Once in a Blue Moon

16 Years ago, Pilar de Lisle was sent to "exile" in America. She and the man she loved have been separated for that time. Now she's come back, and they are reunited at Hogwarts. But will their love survive the years? And exactly which of these three men is he?

Pilar is introduced to this generation of Hogwarts students, discovers something she finds terribly funny about Sirius Black, and is escorted to the Halloween Ball by Snape. And just who is sending her the roses?

After the Halloween ball, Pilar and her lover share a night - and make love for the first time in many years (have you worked out who he is yet?). And the next day, Harry and co "enjoy" a lesson in hand to hand combat.

Draco writes to his father, who visits the school, and meets "Cuddles".

We reach Christmas. Pilar and Remus Lupin deliver some christmas gifts, and in the process Pilar is accepted into the friendship circle of Sirius and Remus. Gifts are exchanged between Pilar and her lover (and nope - I still haven't said who he is) and they share a late night interlude. Oh - and Snape gets a very special pressie - and retaliates.

New Years Eve brings a surprise birthday party, the aftermath of an argument, a tender interlude on the steps (sigh - I absolutely loved writing that bit), and a conversation between Dumbledore and McGonagall.

The Hogwarts Express is attacked, and the students see a side to their Professor's that surprises them.

Valentines day at Hogwarts. Snape receives a Valentine with a surprising result. Pilar's lover plans a surprise for her - and his identity is finally revealled in the Astronomy Tower. Did you guess right?

Remus shows Pilar his surprise for her, and they finally begin their life together.

Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff play a disasterous game of Quiddich - and nobdoy can work out why it was so bad.

Sirius Black finds out two separate things - and both come as a bit of a shock to him.

Hogwarts is attacked and, I'm terribly sorry to say, Pilar pulls a Mary-Sue stunt. Sincere apologies, but the woman couldn't help herself.

The conclusion to this story. Remus Lupin contemplates Pilar's last gift to him, and receives a surprise delivery. Does all end up happily? Tissues at the ready.
