Author's Note:
The beginning of a series based on My Family

A/N: This is what I call a spin-off of the "My Lovely Family", I dunno I always wonder how it would be if the former students of Hogwarts had children with little adventures of their own. Besides, it was surprisingly successful to me and I hope that you guys respond to this like you did to my "...Family" stories.

"Slytherin is going to win this Quidditch match," Lucy Malfoy told her Slytherin friends as they walked to the stadium.

"I don't care what they say, Mr. Potter's gone and Fredericka Weasley isn't the best Seeker in the world. She's no Viktor Krum!"

They all laughed. It was really rare that Lucy had a crowd of Slytherins laughing. She usually was either trying to help them with the many homework questions they came up to her with or seemed to be asking advice.

"I'd watch what you said about the Gryffindor Quidditch team. Fred's an excellent player. And we've got Sidney Ford and Broch Longbottom who can knock a Bludger from here to Timbuktu." Beth Creevey smiled at the Slytherins.

It was all innocent fun. Or at least, that's what any normal professor would think, Just as the students felt the same way about the professors. They figured their teachers weren't the least bit interested in Quidditch.

They were wrong.

Very wrong indeed.

Charlie Weasley had made a bet with the new Medi-Witch, Claribel, that Gryffindor was going to win.

If he lost, he would have to spend a month in the hospital ward being her assistant. If she lost, she would have to clean up after the Nogtails. (See "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them")

It was a win/win situation for the both of them. They seemed to like each other and was fond of suppressing their feelings.

Lucy continued on very tartly," Broch Longbottom's so dumb, he might try to go to Timbuktu in search of the Bludger." More Slytherin laughter.

Beth rolled her eyes.

She was about to open her mouth when a soft deadly voice calmly said," Is there a problem here, Miss Creevey?"

Beth looked up at Professor Snape and shook her head. He glared at her and that was her cue to leave the dispute alone. He turned back to the Slytherins and nodded his head. A few of them silently or shyly said "hi" or they smiled.

Lucy raised her eyebrows and smiled in the most sincerest way possible. You were dead lucky if you had it in good with Snape. Everyone at Hogwarts knew that. Too bad for the Weasleys.

After Professor Snape had left, leaving an eerie essence about him, Lucy spotted a couple more Gryffindors.

She rolled her eyes.

"You know, it wouldn't be said bad if the Gryffindors hadn't thought so highly of themselves. They think they own this school." Lucy said quietly to her friend Mallory Neal.

They walked past the Gryffindors and Lucy caught a glimpse of Broch being surrounded by tons of girls. He didn't look like his usual happy self, but nevertheless he was surrounded by tons of girls.

For a split second they exchanged glances and Lucy scowled which caused him to laugh mockingly.

Was that a bloody Slytherin?" Lucy eyed one of the girls suspiciously.

"Eliza Flint! How dare you!?!"

The girl turned around to look at Lucy startled," Lucy, I'm only threatening him. Besides, why should you care what I do?"

"You're fraternizing with the enemy!" Lucy yelled.

Strange as it was, JR Weasley walked by snorting.

"Don't worry, dear Luce," Broch smiled a toothy Lockhart smile at her," I wasn't putting any smooth moves on her. I was only telling her that she was getting stomped into the ground by the Great Gryffindors."

Lucy rolled her eyes and crossed her arms," The 'Great Gryffindors' aren't going to win. You can give that word of advice to the rest of the Weasleys on the team."

"You know, Luce, I was thinking there for an instance you were going to say something smart for a moment there. I guess not. I mean, seeing that you're supposed to be a Prefect, right?" Broch said that pointing at her badge.

Lucy suddenly felt uncomfortable.

"Listen Longbottom, don't think I won't hex you."

"Wow, she knows my name. By the way, call me Broch. All my friends and enemies do anyway."

"I'm not your friend or your enemy." Lucy rolled her eyes to walk away.

Broch grabbed her arm gently and Lucy gave a sort of shudder. Broch must have noticed, because the amusement in his eyes turned to surprise.

A couple of Slytherins, Ravenclaws, and Gryffindors were surrounded around the incriminating scene.

"Let my arm go," Lucy said quietly.

"No," Broch answered back even more quietly.

Before Broch or even Lucy knew it... she had whipped her wand out and pointed it at Broch's hand.

"Let go!"

Broch's hand shrunk to an incredibly small size and Broch whipped out his wand in defense.

"Stupid Slytherin girls!" he quietly said.

Lucy's cold glare lightened to more of hurt one and she ran off, leaving Broch with the icy stares of Slytherins. All she could hear were the Gryffindors snickering.

Broch sighed and looked at his shrunken hand.

"Guess I better go to Madame Alta, huh?" he smiled at his fellow Gryffindors. He held up the shrunken hand and they all laughed.

On his way to the nurse, he met up with Fred Weasley, and her attention went straight to the baby hand," What happened to you?"

"Oh, uh this?" Broch waved the miniature hand at her and they both laughed.

"Lucy Malfoy showed her true colors."

"Oh," Fred said not paying any attention. "Well anyway, we have Quidditch practice later on this evening. We have to get to the field before the bloody Slytherins do. I swear, if Snape pulls this again, I'm going to get in his face myself."

Broch smiled," You know Snape only gives the Slytherins extra practice time, because they don't stand a chance against Gryffindor."

"Yeah, your dad is a genius Broch." Fred patted him on the back. "Alright, well I'm going to Transfiguration. You know how fun that is."

Broch sarcastically said "oh yeah" and went to the nurse.

Lucy went straight to the dungeons. She had skipped lunch and was tempting whether or not to go to class. It wasn't so much as what he said, it was the fact that she hadn't handled her embarrassment as well as she normally would.

She wiped a tear from her eye and put her Care of Magical Creatures book in her book sack.

"Ouch!" the book bit her hand and she grabbed her Double Potions book and threw it on top of the Care of Magical Creatures book as hard as she could.

"If I couldn't see it myself, I'd say that you were a little embarrassed about what Broch Longbottom said."

Lucy looked up and saw her friend Mallory smiling with his usually Slytherin preference.

Lucy rolled her eyes and grabbed her bag. "I could care less what that stupid Longbottom said. Now, we've got Charms class."

They left out of the dungeons together.

"Oh man, do you think mum's going to like the new hair?" Rachel Weasley ran her hands through her three-inch long hair.

Her twin, Harmony laughed," Maybe I should cut my hair too. That way, mum will yell at both of us and not have as much energy for the both of us."

"Or maybe you two should just run away," JR Weasley said walking past them rolling her eyes.

They ignored her comment and continued on with their hair issue.

"Oh ladies, it can't be that bad." Patrick Wood playfully pulled at Harmony's beautiful long auburn hair and she blushed.

"What is up with you two?" Fred looked at her cousin and then at Patrick Wood.

Neither one of them said anything.

"We need to be off to practice. Broch'll catch up with us later. He's normally late anyway."

The captain Aaron Thomas made all the Gryffindors leave out of the common room.

"Hey Lucy, are you going to watch me practice?" A tall Slytherin boy asked Lucy as she did her Potions homework.

Lucy shrugged," Sure. I guess, I really don't have to turn the homework in until Monday."

She got up and left with some fellow Slytherins and the Slytherin Quidditch team on her way to the stadiums.

Broch knew he was in for it, Aaron would be upset if he came late. That meant that he would have to jog around the Quidditch stadium. At heart, it toned his muscles.

As he ran down the hall, he managed somehow to bump into a few girls from Gryffindor.

"There's a Yule Ball..."

"If you're not busy..."

Broch smiled sheepishly," Ladies, I'm late to practice. I promise to talk to you later, okay?"

"Would you look at this?"

Broch turned his back to the girls and saw Lucy with other members of the Quidditch team.

"Where all you guys headed?"

No one answered. Broch assumed they were being their usual selves and ran off.

"What a show off!" Mallory whispered in Lucy's ear. She ignored the comment and watched him run off.

"Sorry I'm so late, guys!" Broch leaned over huffing and puffing and grabbing his sides.

"My dad was talking to me about an exam I was *this* close to failing." Broch snapped his fingers and everyone on the team laughed, except for Aaron. He wasn't even looking in the direction of Broch. He was looking past Broch, pointing.

"What do they think they're doing?"

The Slytherin Quidditch team made their way over to the middle of the field.

"What do you think you're doing!" Aaron stormed over to the Quidditch team.

"We're practicing," said Eliza Flint.

Fred pushed Aaron out of the way," Well, we can bloody well see that. You big..."

"What's going on?" Lucy had ran over to the scene.

"We have permission."

Fred smiled at Lucy and asked," Do you play Quidditch?"

Lucy shook her head.

"Well, then I don't think you should be here."

"Just because I'm not on the team doesn't mean I'm concerned. Besides, don't get your knockers in a twist. I don't want to play crummy Quidditch with Gryffindors either."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Patrick had now focused his attention on glaring at Lucy.

"Exactly what it means, you dumb bloke."

"Don't talk about him like that!" Harmony chimed in.

"What are you going to do about it?"

"Don't threaten my sister!" Rachel had now focused her attention on Lucy as well.

Lucy continued to stand her ground.

Broch cleared his throat.

"Don't provoke me!" Lucy rolled up her sleeves.

"Let's just practice," Aaron had enough," We don't have to stand here and argue with them. We'll just toast them on the field. And you," he said, pointing to Lucy. "You need to go back to the stands."

He added with an even louder voice," That goes for everyone who doesn't play Quidditch!"

As they parted ways, Lucy heard Broch mumble.

"Yeah, let's leave before the "Junior Death Eater" decides to put the Cruciatus curse on us. Crucio!"

The Gryffindor Quidditch team laughed.

Before Lucy knew it, she was charging at the back of Broch's head.

Something inside told her that if she did this, maybe he would... respect her.

Broch had whipped out his wand a little late.

Lucy had pounced him and was trying with all her might to beat the life out of him. She never screamed until Professor Longbottom was pulling her off him. That was a good seven minutes.

"Oh my goodness!" Neville said as he pulled up Lucy, who was just now coming to her senses. ("My parents aren't bloody Death Eaters! You take that damn comment back!")

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

"Who pulled her off?" Broch looked at his father and then to Professor Snape.

"I did," Neville seemed to be red and had a look of disappointment on his face.

"Where's Lucy?" Broch asked avoiding Professor Snape's eyes.

"With Madame Alta," Professor Snape had that hint of hate in his voice.

"I'd like to see her." Broch sat up straight.

This was when his father decided to come out of his deep reverie.

"You'll be seeing her."

Broch smiled. He really wanted to apologize for what he said. It sounded funny at the moment.

The next few words threw away the relieved smile.

"You'll be seeing her your first week in detention."
