- This story was based on a true story in my life...Just like all my other ones.
They hated each other since the day they met. They had one common known interest: basketball. They had the same favorite college team, even though he would never admit it. They had the same favorite color, same favorite number, and the same favorite day of the year. In fact, they were pretty much exactly the same, as if they were twins separated at birth. They both knew it, and so did everyone else. Everyone knew she loved him, and everyone knew that he loved her, except her. He was always so mean to her. He was her reason for living, and her reason for her mad depression. All he did was make fun of her and getting jealous when she talked to other guys in front of him. He did have something against her, though. One of their many fights was about something stupid, and she was, for once, wrong. She knew it. He knew it. He proved it to her. All he wanted to do was for her to admit that he's right and she's wrong. She would never do that. She couldn't. After all, it was him.
I am talking about, of course, Ron and Hermione.
Whoever made the Hogwart's schedules was insanely wrong this year. All of the schedules were messed up. They all had to be changed. To Hermione's dismay, Ron was added to two of her classes. 'Oh boy,' she thought to herself. 'What a joy.'
She reminisced about the day they met. Let's just say that there was a lot of shoe throwing and chasing each other around, trying to beat each other up.
The first day that the new schedules started, they already fought. Everyone was sick of it. At least three people told them that they fought like and old married couple.
'Ronald Weasley! Do you enjoy arguing with me?' Hermione asked, frustrated.
'No,' answered Ron dully.
'Then why do you start these petty fights?'
'I do not!'
They started fighting again. This time, a girl they didn't especially enjoy came in the conversation.
'You both seem to enjoy it just a little. Otherwise, you wouldn't do it.'
They both chose to ignore her.
The next day, Hermione was sitting in Charms class five minutes before class was to start. Ron sat behind her in this class. Ron walked through the door. Hermione looked up instantly and glared at him. They were wearing the same shirt. Again. For like the fiftieth time this year. He glared at her right back.
'Not again!' they both said at the same time.
They day went past and the two just glared at each other whenever they saw each other. This was how every day basically went. It pained Hermione very much. She hated seeing him with so much hatred in his eyes. Little did she know that this wasn't hatred. This was how Ron expressed emotion. Emotions so strong, like love. Of course, Hermione was too blind to see this. Their love for each other grew stronger each day, each minute, and each time they saw each other. They kept trying to think of new ways to piss each other off. All of them worked.
It was playoff time in the NBA. Hermione wanted the Sacramento Kings to win. When Ron found out about this, he tried so hard to make fun of Sacramento.
'Ha! Peja Stojakovic is a choke! He can score as many points as he wants in the regular season, but he can't step up in an important game. It's all about the playoffs,' Ron said.
This angered Hermione very much. But Hermione knew what made Ron mad. Hermione started flirting with Harry to get Ron's attention. Everyone also knew that Harry liked Hermione, and that he was going to ask her out. Hermione told Ginny that they might go out. She did this when Ron was in earshot. Ron's ears went red.
Ron started flirting with Hermione's best girl friend, Lavender. This made Hermione want to cry. This was it. She knew what she had to do. She knew that she would never have Ron. She knew that Ron could never like her. This was it. It was all going to be over.
Hermione contemplated suicide before, and she attempted it. She just merely cut herself, but no real damage was done. She had a special dagger she did this with. It was a dagger her late Grandma gave her before she died.
Hermione's plan seemed very Romeo and Juliet like. She was going to hide the dagger under her robes, and wait for Ron to start flirting with Lavender in front of her. Then she would go and flirt with Harry. When no one would suspect it, she would pull the dagger out and kill herself. She was going to stab herself straight through the heart.
Hermione walked down to the common room with her dagger. She sat at her normal table and started her homework like she normally did. No one would suspect her. Ron walked in the room and, once he laid eyes on Hermione, glared at her. Right away, he walked to Lavender. Phase one complete.
She walked over to Harry and started flirting. Phase two complete.
Hermione turned around and looked at Ron. Ron looked right back. Hermione smiled and pulled her dagger out.
'Hermione, no!' yelled Harry.
Hermione raised the dagger high above her head. She brought the dagger down and plunged it into her heart.
'HERMIONE! I LOVE YOU!' yelled Ron as she did this.
Those were the last words Hermione heard. She died with a smile on her face. There was blood spilling all over.
Lavender looked ready to kill Ron. Unfortunately for her, he would take care of that for her. He pulled the dagger out of Hermione's body. He held it high above his head, and brought it down into his heart, just like Hermione did. He fell, but the strange thing is that when he fell, his hand fell right onto Hermione's.
