Ron's Trip to the Malfoy's

Ron's face was distorted into such a look of disgust that if he were to look onto a mirror, it would have nothing to say. Ron was strung up about thirty feet by his wrists above a room full of spiders. Talk about confronting your fears!

Do not, however, think this was voluntary, quite the opposite. He had been on a family trip when he got caught up in a game of tag with Fred, George, and Ginny. When he turned a corner to hide from George, Ron had run right into a bush.

This was no ordinary bush though. It was not only shaped like a gorilla, but it was strong like one too. As Ron was wrestling to get away from the bush, who should walk up to him? Lucius Malfoy.

"I see you've met Armstrong." Lucius sneered at Ron. He tapped the bush with his wand causing it to be still.

"You named a bush?" Ron had always been petrified of Lucius but he was so shocked that he had actually named his bush that it just popped out.

"Yes," Lucius said, obviously not seeing anything odd about it. "Do you know what we do to trespassers?" Lucius questioned.

Ron wrinkled his face and gulped. "No..."

"Well let me show you." With another tap of his wand, Armstrong dropped Ron. Lucius gripped him tightly by the arm and dragged him towards the house.

Under different circumstances, let's say if Ron didn't think he was about to die, he would have appreciated the house. It was huge! The whole Burrow could have easily fit in the entrance way. Ron was dragged into what looked like a torture room. There is where he was strung up.

Don't scream. Appear strong, maybe he'll let me go... okay so maybe not. Jeez it's been a long time. Hours...days...I wonder if Fred, George, or Ginny notice me being gone?

His thoughts were interrupted by the door opening.

Oh please let it be anyone but Lucius, anyone!

The he saw the man approach him, and lower him and then he was face to face with Draco.

Okay, anyone but Lucius or Draco would have been better.

Draco cut Ron loose. "Let's go." Ron stared at his feet not moving. "What is it Weasley? Are you deaf or just dumb? Or maybe even both."

"Spiders." Ron swallowed. Draco rolled his eyes and dragged Ron out of the room to the front door.

Ron stared at Draco as Draco opened the door. "You're letting me go?"

"No. I'm just showing you the lovely stairs! Yes! I'm letting you go."

Ron shrugged and walked out. "This isn't a trick is it Malfoy?"

"No."

"Then why are you doing this?"

"Not for you."

"Fair enough." Ron turned and walked off.

"Hey, Weasley!" Draco shouted. Ron spun around. "Remember to tell Ginny how you got out."

Ron looked puzzled. "What are you talking about Malfoy?"

"I'm doing this for Ginny." Draco replied and shut the door, hard. Ron looked startled.

Ginny? Malfoy likes Ginny? I wonder if he realizes that she too is a Weasley.

And with that, he walked off to go back home.
