Author's Note:
Ok, I've gotten many posts/e-mails about her being a Mary Sue. Relax! As the story goes on, you'll discover her flaws! So just relax, and let me write =) It'll be alright in the end!

After Chelsea realized whom she had bumped into, she blushed furiously.

Draco eyed her with distaste, thinking, red really isn't her color.

She decided to go back into the car she had previously been in, the one with those nice boys named Harry and Ron, instead of risking the chance of bumping into other people.

She had quite a tendency to do that.

When she entered, the boys grinned and Ron made room for her on the seat.

She sat down across from Harry, when she noticed a white owl's feather stuck to his sleeve. She reached over to pluck it off, and sneezed so hard that she fell off her seat.

Ron and Harry looked at her, surprised. She had a loud sneeze for a hobbit-sized person!

She sat up, embarrassed, and said, "Ummm... excuse me?" Ron and Harry dismissed it with a grin.

The witch with the trolley loaded with wizarding sweets knocked on the glass panels. "Anything that you children would like?" Chelsea scanned over the variety eagerly. She had never been one to pass up an opportunity to eat lots of sugar! She didn't see anything that looked particularly scrumptious, but she decided to get the bag of jelly beans, the ones with the rather peculiar name 'Bertie Botts Every-Flavor Beans'.

When she took out a pink one spotted with yellow, Ron eyed it disdainfully. "I'd be careful, you know. You have no idea what that one could be flavored!"

She shrugged off his warning and popped it in her mouth. It turned out to be grapefruit, her favorite fruit! "Oh, Ron, it's only grapefruit. Well, since you are so negative about ever eating one of these that will actually taste good, try it!" She had fished out another one that looked exactly like the one that she had just eaten. He dubiously looked it over, before taking a tiny nibble. "Ron, you're never going to taste it like that. Just eat it!!" she scolded.

"Want one of these?" Harry offered, handing her a chocolate frog. Chelsea shuddered. Ever since 5th grade science class (they had had to dissect frogs), she had never liked seeing anything that even resembled a frog.

Ron, seeing her look, chuckled. "Don't worry; I'll eat it for you. Just take the card that's in there!"

She did as he said, and she took out a card with a pretty looking woman on it. She raised an eyebrow as she showed it to Ron. "Wow," he gasped. "You got the rarest card on your first frog!"

"Amona Vel'Tya is the rarest card?" Chelsea asked, her eyebrow still raised.

Ron nodded at her, and said, "Uh, yeah, why wouldn't she be?"

"Well, I just thought that maybe..... Oh, never mind."

"Whatever," Harry said, knowing that Ron would've continued arguing about Amona Vel'Tya being the rarest card.

About and hour and a half later, the train arrived at Hogwarts. Since Chelsea was a first year, and the only two acquaintances she had made were second years, she had to be pointed over to a huge man who would take them to the castle.

As she was walking, she noticed a girl who had bright red hair, just like Ron had. The girl had waved to Ron before joining her. Chelsea smiled at her and said, "Hey, I'm Chelsea. Who're you?"

Ginny returned the smile. "I'm Ginny Weasley." She pointed to Ron, who was chatting with Harry and some girl with big teeth and poofy hair. "That's one of my brothers over there, and that," she pointed to a tall boy in glasses, who was tidier than the other Weasleys she had met, "is Percy. He's a Prefect. Those goons over there," with that, she pointed over to Gred and Forge, oh wait, Fred and George, "are the twins, Fred and George. I saw you with my brother Ron and Harry, so you must know them?"

Chelsea nodded. "I have a half-brother named Brian who's in the United States Navy, and a younger, bratty sister named Laura. That's it." She giggled.

"FIRS' YEARS OVER HERE!" the big man's voice boomed out over the heads of the students. Chelsea and Ginny quickly ran over there, and they joined the others of their year. The big man introduced himself as Hagrid before herding everyone into some boats. Ginny and Chelsea managed to get into the same boat, along with a girl who had long, sleek black hair, pale skin, and turquoise eyes, and a boy who looked exactly like her.

"I'm Samantha, and he's Samuel. We're purebloods," the girl said, introducing herself. "Who're you, and are you purebloods?" she said with a sneer.

Chelsea had no clue what a pureblood was, but Ginny must've. Ginny scowled at the Sam's. "I'm Virginia Weasley (just call me Ginny) and yes, I am a pureblood."

The Sam's turned their attention to Chelsea. She gulped. "I-I'm Chelsea, and, frankly speaking, I have no clue what a pureblood is!" she said, gaining her departed confidence with every word.

Samantha and Samuel (who we are fondly calling The Sam's when spoke of as one) gasped and ignored her, but tried to make some conversation with Ginny the Pureblood. Ginny ignored every word they said, and tried to explain some things to Chelsea about wizarding blood. She was about to explain that, sometimes, the Purebloods, "Not me, of course", call people like Chelsea, who don't have wizarding parents, Mudbloods, when the boats bumped against the other side of the lake.

Chelsea looked up.

There, in all its glory, was Hogwarts, School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
