She Will Be Loved

As soon as Harry walked into the room, he knew he was out of place.

Everyone suddenly turned around and stared at here.

"Uh… hi guys!" said Harry uncertainly.

'Why am I being stared at?'

Ron smiled at him, while Hermione frowned.

Harry walked over to see Ron.

"Ron… what is going on?"

"Uh… hi Harry! How are you? Did you sleep well?" said Ron.

"Don't beat around the bush, Ron; I know there's something going on."

"Well… it's complicated. Malfoy… well… he told the whole school you have a crush on Hermione."

"WHAT?!?!? I don't! No offense Hermione." said Harry, shocked.

"None taken, Harry. I'm just glad you don't. No offense to you either, Harry." said Hermione uncertainly.

"None taken, Hermione."

Hermione smiled, and Harry, Ron, and Hermione went back up to the Gryffindor Common Room.

At Potions, Snape paired them up… he, of course, paired up Hermione and Harry. He must have heard about Malfoy's wonderful rumor. Malfoy smirked at the pair as they sat down looking morbid.

"So, Potter… having fun with your new girlfriend?" said Malfoy, smirking even wider.

"Malfoy; I've learned not to let you get to me, and I am going to exercise that right at this very moment." said Harry triumphantly. Hermione smiled.

Malfoy just sneered and stayed silent for the rest of class.

The Terrific Trio went to go eat their Terrific lunch.

"Hermione! I've been looking all over for you! I wanted you to braid my hair."

Ginny came running over to them.

"Harry! I didn't see you there! RON!! My favorite big brother? How are you?" said Ginny.

"Gin; what do you want?" said Ron.

"Nothing! Just to say hi to my big brother!", Ginny smiled hopefully, and drooped, "Okay, I need 20 galleons."

"Gin!! If I give you that, I'll need to get a summer job!" said Ron, whining.

"So? Muggles do it all the time. Dad would be so proud!" said Ginny, with a huge grin on her face. Harry couldn't help but crack up.

Ron frowned at Harry, but forked over the 20 galleons.

"Thanks Ronniekins! Hermione, let's go!" Ron blushed at the silly nickname.

Harry interrupted.

"Ron… let's just go eat." said Harry.

"Wait... something's going on! Let's go check! It could be a fight or something!" said Ron. Harry rolled his eyes.

'Ron.. such a sucker for violence.' Harry grinned, and followed Ron to see what was going on.

Both of them gaped when they saw.

Malfoy had Hermione up against the wall, while Ginny was pounding him.

"What is going on here?" yelled McGonagall, pushing her way through the crowd.

"Oh… hi, Professor McGonagall! Just… talking to my old chums here, Hermione and Ginny!" said Malfoy, letting Hermione go.

"Mr. Malfoy, that didn't look like a nice chat. 100 points from Slytherin, and a week of detention." said McGonagall.

"But, Professor...."

"No complaining, Mr. Malfoy. You brought this upon yourself." McGonagall left in a huff.

Malfoy raced up to Hermione's ear, and whispered, "McGonagall can't protect you forever. When you are alone, I will get you, and your little blood-traitor friend over here won't be here to protect you. What goes around, comes around, mudblood." Hermione and Ginny glared at him as he left.

"THAT LITTLE FERRET! Hermione, did he hurt you?" said Ron.

"No, Ron, I'm fine. Let's just go to the common room for a bit." said Hermione.

"Good idea, Hermione." said Harry, who wanted to stop the insanity.

Ginny smiled, and they all left.
