovely silence. Both of them knew that words were not necessary. They felt each other's breath.

I'll love you more with every breath

Truly Madly Deeply do

I will be strong, I will be faithful

'Cause I'm counting on you

They faced each other. Their eyes met.

What a beautiful green eyes, Cho thought.

They were not smiling. They both fell into the depths of each other's eyes. The snow fell faster, as their breath started to become fog. It was getting colder.

Cho took off Harry's glasses, really slowly and softy.

''What are you doing?'' whispered Harry.

Everything blurred for Harry. But he felt Cho's mild palm on his cheek.

''You're far more gorgeous without these,'' said Cho, waving Harry's glasses. ''Take them off for a while, would you?'' she smiled.

Harry's heart flew. It was even more wonderful than flying in Quidditch.

A new beginning

''You already did.'' said Harry.

He leaned forward. Cho started to close her eyes. Their world spun around, and round, and round.

A reason for living

But what about Cedric? Harry thought.

Their lips almost met......

You loved him once didn't you?

An inch left...

Harry pulled back. He turned around, and faced the ground below him. Cho was bewildered. She too faced the ground. She moved to the other end of the bench.

Did I do something wrong? thought Cho. Did I-

''Sorry,'' mumbled Harry.

Cho's heart fought to say, ''Don't mention it'' instead of, ''Why?''

The two of them blushed deep red; and a still silence fell. For about ten minutes they sat there. Their heads were full of thoughts. But they were starting to freeze as the weather got colder.

''Let's go inside, shall we?'' said Harry.

Cho nodded, and they walked inside back to the castle. In one corridor, Harry headed left while Cho headed right.

''Well,'' said Cho.

''Yeah,'' Harry replied Harry.

''Bye...,'' Cho said, waving slightly. But Harry did not see it. He turned, and walked slowly to his common room.

He arrived at the Common Room. It was empty. He sat on the couch by the fireplace. It took ten minutes for him to realise that everything was blurred.

Great, he thought. I forgot my glasses.

But Harry didn't mind. Cho said he's better this way, anyway. So why bother?

Damn it my dream had almost come true, and I am the one who ruined it.

He sighed. He loved Cho, he always did. But, Cho's a year older, she's really popular, she's nice, and she's perfect. There was one obstacle anyway; she was once Cedric's Diggory' girlfriend. Harry remembered how Cho's face turned bright every time she saw Cedric, how she happily walks down the corridors hand in hand with Cedric, and how she cried hysterically when she knew that Cedric died.

However, he thought, if Cho wanted to kiss me, doesn't it mean that she also likes me? Anyway, it's been two years since Cedric's death. She might have gotten over him already. She might want to give herself another chance with a guy, with me. Is it possible?

A voice deep inside told him that it was.

He went back to his dormitory.

At the very same time, in the Ravenclaw girl's dormitories, Cho Chang lay on her bed, thoughtfully.

And somehow, dreamily.

We almost kissed, she thought, dreamily. But somehow we didn't, again thoughtfully.

She sighed. Wondering what was wrong with her, or him, Cho touched something in >her robe's pocket. She picked it out.

Oh no, his glasses! She suddenly sat up straight, and thought, I have to give this back to him.

But, it was evening already. So she decided to give it back to him tomorrow, on Christmas. She laid back on her bed, dreamily thought about her crush, Harry Potter himself, and she smiled to herself. Harry Potter didn't know that Cedric >Diggory had never came to Cho's mind since last year.

A deeper meaning yet.

And Cho fell asleep.

The next morning, Christmas morning, Harry found presents for him on the floor.

Harry realised that he got even more presents every year. It was the more he discovered the magic of his magical world. He grinned to himself. Finally, he opened them.

A pair of new socks from Dobby. Again, he thought. Be he was pleased all the same.

The usual jumper and fudge from Ms. Weasley. Great.

A new occasion robe from Sirius. He tried it, it fit so well.

While eating his fudge, a new Wizard Chess set from Hermione.

Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans from Ron. Cool.

A new Change-Colour Quill from Hagrid. Excellent.

The last, and the smallest package, it was from Cho.

His heart leapt. He grinned with happiness. He opened it, slowly, he felt his heartbeat.

A watch.

Harry stared at it dreamily, it took him a minute before he realised there was a note. He read it.

Dear Harry,

Happy Christmas!

I hope you would like this watch. I realised you haven't had one since the second task, you know, the Triwizard Tournament. So I decided I'd give you one.

Do you like it?

Cheers,

Cho.

I love it Cho, thanks, he responded to her in his mind. He put it around his wrist and went to the Great Hall for breakfast.

The seating arrangement was the same as yesterday at lunch. Only the menu was different. As usual, fat turkeys and chipolatas. And two things, Harry was wearing a watch Cho gave her, and Cho was wearing the pretty cloak he gave her.

Their eyes met. They smiled at each other, their face turned deep red.

''Merry Christmas!'' cried Hagrid.

''Same to you,'' replied Harry, hardly took his eyes away from Cho's eyes, and sat beside her.

Hagrid was shocked. ''Harry! Is that you? Where-where's yer glasses?'' he asked in horror.

Everyone was looking at him. Few of them made a small scream. Apparently shocked at how gorgeous he was without glasses. Harry felt himself go red.

''They're... er...,'' he said. He took a quick glance at Cho, who also blushed red.

''Crackers!'' Dumbledore said merrily to Professor Trelawney, who pulled on it awkwardly. The next second, white mice came out, along with birds, which flew away.

After Cho finished her meal, she got up. She felt a soft voice called her.

''Cho!'' called Harry. ''Wait for me!''

He hastily got up, walked beside her, and, once again, proceeded to the ground.

This time they sat by the lake. The ground looked really wonderful that morning.

Snow flakes were falling merrily. The lake was freezing. All trees in Forbidden Forest looked like huge mint flavoured ice cream. But no matter how pretty the scenery was, it didn't compare with Cho, at least for Harry.

Harry could feel Cho shiver.

''Are you cold?'' he asked.

''Just a little bit,'' Cho answered, smiling.

I wanna stand with you on a mountain

''Does this help?'' asked Harry.

I wanna bathe with you in a sea

He held Cho's hand even more tightly as seconds passed. He looked nervously to the ground, but then he managed to look at Cho's beautiful face. He was smiling.

I wanna lay like this forever

Cho blushed bright, deep red. She smiled too, but hastily looked to the ground.

Until the sky falls down on me

Thanks Harry, she thought. It helps me a lot.

''Your palm's warm...,'' whispered Cho.

Harry didn't say anything.

Then Cho remembered, "Your glasses."

Cho picked it out and hand it into Harry's hand.

''Sorry, I forgot...'' she said.

''Don't mention it,'' he replied. He slowly kept his glasses in his robe pocket.

''I really don't mind,'' he continued.

Cho raised her eyebrows.

''Why didn't you use your glasses?'' she asked.

''You saw them! At breakfast? I think people prefer me this way. Actually I kind of liked it too, you know,'' he explained.

Cho giggled. Suddenly, a thought came to her. The fact that he iwas younger. She wanted to believe that age doesn't really matter in love. However, even just a little bit, she felt uneasy. Soon, she was going to leave Hogwarts, leave her crush. She was starting to wonder, Am I going to meet him, after I left Hogwarts?

This thought made her sad. And that sadness, slowly grew stronger. She turned her face to Harry's, which was smiling. She gave a faint smile. Then she turned away.

''You know what, Cho?'' said Harry.

Cho didn't look back. Very quickly, he realised something had came to her mind.

Something annoying, for sure. Harry frowned, but he kept on going.

And when my stars are shining brightly in the velvet sky

''After I leave Hogwarts, I want to be in your Quidditch team.''

I'll make a wish--

''I don't want to listen whether you'd allow me to, cause I will insist!''

---send it to heaven---

Cho's happiness tears melted. Finally, she looked back.

Harry continued, didn't realise that Cho's face was covered by tears.

''You just have to wait one year, then-CHO!'' Harry was shocked.

My goodness, he thought. No, Cho, don't--please don't cry!

--then make you want to cry

Harry raised his palm, and with it, swept Cho's tears. But it kept on flowing.

The next moment, Cho couldn't control herself. She cried really loudly. She burst out all with the happiness inside her.

The tears of joy for all the pleasure and the certainty

''Cho, what's wrong?'' he yelled in panic.

Suddenly, Cho hugged Harry.

She hugged Harry, so tight, that they fell back to the grounds. Cho kept crying on his chest. Harry, really awkwardly patted her on the head.

That we're surrounded by the comfort, and protection of --

Somehow, Harry realised that the tears on his robes were the tears of joy. They were different tears than when Cedric died. They're different sobs than when she cried for Cedric. And he grinned. He flung his arms around Cho. He closed his eyes peacefully, patiently waiting until Cho's tears stop flowing. Minute by minute passed. And Cho's crying stopped slowly.

--the highest power,

in lonely hours

the tears devour you

Harry gently tilted Cho's chin up so she faced him. He reached out and wiped her tears away. Cho smiled weakly.

''Cho, what is wrong? You know it is safe to tell me...'' he continued.

Cho sobbed quietly, then answered, with a softly shaking voice,

''Nothing is wrong, Harry. Everything is perfect. I was just... I was just thinking, how could I leave Hogwarts without you...''

Harry's heart did an enormous leap.

''...when you told me that you wanted to join my team, I was so happy. And I... I wonder why that fact never came to my mind. Then you clicked it to my sense, and... I won't swap this for anything.'' she finished.

Harry smiled. And so did Cho. They lay there, in happiness they could only have dreamed of, stared into the depth of sky, covered by snow.

I wanna stand with you on a mountain

I wanna bathe with you in a sea

I wanna lay like this forever

Until the sky falls down on me

It took Harry ten minutes before he realised how perfect this moment is. He had made up his mind. He had to. If it's not know, then when?

''Cho...'' Harry started.

''Yes Harry?'' she answered.

He sat up straight, then down, on Cho. He put his elbows beside Cho's ears. His right palm on Cho's left cheek.

Cho felt his warmth, then she opened her eyes. Realising how close her face was to his, she blushed.

This situation, she thought. Harry...

Harry gathered his courage, until the final bit of it. And said slowly, ''Cho, I love you.''

Cho didn't say anything.

Oh, can you see it baby?

''Do you want to be my girlfriend?''

Cho's heart leapt. She felt an overburden happiness on his mind, his heart.

Finally, she whispered...... ''Yes...Yes! YES!'' she laughed. She sat up straight, and so did Harry. He hugged her and whispered, ''Thank you' on her ear.

It was hard to tell who was happier then. Their faces were brighter then anything. Their eyes glinting. And once again, they stared into depths of each other's eyes. Harry suddenly realised that he had put his arms on Cho's waist.

So he suddenly let her go. And hastily tried to move further from Cho.

''Er......sorry,'' he mumbled.

Cho giggled, then she said, ''We're a couple now, remember?'' she teased playfully. Cho went beside him. Harry flung his arm on her shoulder.

''Thanks, that's... warm...,'' comment Cho.

''You're right. It's cold here. We've been here for ages. Shall we go inside?'' he asked.

''Yes, quickly!'' she added.

They headed to the Entrance Hall. When they arrived, they tried to get rid of the snow all over their robes.

''Clean that, girl! Remember it's from me, won't you,'' said Harry, grinned, and pointing her cloak.

''And for you too,'' she added, pointing to Harry's watch.

''Alright, alright!'' said Harry.

Snowless, they proceed to the Great Hall. It was empty. There were just Christmas fairies. They proceed to a corridor where they went apart yesterday.

They looked at each other.

''What time is it?'' asked Cho.

Harry looked at his watch, it was almost four in the afternoon.

''Nearly four,'' he told Cho.

Sighed, Cho looked around. Then she screamed weakly in amazement, ''Oooohhh....... Harry! Mistletoe!'' she informed him.

Harry looked up, then there was it. A pretty mistletoe, hanging. Waiting a couple to recognise it.

Harry looked down, and so did Cho.

''I, I never knew there was mistletoe over there.......,'' Cho told Harry.

''Me...... me neither......,'' he replied.

They fell silence. But Cho started first.

''Do you think we should.......,'' asked Cho nervously.

''Nah...,'' he denied.

Harry really wanted to, obviously. The corridor was empty, and they were just meant to be. But they were just going to go apart in different ways.

''People say, if a couple stand under mistletoe, they should kiss. Otherwise their relationship would not go so well,'' she said shyly.

Harry looked at her, so cute!

''Well, if you say so...'' he replied.

Harry was getting closer to Cho. He flung his arms around her waist. Cho flung his arms around his neck. They were smiling really shyly. Cho closed her eyes.

You don't have to close eyes

I don't want to kiss like this, Harry thought. It had to come naturally!

''Cho! Behind you!'' he screamed.

Cho quickly turned back in panic, as a reaction, but there was nothing there.

She turned away while saying,

Cause it's standing right before you

''Wh--''

She was just about to say ''What?''

All that you need will surely come

but Harry's lips touched hers already.

Harry could feel her smiling.

It was a very soft, kiss. It was romantic. For both of them, it was heaven.

A few meters from there, Colin Creevey smiled happily, and very satisfied. Harry and Cho wpuld never know that he was the one who conjure that mistletoe.

Ten Years Later

''Okey dokey team, I know we can do it. We just play it as usual, and we will be fine!'' Harry told his team.

''All right captain, let's show 'em how it's done!'' yelled Ron, the Beater cheerfully.

''We rock, don't we?!'' screamed Hermione, the Chaser.

''Yes we do!'' cheered Ron, Harry, Hermione, Seamus, the Keeper, Dean, the Beater, Padma, and Cho, Chasers, and Parvati, the reserve.

They grabbed their Lightning Bolt Nineteens, their beloved broomsticks, and they waited.

Colin Creevey was commentating.

''Welcome everyone, to this year's Quidditch World Cup!''

The spectators cheered and clapped. There was a light throb all over the place.

Millions of flags waved.

The blackboard on the very top showed: BULGARIA: ZERO, ENGLAND ZERO.

''Please ignore this stormy, rainy, weather. Because you're not the ones who are gonna be wet, but it's the team, the mascots, and the referee.''

The audience laughed. It sure was a stormy day.

''Please welcome, Bulgarian team Mascots!''

Harry and his team did not know what were outside, but they could guess it was the vella.

The spectators cheered loudly, as music began to play. After couples of minutes, the music stopped. Colin cried, 'Put your hands together for the England team Mascots!!''

Harry and his team, along with the spectators, screamed loudly and there were applause.

They were the Boggarts. There was a quick silence, before...... BANG! The audience laughed, and BANG! They laughed even louder. It kept going like that about five minutes when finally...... and BANG! They broke into a final burst of laughter. The Boggarts had disappeared.

''And now, ladies and gentlemen, kindly wave those flags, for the Bulgarian National Quidditch Team!''

''Cheer for Owen!''

A scarlet figure went out, really quickly, and almost invisible. The spectators clapped.

''Miriam! Carlson! Junior! Carol! Petersburg! Aaaaaannnnd............. Lindsey!''

The audience went mad. The stadium felt like shaking hard.

''Queue up!'' Harry told his team. He was the last to lined. Harry''s eyes met Cho, and he smiled.

''Please give a scream, for England National Quidditch Team!'' yelled Colin.

''Greet Weasley! Granger! Finnigan! Patil! Thomas! Chang! And here cooooooooooomes........Potter!''

The spectators cheered so loudly that Harry thought the stadium would break down.

''Here our referee comes... Viktor Krum! Was once a part of Bulgarian National Quidditch Team.!''

He hadn't changed much, though. He was still bulky, with a grim face. He was carrying a Quidditch box. He opened it. The Bludgers were off. The Snitch came out like a Golden giant mosquito. Finally, Krum released the Quaffle.

''Theeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyy're OFF! And i''s Chang! Patil! Owen! Granger! Junior! Then to Granger! Chang! Carlson!''

Meanwhile, Harry Potter was concentrating on finding the Snitch. The weather didn't help, but he was determined. He kept trying to dodge the Bludgers, and did a somersault to release his feelings. It had been a long, tiring, hour.

Fortunately, Miriam, the Bulgarian's seeker, had not found the Snitch also. He kept searching, when suddenly a figure of a longhaired woman fell next to him, and kept falling when he suddenly realised who she was.

''CHO!!!!!!!!!!''

I'll be your dream

I'll be your wish

I'll be your fantasy

His heart raced. He urged his broom to go faster. Cho had almost hit the ground....

I'll be your hope

I'll be your love

Be everything that you need

Before knowing what he was doing, Harry threw himself out from his broomstick.

He hugged Cho, this time not for romance; but to protect her. Because Harry was heavier, Cho was above him. He hit the ground with Cho above him. And he fainted...

He finally woke up. He was not out doors anymore. His wet team surrounded his bed, where he lied. He knew he was in the Stadium's Hospital. He realised the aches that hurt his back. It must have been badly hurt.

Then he remembered.

''Cho! Cho darling, are you okay??'' he looked around in panic, then he found her.

Cho made a move like she wanted to hug him, but she refuse. She knew that it would hurt him. So she kissed him on the cheek.

You're fine, he thought.

''Harry.... Oh Harry....,'' she moaned. She broke off crying. Hermione smiling, gave her a comforting hug.

Then Harry realised that his team were smiling.

''Happy I'm hurt?'' he joked.

His team bursted into laughter.

''No, of course not. We've won you see!'' explained Ron.

Harry grinned.

''We have? That's wicked!'' he exclaimed.

There was a huge relieve in his chest. He took a deep breath.

''Parvati replaced Cho,'' Seamus informed. ''And Cho replaced you. That Beater Petersburg attacked Cho. Hit her with Bludger you see! Poor Cho was not quick enough, so it did hit her. But Ron's anger was overwhelmed, he managed to hit a Bludger on Petersbur''s head, right after Cho caught the Snitch! It wasn't a foul because was finished, right?''

The whole team laughed, but however...

Cho sobbed.

''Why are you crying honey?'' Harry asked mildly. ''You're okay...''

I'll love you more with every breath

Truly madly deeply do

She couldn't take it anymore. She let Hermione go and hugged Harry instead. She broke off into tears, again.

The girls nearly cried.

''You saved me! And now you're hurt..!!'' she blurted out. Harry patted his hair.

''Sshhh.... It's okay now Cho... It's all right...,'' he said, trying to comfort him.

I wanna stand with you on a mountain

The teams members went out one by one.

I wanna bathe with you in a sea

''Are you all right completely now?'' Cho asked softly.

I wanna lay like this forever

''Yeah, thanks.''

Until the sky falls down on me.

''Ready to receive the cup?'' asked Cho, finally smiling.

''You haven't? Oh...... okay then,'' he answered.

Cho helped him get down from the bed. She put Harry's arm on her shoulder and helped him walk. When they reached the entrance to the stadium, the spectators cheered loud ever. Louder than anything that it would have been an earthquake.

The rain had stopped completely. It was a sunny day. The clouds were starting to get out of their way. Cho and Harry grinned.

After what seemed like months they arrived in the Top Box. The rest of the team was waiting, also the opposite team, the Weasleys were grinning, Ginny's eyes looked so red before she turned away, the Malfoys' faces angered.

Dumbledore was smiling.

He handed the Cup to Harry and Cho.

''Congratulation,'' was the only word he could say. The spectators screamed and clapped.

Colin's eyes twinkled as he said,' I think, Harry Potter, the man of the moment, wants to say something.''

The audience went quiet. There were a few ''Ooooooooh''s and ''Aaaaaaaawww''s.

Harry felt himself goes red, and took his wand, pointedt to his throat, and mumbled, ''Sonorus.''

He cleared his throat.

''I 'd like to thank, obviously the Minister, for this ... this honour.'' He showed the cup. The audience clapped.

''Also I' d like to thank my team, the referee, the spectators, everybody; for the supports and guidance.'' Again, the audience started to clapped.

''and this ...''

I wanna stand with you on a mountain

Harry took out something from his robe pocket. It looked like a Golden snitch, but it wings didn't flapped. He turned to face Cho. She was grinning, not knowing what was happening. Harry opened the snitch, then, there it was. Lying there was a ring, which looked like a tiny Diamond Snitch, it wings made a circle.

I wanna bathe with you in a sea

Cho's face turned deep, deep, red. And her heart flew.

I wanna lay like this forever!

The audience don't know what was happening that they started to whisper. Colin said, ''Quietus'' and whispered, ''Sonorus'' onto Cho's throat secretly.

Harry went down, on one knee, his eye's fixed on Cho.

He took Cho's left hand with his right hand, kissed it, and asked...

''Will you marry me?''

The audience went even madder then before. But it was just a quick cheer, then it stopped. Everyone was waiting for Cho's answer.

Finally, Cho whispered,

Until the sky falls down on me

''Yes...Yes! YES!'' she laughed. Harry stood up, his heart was as happy, as relieved, as unexplainable as Cho. Their worlds were spinning round in mixed feelings.

The audience made a long, loud, cheer.

Cho leapt into Harry's arms, and Harry spun her around, forgot about the aches that hurt his back.

Harry let her go, then they kissed. This time a very passionate one. And it took ages until the audience stop cheering.

The next couple of years...

''I can't forget those kisses,'' Cho told his husband, one day in a park.

''There were two specifics one I couldn't forget!'' Harry agreed, as they reached their home.

''Don't bother, I know which ones!'' she replied., unlocked the door.

''Really? Could you tell?'' teased Harry playfully.

''Daddy! Mommy!'' a voice called.

Cho and Harry's grins were as broad as sunrise.

The end
