It was about two days before Harry was the size of a youthful Phoenix, just as Albus had said. He'd started growing his usual red and gold feathers, but before long they started changing. In the last forty-eight hours he'd gone from being a Fire Phoenix, to being a Snow Phoenix, to being a Treasure Phoenix, back to

Snow Phoenix, on to being a Shadow Phoenix and then back to a Fire Phoenix. Albus had theorized that he probably kept reverting back to a Fire Phoenix because, subconsciously, he was more comfortable in that form, though if he tried, he probably manage any of them. He also tested some of Harry's magical properties while he was at it. The Fire Phoenix, of course, had healing powers, as did both the Snow and Treasure Phoenixes. The Shadow Phoenix, however, had acidic tears that could eat through metal. Albus told Harry that after he was himself for a day or two, they would test his Apparation methods. Albus explained to him that due to these methods, he might not have to advert to his Animagi forms to be tested. His whole body would simply turn into fire, snow, dirt, or smoke and then he'd disappear. He would also be able to go straight through Anti-Disapparation wards, which would always be a plus.

As for visitors, he'd had none. Albus had insisted that for safety reasons, he wanted Harry to remain there for his after-Burning days. On his next Burning day, Harry would Burn in the Headmaster's office, then once he was able, he'd be allowed to follow one of his friends around for a few days until he was able to change back.

Dumbledore threw Floo powder into the grate and stuck his head in.

"Minerva?" he called.

"Yes Albus?" she called back, looking up from the stack of papers on her desk.

"Could you please come to my office, it should be time to sort our Mr. Potter," he said proudly.

"Oh, yes, of course, just a moment," she said. The next thing Harry knew, he saw a rise of green flames and the Professor came out of the fireplace looking as stern as ever.

"Right, as you've seen before Harry, it takes two magical people to force an Animagus out of their form. It won't hurt, so just try to relax," Albus said soothingly, running a finger along the back of his head. It did in fact soothe him.

"Ready Minerva?" he asked. She nodded. "On three. One---two---three," he counted and as he ended a flash of blue light erupted from both of their wands and hit Harry directly in the chest. This time, unlike his third year, he was the thing growing. It didn't hurt, but it was a bit uncomfortable. When he was done, he was panting slightly, mostly due to nerves, but then to his horror he realized that he was naked.

"Oh dear me, I should have guessed. Minerva, would you be so kind as to go back to the Gryffindor tower and retrieve some clothes for Mr. Potter? He seems to have lost his in the burning process," Albus said kindly as Harry stayed put on the floor on his hands and knees, showing his bum to the professors. Professor McGonagall cleared her throat.

"Of course," she said hastily, and Harry didn't move until once more the room was alit in green light, signaling she was through the grate. Albus draped a sheet around him, allowing the teenager to stand. Harry had the urge to whop the man upside the head to wipe the grin off his face.

"That will defiantly be something to remember next time, I suppose," Albus said retreating behind his desk. "How do you feel? Warm?" Albus asked, then rephrased the question at Harry's scowl. "No, no, I mean, are you cold as you were before you transformed?" Harry had the good grace to flush at the misunderstanding.

"No, I feel normal once more, a bit vulnerable, but fine," he mumbled under his breath, but Albus caught it and grinned again.

"You must write a autobiography one day, Harry. Write about everything that's happened to you, such as your experiences here at Hogwarts and how it influenced your rise to power. It would be quite a feat. I daresay anyone would publish it," Albus said, looking over his glasses.

"They know enough already, distorted truth or not. I'd like to keep the whole truth to myself just now, it may be the only thing I actually have," Harry replied, sitting down in the chair uncomfortably. They sat in silence for a few minutes before Minerva returned in a rush of green flames. Her cheeks tinged a little pink when she looked at Harry, but she kept herself composed.

"You're going to have a lot of explaining to do when you get back to your Common Room. Mr. Weasley was confused as to why you had to have a full set of clothes. He also said that he thinks the shoes you were wearing were the only pair you had, is this correct?" she asked sympathetically.

"Yes, but I have money in my trunk. If someone could Floo Remus, I'll ask him to get me a new pair and bring them here for me," he said looking at Dumbledore for conformation.

"Not to worry Harry, I'll have someone get your shoes and a new set of Hogwarts robes. You say that Remus knows your sizes?" he asked. Harry nodded. "Good, I'll have him as an escort then. Is there anything else you need from Diagon Alley? They might as well get it while they are there."

"Hermione could use another Quick Quill; she seems to be coming to the end of hers. She uses it for the DA. Besides that, I don't think there is anything," Harry conceded, trying to keep the sheet over his shoulders.

"Minerva, please Floo Molly Weasley and tell her of Harry's situation. Tell her that I'll send Remus, because he knows Harry's measurements and she'll need the security, around as soon as possible so that Harry can get his things today," Albus said, looking over his glasses at her. She nodded stiffly and began to move to the fireplace when Harry stopped her.

"Tell Ron to get into my trunk, at the bottom, and get my money bag. There should be about a hundred Galleons in it. Tell him to measure out twenty for his mum," Harry said.

"I don't think Molly would take your money if you threatened to hex her, Harry. You made her rich beyond her dreams, and then you lost all of your wealth. I think she'll take it as an insult if you send money with my instructions," his Head of House said sternly. Harry wanted to protest, but knew that she was right.

"Yes, ma'am. Please tell her thank you for me, won't you?" he asked.

"Of course," she said and was off in another rush of green flames.

"You may go through that door to change, Harry. We'll work a little when you get back, then you'll be allowed to go back to your Common Room. Classes aren't over yet, so you still have plenty of time before dinner," Albus instructed.

Harry went through the door that he swore had never been there before and found himself in a set of small sleeping quarters. It was about the size of a dorm room. It had a large bed, dresser, wardrobe, and a few paintings. To the side of the room was a smaller room, no doubt, a bath room. He went in and breathed in awe - it seemed a scaled down version of the prefect's bathroom. He took his time to change, not really being up to playing guinea pig today. When he was finally done, of course, he made his way back out to the Professor's office, enjoying the feel of expensive carpet under his bare feet.

Once he had made himself comfortable in the chair once again, Dumbledore spoke up.

"Harry, over the next couple of weeks, you may find yourself accidentally doing things. What I mean is, you have to learn how to Apparate four different ways; this doesn't even count the way a wizard does it. You'll disappear in a flurry of snowflakes, a puff of smoke, a whirlwind of dust, or a burst of flames. When this happens, make sure to stay where you are when you stop traveling and collect your thoughts. This Portkey," he said handing Harry a small pin of a phoenix, "will activate when you press it with intent to come home. It will bring you straight into the Entrance Hall from anywhere outside the castle.

"There are also rumors that the Treasure and Shadow Phoenixes have powers that aren't related to healing and transportation. A Shadow Phoenix can disappear, or make itself invisible at will. You may find people doing what you say a lot, but remember not to take this for granted. It works a lot like the Veela charm. It is also rumored that the Treasure Phoenix has a very valuable and rare gift. No one in the hospital wing asked why it was called the Treasure Phoenix, but the truth is, its tears turn things to gold - this would include people. Nicholas Flamel used the tears of a Treasure Phoenix when he made the Sorcerer's Stone, so please heed my advice and do not use this unless you absolutely need to."

To say that Harry was stunned would have been THE understatement of the year. He could be rich beyond his dreams; he could disappear in place; he could make people do things at his will. What Voldemort wouldn't give to have his powers...!

"Professor, do you think it would be okay - that is, when I learn to transfigure into the other forms efficiently, if I gave a feather from the Snow and Treasure Phoenixes? Would it hurt their properties any? I know the more feathers that come from the same phoenix, the less powerful in magical objects such as wands become, but does that constitute me, or the phoenixes in my situation?" he asked.

"There, Harry, I have no idea. You could in theory donate feathers from every species because they have a different genetic and magical make up, but at the same time, those magical make ups are fed from your magic. We'd have to research it and perhaps consult Mr. Ollivander about it," Albus said thoughtfully.

"Have you figured out why I was so cold before I burned?" Harry asked.

"Again, I have nothing but theory. But it is my belief that your Snow Phoenix and your Fire Phoenix were trying to fight for dominance. The other two are too rare to be dominant, but those two could be used as easily as possible in a burning situation. As you grow stronger, you will be able to substitute burning and freezing for what the other two do, but until then, you'll only burn or freeze. I suggest that until you can control it, use that one that you feel at the time. If you happen to be freezing for the days before rebirth, you'll transfigure into the Snow Phoenix to freeze, and if you happen to be burning up the days before a rebirth, you'll transfigure into a Fire Phoenix to burn," he said. Harry nodded in understanding.

"How long are the intervals between rebirths?" he asked.

"A Phoenix has to be reborn every time it has expelled so much magic. So after you have met your magical quota, you'll be reborn. As you get stronger, your quote for magic will be bigger and take longer to arrive. I'm guessing that after you fully mature, you'll probably only burn once a year at most depending on how powerful the magic you're expending is. You'll also find that the more you're reborn, the faster you become yourself again. It now takes Fawkes one day to become youthful again. When I first received him, it took three weeks," Albus explained. Harry liked hearing this. He didn't like being in such a small weak state for so long.

"Professor, what if Voldemort found out about this? He could make me duel and go through a rebirth right before him and then kill me when there's nothing I can do," Harry said worriedly. Albus smiled and twinkled at this.

"Harry only two things are ever certain about Phoenixes. One, they are always dangerously loyal, and two, they are immune to all magic as babies. If anyone tried to kill you just after a rebirth, the spell would automatically backfire and kill the person responsible. That is for certain," Albus said. This greatly relieved Harry.

***

Harry left Albus' office not long after that conversation. He felt a bit lighthearted and for once in his life, felt as if he had the upper hand on Voldemort. Not only had they found various 'Powers the Dark Lord knows not' but they would be exploring and honing in on those powers.

After reaching the Common room he spent fifteen minutes trying to explain to Ron what he needed robes for and why he no longer had shoes. Though his story was a lie, he could tell Hermione knew otherwise. He had a feeling that she was keeping her wealth of knowledge suppressed for his sake of embarrassment. She only smiled, amused.

***

It was the first week in October when something finally happened on accident, and of all classes it had to happen in Snape's.

He was standing over his cauldron and stirring his potion counter-clockwise as the instructions called for. He had been doing the same motion for what felt like forever. The specific potion they were working on today was meant to challenge the patience of a student. There was so much stirring this way and that way that Harry thought his arms were going to fall off. He remembered thinking he was going to go nuts if he stayed there any longer and before he knew what was happening, there was a flurry of snowflakes and he was standing in the Gryffindor Common Room.

For the first time since his rebirth at the end of September, he had expressed one of the characteristics of the phoenix. Not just any phoenix though, the Snow Phoenix. It wasn't even his original form. Glee spread through him at this accomplishment. No doubt Snape was probably furious, but at the moment, Harry didn't care. He practically ran up to Albus' office and burst down the door.

"I did it!" he shouted upon entering only to be stopped by the face of Narcissa Malfoy.

"Oh Harry, it's so good to see you!" she exclaimed upon realizing who he was. He looked back and forth between Albus and Mrs. Malfoy before his eyes settled on Albus.

"Did what Harry?" he asked kindly.

"I Apparated from Snape's classroom by accident just now, could I have a pass to go back?" he asked hesitantly.

"Apparated? Aren't you too young to be Apparating? Where have you been getting training from?" she asked very quickly looking at Dumbledore accusingly.

"If you were listening correctly you would have heard that I said accidentally," Harry said harshly.

"Well, that's impossible, it can't be done accidentally and it can't be done on Hogwarts grounds," she said, smiling as she sat back down in her chair. Now Harry was wishing she wasn't here.

"Headmaster!" came a voice from the grate, "Potter just vanished out of my class as if he used a Portkey! He left ice everywhere!" Snape was shouting before Albus finally got him to shut up.

"I know, Severus, he's here, and I'm taking care of it now. It was an accident," Albus said.

"Accident! You don't just accidentally Apparate in Hogwarts, it's impossible!" Snape was now yelling.

"Severus, that is quite enough," Albus said sternly. "It was an accident and he came straight here after it happened and told me about it."

"As I said before: it's nice to have someone with such high authority in your back pocket, isn't it Potter," he sneered before disappearing from the flames.

"I have a right mind to go down there right now and give that man a piece of my mind. How dare he talk to Harry like that," Narcissa said in a fake motherly tone.

"Save it," Harry said, rolling his eyes. "You're not fooling anyone, Narcissa."

"What do you mean?" she asked innocently. Harry now advanced on her.

"Can you look me in the eye and tell me you don't know where your husband and the Dark Lord are?" he asked standing in front of her.

"Yes," she said meeting his eyes. "I have no idea wher---," but she didn't get time to finish before Harry plunged in and started raping her mind. He wanted to know if this was an act. He wanted to know what the plans were, and most of all, he wanted to know where he could find the escaped Death Eaters.

He found it all.

He retreated from her mind to fiercely that she just about passed out.

"Wha--," she tried to ask but apparently the dizziness and nausea was too much for her to deal with at the same time as speech.

"You've been caught now. The ministry will be here in less than an hour to collect you and I'll be just delighted to tell them where your precious husband and his hooligans are hiding. Professor Dumbledore, they've been staying at the Riddle mansion in Little Hangleton. All the people in the town can tell you where the house is, they know it well," Harry said. Dumbledore immediately rose from his chair and strode to the fire place before taking a pinch of Floo powder and tossing it into the flames.

"Ministry of Magic, Misuse of Muggle Artifacts office, Arthur Weasley," Dumbledore stated.

"Dumbledore! What's wrong, it's not an attack is it?" he asked horrified. Harry had the distinct impression that the Order members had come to associate Dumbledore's face in a fireplace with bad news. It was sad, really; he was usually such a jolly fellow and that should not be the reaction to finding Dumbledore had made a call to you.

"No Arthur, but I need you to bring Tonks and Kingsley down here to apprehend Mrs. Malfoy. I suggest you tell Madam Bones to come also, she'll want to see this," he said.

"Oh, right away Albus, right away," he said and with that was gone.

"Well Mrs. Malfoy, looks like your game is up, but you insisted on coming here today to snoop. If only you had better timing your chances of getting Harry would have been much better," Albus said in a mock grave voice.

"You can prove nothing!" she ranted, "Using the Legilimency spell is frowned upon by the ministry and you know it!" she yelled.

"Oh, but that was no Legilimency spell, that was Legilimency by a master. He can do it just by looking at someone, there's no need for a spell or even an incantation," Albus explained to her.

"Maybe, but its still frowned upon, they won't do anything but expel Harry. Is that really what you want?" she asked cruelly.

"My dear Narcissa, they can't expel him for using a gift, even one such as that. Besides, you can't be questioned under a truth potion so of course they're going to wonder about what you've been up to," he replied politely.

"You won't get away with this, I have funds at my disposal that you could only dream of," she said harshly.

"Oh, not for long. After you've been prosecuted, young Draco will again have his heir status and Harry will have his fortune back, you and Voldemort will be left with nothing," Albus said calmly. Not even seconds after this statement left Dumbledore's mouth did the green flames from the grate alight once again.

"Finally!" Narcissa shouted when Madam Bones, the acting Minister, stepped though. "Finally someone with half a brain is here," she said.

"What seems to be the problem, Albus?" Amelia asked, only to be interrupted by Narcissa.

"The problem is that he," she pointed at Harry, "performed the Legilimency spell on me to try to read my mind. Now he's claiming that I know where Lucius and You-Know-Who are! Preposterous!" she wailed, her golden white hair becoming frazzled.

"Harry, did you perform that spell?" Amelia asked, frowning.

"No, but I did use Legilimency. I can do it just by looking someone in the eye. I've mastered it. I've mastered Occlumency as well, if it's important," he said.

"Why did you need to learn these skills?" the Minister inquired.

"As I told Fudge at the end of Harry's fourth year, Harry's scar connects him to Voldemort. If Voldemort is having a moment of heightened emotion, Harry is dragged though the link to see what's happening. Voldemort learned of this connection and can now manipulate it and send him dreams of a sort. Dreams of him murdering Harry's friends and family. I saw fit to teach him Occlumency to keep the dreams and Voldemort out of his head and keep him from possessing Harry through this link as he did at the end of last year. He picked up Legilimency on his own during the summer. He is a natural and has never needed a wand or incantation for it," Albus explained calmly.

"He possessed you?" she asked in awe.

"Yes, why do you think it was so important that I train this summer for? I could always avoid him, but one day he may learn how to get around my walls and when he does, I'm going to be prepared," Harry said in the same deadly calm voice.

"So are we just to accept his word on this or is there proof that she is hiding these matters?" Amelia asked Dumbledore.

"Hah! Proof, you have no proof! Little flaw in your plan to frame me, is there?" Narcissa sneered.

"Oh, there is a way to prove it. I was actually saving this to be Harry's Christmas gift, but seeing as how it's more needed right now, and the Minister is here to ask permission, I'll give it to you now, Harry," Albus said turning and walking through the door to the room where Harry had changed clothes last week.

He came back out with a large box about a foot and a half high and the same in width.

"It's usually not allowed for someone your age to have one of these. I was going to ask permission from Amelia before I gave it to you because you must be an adult to use it," he said setting the box down on his desk and opening it. He pulled out a large stone bowl that had runes on it and was empty.

"You were going to give him a Pensieve?" Amelia asked.

"I'm sure you would agree that he has been through enough throughout the years to have permission to use one of these. I was hoping certain information concerning the war could be put in here so that if, in fact, Voldemort does get into his mind, these memories will be harder to reach," he explained. Amelia's eyes widened at this statement before she nodded her consent.

"Now Harry, all you must do is point your wand at your temple and think of the memory you want to extract. Then pull your wand away and place the memory in the bowl. In this case, you'll have to think of what you saw in her memory. I'm to understand that, while most Legilimens can only see what's happening, you can actually hear what's going on?" he questioned Harry, who nodded. "Then just do as I said and we'll have everyone look at it."

Harry did as he was told and put his finger to his temple. He thought of the images of Narcissa's memory and brought his finger away from his head. There was a trail of silver as he did so. As he went to put it in the bowl, the string of silver took form and hovered like a mercury orb above his finger until he deposited it into the bowl.

"Well, not quite normal, but who expects you of that Harry," said Mr. Weasley, beaming. Tonks grinned at Remus.

"Now then," Dumbledore said taking out his own wand and probing the memory for a second as he leaned over it. He than stirred it and took his wand out as the mercury substance came out of the bowl and formed a mirror-like projection of Narcissa.

"Are you sure, Lucius? What if they just throw me in some kind of draftee Ministry cell instead of listening to me?" the projection of Narcissa asked her husband.

"My dear, they can't do that. They have no way to find out the truth with the potion Master gave you. Your word is the only truth now, they have to believe you," he said convincingly. "Just make sure you are the first to file for custody."

"What if I get it? Will the brat have to come live with us?" she asked.

"Of course, but it won't be for long. Just until Dumbledore and his lot relax security a bit, then he'll be brought here for Master," Lucius said. "Ask permission right away for him to come to the manor for Christmas, this will make you look better and more welcoming."

"Do you know what the Dark Lord has planned for Potter's money?" she asked somewhat hesitantly.

"Well, he doesn't exactly know how much is left, but make sure you set up a healthy trust for Draco with it before you turn over to him. Draco will come to us soon enough. He just has to see the error of his ways. As for what's left of the money, Master wants to get us out of this daft old house and wants more security, so I imagine that's what he'll spend it on. You know him, he likes it lavish," Lucius said, smiling.

"Of course. How am I to get word to you?" she asked for the last time.

"He has the Floo set up. It is only one way, so you'll only be able to speak to us, we won't be able to respond, but just tell us once a week how things are going and we'll take it from there," he instructed.

"You take care of yourself, hear me?" Narcissa asked kissing her husband gently.

"Always, my love. Master wouldn't let anything happen to me, he needs our money right now," Lucius said laughing manically.

"Good-bye, I'll Floo as soon as I can. I love you," she said before she walked away and out of the front doors of the Riddle Mansion. The memory ended.

Everyone was staring at Narcissa with disgust before she burst out in a pleading voice.

"He modified the memory! I know he did, I don't remember any of that happening!" she cried but no one in the room seemed to care. Madam Amelia Bones nodded to Tonks and Shacklebolt and they came forward, binding her arms and taking her wand.

"Hey cuz," Tonks said brightly, "Finally getting what you deserve for betraying Sirius."

"Black was nothing but a mutt," Narcissa said savagely.

"How dare you!" Harry roared and he saw red. Not only did he see red, but so did everyone else in the office as they stared in horror at the Boy-Who-Lived with red eyes. "You could never be half the human he was!" Harry yelled, advancing on her. No one but Dumbledore dared moved to end his rage. "You're not even half the dog he was," he said reverting to a deadly tone. Dumbledore made a motion that Harry couldn't see, but everyone else in the room could. He had motioned for Fawkes fly to Harry. The Phoenix did as suggested and landed on Harry's shoulder, immediately making the rage subside. The beautiful bird let out a pleased trill as Harry's eyes reverted back to ever-intoxicating green. "Oh, and as for Draco, you'll never have him on your side. He'd never betray me," Harry said.

"The Heir of Slytherin will come for you boy!" she spat, "He will come and you will all be sorry you ever messed with Salazar Slytherin's descendant!"

"Heir? Voldemort's not the Heir of Slytherin," Harry said in mock confusion.

"Huh?" almost everyone in the room said looking confused.

"Oh no, he made me Heir when he tried to kill me, then he re-established it when he used my blood to return to his body," Harry said stripping his robes and undershirt off and turning around. Everyone in the room minus Dumbledore gasped. Harry turned back around to face Narcissa. "I can do things that squib never thought possible. I'm sure you'll hear of it soon Mrs. Malfoy. He'll wish he'd never come back," Harry spat, putting his undershirt back on and following with his robes.

"Gryffindor?" Tonks asked, cocking her head to the side.

"Yes, my father's side of the family. But this better not make it to the media, is that clear?" he said looking around at everyone. "Voldemort still thinks he's the sole Heir and I want to be the one to tell him he's no more than a half-blood with delusions of grandeur," Harry said, grinning.

"Balls boy, some balls," was all Kingsley said. Tonks grinned at this.

"Care to show'em?" she said flirtatiously.

"TONKS!" Amelia said blushing on Tonks' behalf. Dumbledore just laughed. He always did seem to like chaotic situations. Harry joined him. He was far too used to Tonks' mind being in the gutter most of the time.

"Well---er---we'll be getting now," Amelia said trying to compose herself.

"Wotcher, Harry," Tonks said leading Narcissa to the door, "Watch them too," she said letting her eyes flicker downward to his midsection.

"NYMPHADORA TONKS!" Amelia screeched in a style eerily reminiscent of Molly Weasley. "He's sixteen years old!" Everyone laughed this time except Tonks and Amelia. Tonks led the way out of the room with everyone following her. She was muttering something about jokes and cruelty.

"Mr. Potter," Amelia began when everyone but she, Dumbledore, and Harry remained in the office, "Your accounts will be returned to you by the end of the day. We are terribly sorry for the inconvenience and I hope to see more of you soon," she said before giving Dumbledore a meaningful look and leaving the office.

"Well Harry, this has certainly been a productive day. Do you remember what you were doing or thinking when you Apparated out of Professor Snape's classroom?" he asked sitting back behind his desk.

"Yeah, I was thinking I wanted to be anywhere but there and the next thing I knew, I was in the Gryffindor common room," Harry said trying not to grin.

"Do you want to try to do it again?"

"Where to?"

"The Great Hall, it's almost lunch, but no one should be there yet," Albus said standing. Harry nodded and closed his eyes. He concentrated on his spot at the table and then willed himself to be there. He opened his eyes and to his surprise, he was there, well almost. He actually ended up standing on top of the table. His grin only broadened though.

"Very well done, Harry," Dumbledore said upon arrival.

"Well I still didn't do it right," Harry confessed, nonetheless happy about it.

"What do you mean by that?" Albus inquired.

"I don't know which form I used to Apparate with. I just wanted to Apparate and did," he explained.

"You used the Snow Phoenix again. Don't worry, as you get used to it, you'll be able to choose which way you want to leave."

"Do you think that eventually I'll be able to walk around invisible at will, you know, like the Shadow Phoenix does?" he asked, hopeful.

"Harry, as much as I'm sure you're excited about all of the forms, I'd be the most worried about that one. I'm going to advise you not to use the gift of that species very often. I'm not sure if you know this, but Dark magic can be addictive. If you use the magic that comes from a Dark Creature, you just as well might say you've used the Dark Arts. Just promise you'll not dabble too much in the gifts of the Shadow Phoenix," Albus said with what looked like a heavy heart.

"Okay Professor, I promise," Harry said, confused. He didn't see why it should matter what species he used. He wasn't Dark, Albus knew that. He personally thought he'd be able to fight any desires he had to become Dark by using the gifts, but if its what Albus wanted, then Harry would agree.

"Thank you, that is all I ask," the Headmaster said.

By this time the rest of the school was showing up and he was soon mobbed by a pack of Gryffindors who wanted to know how he disappeared like that under Snape's nose. He told them the same thing he told Narcissa.

"It was an accident, I swear," he repeated for the third time before Hermione and Ron finally got the crowd to disperse.

"That was great Harry, before you know it, you'll be able to walk silently and even fly silently. Oh, do you realize how many hidden talents you have now? I mean, no one even knows what the Treasure and Shadow Phoenixes do. I mean, yes, there are theories, but there could be more," Hermione said gushing.

"What can the Treasure Phoenixes do?" Ron asked, lumping potatoes into his plate.

"Ron, I told you to read that book so you'd know what Harry might accidentally do. Did you even look at it?" Hermione said in a scolding tone.

"'Mione, it was boring and huge. It would have taken me all year to read that," Ron said, exasperated.

"It's okay Ron, I don't even know much about it," Harry soothed. "...But the reason a Treasure Phoenix is called that is because their tears can turn things to gold, or so Dumbledore believes."

"WHAT!" the redhead yelled, attracting the attention of everyone at the Gryffindor table.

"Ron, shut up!" Hermione snapped. "This is something that can't get out. The ministry would probably deem it illegal," she said logically.

"But...but...you could be rich Harry. You wouldn't even have to worry about getting your vaults back from Malfoy's mum, you could just cry for about an hour on anything and the goblins could melt it down for you into Galleons," Ron said excitedly.

"Oh, I already have my vaults back. Draco's mum came a little while ago and to make a long story short: I used Legilimency on her and found the memories I needed. Then Dumbledore gave me a Pensieve he was saving for Christmas and I showed Minister Bones the images. Narcissa was taken away and I was given my vaults back," he explained in a nut shell.

"Oh, this is great, so you're not going to be caught up in another one of Voldemort's plans," Hermione said excitedly.

"He'll only make another, but I'm happy for the break right now. Do you guys want to join Draco and I tonight when he practices throwing off the Imperius Curse? It will go in good with your Occlumency lessons you're getting tomorrow," he said.

"Do think that's wise, Harry? It is an Unforgivable," Hermione cautioned.

"I'm doing it to teach you to fight it. The stronger your minds are, the faster your Occlumency walls will go up. If you get really good at maintaining your walls, you could have the concentration to do wandless magic. That's why I'm helping Draco build a stronger mind. I think after he's able to fight the curse all the way, he'll be able to master some spells without a wand. Right now all he can do is a simple summoning charm," Harry said.

"How long does it take him to throw off the Imperius?" Ron asked.

"About half an hour, but I want him to be able to throw it off as soon as it hits or not have to throw it off at all. Peter tried to use it on me last week and I went unfazed. I'm sure Dumbledore can do the same thing," Harry said so not to sound like he was gloating.

"I don't think any of you will have a problem, Ginny, Neville, and Luna included. You, Ron, and Ginny are all too stubborn to come under the influence, Neville is too determined, and Luna, well, she just lets things roll off her, really. She doesn't let anything bother her. It's refreshing," Harry told Hermione as an afterthought.
