"Bye, Sweetheart, have a nice day."

Ginny Potter sent her eight year old daughter Lily to school. Many wizards preferred to teach their children at home. But since Lily was an alone-child, her parents thought it was best for her to attend a Muggle school. Otherwise, she would have been too spoiled.

Ginny went back to the kitchen and sipped at her tea. Harry looked up from his newspapers.

"Honey, you have to eat something. You can't attend the Gynae-healer on an empty stomach. You might faint when you rise from the couch."

"I'm afraid I have too many butterflies in my stomach to eat anything," she said. "I don't know if I ever get used to it. Not that it's hurting, and the healer and the secretary are pleasant people. It's rather the thought about showing the most private part of your body."

"Do you want me to go with you?" Harry asked softly.

"No, I'm used to manage." She sent him a pale smile.

At the same time, an owl dumped a letter down in her lap. "Oh, what's that?" She opened the letter and read:

Dear Mrs. Potter.

We had a cancellation this morning. Could you be here in thirty minutes?

Sincerely,

Healer Valentine.

"That suits me fine," Ginny said to Harry. "Let me just get it over. I only wish I could have a shower, but I'm pressed for time."

"Ah, you can't be that dirty," comforted her husband. "Couldn't you make it with a quick wash of your private parts?"

"Well, I'm afraid I have to."

She went to the bathroom, took the first and the best flannel that she could find, washed herself scantily and changed her pants. After that she put a cleaning charm on the flannel and put it back on the shelf.

Fortunately, there wasn't much waiting time. Ginny was taken directly to the clinic. She began to relax as the middle-aged healer greeted her with a pleasant smile.

"Welcome, Mrs. Potter. I'm glad you could come a little earlier." His deep voice calmed her down.

"Yeah, then we can go home a little earlier," the secretary said, winking at Ginny.

"Typically, Jennifer, you're only thinking of getting off," the healer teased in his particular, good-natured way.

"I shouldn't be the one to hold you up," Ginny said, a little franker by the informal atmosphere. She was already lying on the couch, looking upwards in an attempt to distract her thoughts.

"You don't hold us up. You're quite an uncomplicated patient," the healer said. His wand glided gently inside. "Screening!" Suddenly, the healer began to laugh. "I see, Mrs. Potter, you make much of your intimate hygiene."

"Oh, I didn't have too much time," Ginny replied apologetically, thinking that the healer was ironic.

"Okay, I wonder how it would've been if you had lots of time. Well, joking apart. Everything is fine. No signs of cancer, states of inflammations or anything."

Ginny smiled. "Glad to know." Relieved, she rose from the couch and got dressed.

"Bye, Mrs. Potter." The healer offered his hand. "It's very refreshing to meet a patient like you."

Ginny wondered what he meant, but she didn't have the frankness to ask him.

In the late afternoon while Ginny was cooking, Lily emerged in the kitchen door.

"Mum?"

"Yes, Honey?"

"Have you seen my flannel?"

"I put a cleaning charm on it and put it at the shelf."

"Oh," the girl said disappointed. "That means my tinsel has been removed, too? I hid it in my flannel."

Suddenly, Ginny understood why Healer Valentine had been so amused. The eight year old girl couldn't understand why her mum was chuckling, and she could early enough get to know.

When she told Harry the episode later in the evening, he patted her thigh gently.

"Sweetheart, please don't wash away the tinsel before going to bed tonight."

It's perfectly true: That story is from the real life. I'm excited to see what especially you witches think about it.
