Ginny Weasley and the Heirs of Darkness

Armed with her wand, dreams of becoming an Auror and a pair of Bill's old black leather motorcycle boots, Ginny Weasley felt prepared for anything her 5th year at Hogwarts could send her way: Quidditch Quaffles, Potions exams, and her brand-new relationship with Harry Potter. What she wasn't expecting was interference from a handful of Slytherins; not just the romantic interest of Draco Malfoy, but a mysterious pair of redheaded twins from France, as well. Add in Cho Chang, dragon pox, Weasleys' Wheezes, a new DADA teacher and Lucius Malfoy's evil plotting, and you've got an adventure that will rival Ginny's first rollercoaster year at Hogwarts. Starts off H/G but will eventually be D/G. Includes R/Hr and Cho/Charlie as well.

In this chapter, the budding relationship between Ginny and Harry finally gets off the ground; meanwhile, in France, the twins are paying a dear price for their pranks. Additionally, the entire Weasley clan makes an appearance, and Ginny and Harry play a good-natured trick on Ron and Hermione. This fic starts off H/G but will eventually be D/G. In this chapter, Ginny's off to Hogwarts for prefects' training. Unfortunately, Draco Malfoy is there, too, and she can't seem to keep him out of her thoughts... reminding herself that she's Harry's girlfriend is more difficult with every passing day. Cho Chang makes an appearance in this chapter, as does Pansy Parkinson. Draco is snarky, Ginny dodges him as best she can, and Ron puts his foot in his mouth as per usual.

In this chapter, Ginny realizes she's still torn between Draco and Harry. Frédéric and Georgine are off to Hogwarts, ready to cause as much mischief there as they did at Beauxbatons. Draco is irritable, Ginny frets, Harry is sweet and Fred and George cause even more problems? just a typical return to Hogwarts on the Express. This fic has H/G, D/G, R/Hr and Cho/Charlie.

The plot thickens... The twins are sorted into a Hogwarts house, the entire school finds out about Ginny and Harry, and rumors fly. And for the Slytherins, it's backstabbing and mischief as usual.

In this chapter, Ginny's assailant is revealed, Ginny and Harry argue, Ginny and Draco bicker, and Hermione sticks her nose in where it doesn't belong. Ginny seeks advice from two unlikely sources, with mixed results, and Draco manages to further aggravate the situation....

Things start to heat up in this chapter, and not just for Ginny and Draco. Charlie Weasley makes an appearance, and catches the eye of a certain Ravenclaw Head Girl. The Weasley siblings go out for butterbeer, and Ginny works through some of her problems... but things aren't rosy for long, because something terrible happens while Ron and Draco are on prefect rounds...

In this chapter: The first Quidditch game of the season? Gryffindor v. Ravenclaw. Fred and George, Charlie, and even Oliver Wood make appearances.

In this chapter, Ginny learns more about the dragon pox, she and Draco sort of make up after last chapter's somewhat faulty kiss, and Harry and Hermione jump to all the wrong conclusions. Moaning Myrtle tries to help Harry figure out who attacked Ron, but as usual, her assistance is somewhat of a double-edged sword.

In this chapter: The plot thickens, as Harry and Hermione hare off after answers to the dragon pox epidemic. And, more importantly, at least from Ginny's perspective, Draco finally gets around to approaching her for a date...

It's Saturday afternoon, and in lieu of attending the Ravenclaw/Hufflepuff Quidditch match, Draco and Ginny are setting off on their very first date. Unfortunately, it's marred by a few tricky disturbances, including Ginny's refusal to trust Draco, a secret Floo glitch, and the appearance of none other than Lucius Malfoy....

In this chapter, the plot thickens when Ginny and Fiona overhear a conversation between the Potions Master and the DADA professor. Narcissa confronts Lucius and meddles in Draco and Ginny's already complicated relationship, and another attack originates from Moaning Myrtles toilets. Also: Ron sulks, Harry complains, Hermione is understanding, and Ginny and Draco spar verbally.

In this chapter, Ginny sees a little more of the "real" Draco, Cho finally tells Charlie just why she and Katie Bell have so many issues, Harry spies on a certain couple, the twins bicker, and Ginny's face reveals exactly what she and Draco have been doing in the library when they're supposed to be at prefects' meetings... Blood Ink and Betrayal. Madness ensues at Hogwarts in the busy days before the Christmas holiday. Major changes are afoot for Ginny, Draco, and the rest of the students as they prepare to leave school... Also, Hermione hums, Cho runs, and Harry gets his Christmas wish and doesn't even know it. D/G/H; R/Hr; Cho/Charlie

Christmas has come, and to Ginny's irritation, Harry and Hermione are staying at the Burrow for the holiday. But having Hermione around proves more beneficial than Ginny would have expected, and the youngest Weasley makes a surprise trip to Malfoy Manor. Meanwhile, in France, Georgine discovers that her family is hosting a new guest as well. Christmas trees, Ginny's contrition, mysteries, and Ron on a mission. Plus, Ginny meets Narcissa for the first time.

After the events of the Christmas holiday, everyone returns to Hogwarts for the new term. Harry, Ron, and Hermione hear a surprising tale from Georgine Belleton, and Ginny and Draco reconcile. But in reuniting with Draco, Ginny gets more than just her boyfriend back– she learns the true history of the Death Eaters. D/G, R/Hr

Ginny and McGonagall are finally off to London to visit the Library of Magick and register her Animagus form, but nothing is as Ginny expects. Doing research at the Library, Ginny runs into an old friend, and also learns about the history of a mysterious member of the Black family who disappeared many years ago. Meanwhile, Lucius and Narcissa fight over what to tell their son about their past, and Ginny and Draco's relationship heats up a notch. Colin Creevey takes the calendar pictures, and the confusion about Snape and the DADA teacher is cleared up. Maybe.

In this chapter, Hermione and Ron's rocky relationship takes a turn for the worse. Ginny and Draco couldn't be better, but a surprise package from Narcissa Malfoy, meant to answer long-unanswered questions, creates more mystery than it solves. D/G/H/OC, R/Hr, Charlie/Cho.
