"Avis," Minerva McGonagall said to the potrait of the Fat Lady. The potrait swung open and McGonagall climbed into the Common Room.

She was told by Albus to retrieve Harry (he said he wanted to speak to the boy about a matter of great importance) and so she assumed he would be in the Gryffindor Tower. Of course, now that she thought about it, if he was anything like his father, he was probably out wandering the castle. She sighed and headed towards the boys' dorms anyway.

She was about to open the 6th years' door when she heard a voice. Hermione Granger's voice, to be exact, and it was coming from inside the boys' dormitory. This could be interesting...

"Do we have to do this?" Hermione complained. "Of course, I'd have to teach both of you, since you haven't really done this before."

"I've tried a few times," Harry said. "Although, that was awhile ago, and I had to be very secretive about it. Or at least when my cousin was around."

"Please, Hermione?" Ron pleaded.

"Oh fine!" she said, not being able to resist Ron's pouting.

There was some silence before Ron spoke.

"What's this? What do you do with it?" he asked Hermione, referring to something he was holding.

"Oh. I'll show you how to work that in a second. Let me turn this on first." McGonagall heard some clicking, then Hermione again.

"Ooh! It works! I wasn't sure if it would work in here."

"Now what do we do?" Harry asked.

"Here, let me show you," Hermione replied. There was silence before she spoke again.

"Oh no! Not like that! You're doing it wrong!"

"Then show us how to do it right," Ron said, sounding just a little bit irritated.

"Fine. First of all, Harry, you're on the top. Ron, you're on the bottom. That's good. Now, you're supposed to go pretty fast."

"Is this right?" Harry asked nervously.

"Yes. Very good," Hermione replied, sounding happier. It was silent for a little while, then she shrieked.

"Ron! You weren't supposed to do that yet!"

"Well sorry! If you'd like to do it, then go right ahead."

"No. I'm not helping you, Ron," Hermione replied.

"Fine," Ron said, not sounding as though he were enjoying this too much. Then Harry spoke up.

"Wow, 'Mione. All the boys are going to want you to teach them about this." When Hermione spoke, she sounded embarassed.

"Well, Harry, we're not even supposed to be doing this. What would the professors say?"

The next few moments were filled with odd grunting noises and Hermione constantly telling Ron to push harder.

McGonagall considered going straight to Albus, but decided that it might be better if the Headmaster didn't have to witness this. With that in mind, she pushed open the door.

What McGonagall saw was certainly not what she had expected.

Hermione was sitting at the edge of one of the beds and Harry and Ron were both sitting on the floor by her feet. Each boy was holding an oddly shaped object with buttons on it in their hands, and these objects were connected to cords. The cords went into some sort of box that was in front a...

...television set?

McGonagall often chatted with the Muggle Studies professor and had seen one of these television things before. They were supposed to be some form of entertainment for muggles. But how...?

"Ms. Granger," McGonagall said, figuring if anybody were to know, she would, "could you please explain to me what's going on here?"

"Well, Professor, I was just teaching Harry and Ron how to play a muggle video game. I had told them about it over the summer and they were awfully interested. It took a great deal of research to find a charm to get it to work properly in Hogwarts, though. I'm not in trouble, am I?" She said the last sentence with worry in her voice.

"Well, no, I don't supposed you are. Although, I'd rather you play this...game in the Common Room, and not in the dorms."

"Of course, Professor."

As Hermione was packing up the T. V. and the game counsel, McGonagall said,

"Also, Professor Dumbledore would like to speak to you, Mr. Potter." Harry nodded and said,

"Just let me help 'Mione get this to the Common Room."

As McGonagall was leaving the boys' dorms, she could still hear a conversation between Harry and Ron. They seemed to be bickering.

"Pity she made us stop," Ron said, disappointed. "I believe I was winning."

"No you weren't," Harry replied. "I was."

"No, I was!"

"Oh please! Your car kept on flipping over! You couldn't have won!"

"So! You were going far too slow to have won!"

"No I wasn't!"

"Yes you were!"

"Oh, would you both just shut up!" Hermione yelled.

"No!" they both snapped at her.

"If you don't stop arguing, then I'll tell Ginny that tonight is cancelled, and I won't show up either!"

That shut both of them up very quickly. McGonagall left the Gryffindor Tower in a hurry, deciding she really didn't want to know. Also, if the students were like...this during the day, who knows what they did at night.

'Better get Severus to do the halls tonight,' she thought, smirking.
