Chapter 5- Black Power

"When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, "Come!" Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a large sword.

Revelation 6:3-4

"Wormtail, what have you learned from your little reconnaissance mission." A snakelike voice penetrated the darkness.

"My....My Lord, Harry Potter as prophesized by Merlin is the next Magus Maximus. Even Dumbledore believes this to be true." The rat like man wheezed, and then continued. "The power is incredible, but I have not as yet been able to determine its source."

"Wormtail, fetch the seer, I need guidance on what needs to come next." Voldemort hissed as the rat like man ran from his midst.

"Magus Maximus is only legend Harry Potter; you will not have the power to vanquish me from this earth. It has already been determined."

*Flashback*

"Who wishes re-birth at evil's hand?" A deep voice penetrated the darkness.

"I, Lord Voldemort wish re-birth at your hand, so I may continue my mission."

Voldemort looked around, this was not the graveyard in which the potion was being brewed, apparently the ancient potion of blood, flesh and bone had opened some kind of portal.

"Lord Voldemort, HA"

The deep voice laughed and penetrated the darkness.

"There is no LORD, there is only good and evil, and you my friend are dedicated to evil."

The source of the voice now became visible as a dark knight on a flaming horse appeared. He had a flaming sword in his hand.

"I did not know that I was on the side of evil."

Voldemort started, not sure he wanted a part of this, and it may not lead to his ultimate gain.

"Oh you are on the side of evil more than you know; I have a proposal for you, Voldemort." The dark knight laughed.

"State your terms."

"You have been one of my most helpful minions, and as such Satan has seen it fit to give you your body back. Now here is your choice, Satan is willing to give you the power to vanquish Harry Potter once and for all, after Harry Potter is vanquished, you must do evil's bidding for all time." Take your time and think about it.

"You mean I will have the power when I emerge from the potion?" Voldemort was gleeful.

"Not exactly, let's just say, power of this magnitude, of what it will take for you to take care of Harry Potter, takes some time to mature, say 2-3 years. Let me just say, you will know when the hunger and the power burns black inside of you." The Dark Knight turned to Voldemort. "So, do you accept, Voldemort?"

"I do."

End flashback

The seer had arrived at the dilapidated manor off the Scotland coast. "God damn this sight of mine!" The seer whispered under her breath.

This seer arguably the best in the last 150 years, was in a tight bind. Serving Lord Voldemort was something she was doing only to keep her family alive, it did not help that she was only half blood. What was worse is she was keeping this personal sin from her beloved family.

Working her way up to the manor from the apparition point, she pulled her robe tighter around her. "Evil just seethes around this place. It is almost visible and tangible."

Knocking on the door she awaited the normal response.

"Who intrudes upon the Dark Lord's Realm?" A voice from inside asked.

"Cut the shit Wormtail, it's Amber Prewett." Amber removed her hood, revealing her long auburn hair.

"Umm....yes Miss, the Dark Lord is expecting you." Wormtail moved aside.

They moved into the sitting room where Voldemort was sitting by a fire.

"Well Miss Prewett it is interesting to see that your innocent love for your muggle loving family keeps you serving me. Though if I do not get a satisfactory reading this time, I do not know how safe I will be able to keep them. A cousin of yours.....Ron is his name, I believe, gets into a fair amount of trouble, without my help." The Dark Lord sneered.

"What do you wish me to divine this time My Lord?" Amber said haughtily.

"I wish for you to find out when my power will finally mature, and how powerful Harry Potter is going to be. I have a good source that says that he has entered his Magical Maturation, and it is no ordinary one." Voldemort stopped, and with his red eyes looked directly into Amber's. "It is a shame, Miss Prewett, that you are only half blood, you are such a pretty thing, but unfortunately the possibility of producing a squib is much too high for me to have my way with you."

Amber shuddered in her boots at this statement, knowing that the other reason the Dark Lord agreed to this arrangement they had was because he was sexually stimulated by her. She tried with all her might to cover her sexuality up when she was summoned.

"Now Miss Prewett, you have your orders, and I expect a report within the week, use whatever means you must to obtain the answer to my question." With that and a lazy hand, Voldemort motioned for Amber Prewett to leave.

As she apparated away from the manor, under her breath she whispered, "You shall never have me Tom, you may have almost gotten Ginny, but you will never have me. That is one sin you will have to kill me before I will agree to it."
