CH. 4

(A/N: Not in Harry's PoV~)

Hermione stared down the stairs. "Ron? Did you?"

He gulped. "Well, 'Mione," he gulped. "Er.. Yes, I did." Neither of them noticed Harry back out of the room.

He turned around to face Ginny. "Ginny! I thought you were upstairs!"

"I came down for some water. What's up?"

He quickly told her about Ron spilling over his not-so-secret-secret, not knowing Hermione was at the top of the stairs.

Ginny squealed, something Harry had not heard her do since his second year. "I just knew my prat of a brother would tell her at some point!" She immediately hid so that she could see out the doorway and hear everything, yanking Harry down with her. "Come on! I know your dying of curiosity, too!"

Ron was still stammering. "Ron," Hermione began, "before you say anything, please don't say that is was a mistake, or slip of the tongue. I couldn't handle that."

"No, it wasn't. Hermione, I.... er... I do love you. I have for...years. Since first year."

"During McGonagall's chess game," they said in unison. He glanced up (he'd been looking at his feet). "Hermione, does this mean that you....?"

She nodded her head. Ron ran up the stairs and grabbed Hermione in a tight hug, whirling her around. He put her down, and she glanced at him.

"This is a lot like the book of mine. Pinch me," she joked. He leaned over and pinched her arm. "Ow!"

"Hermione, it isn't a book. Although out of all the books you've read, I always knew you'd end up mixing books with reality."

"Ron Weasley, take that back! It's always a crack at my reading isn't it?"

Ginny and Harry at the doorway stared at each other in disbelief. Only Hermione and Ron could admit their feeling for each other and end up fighting. They began cracking up. Ron and Hermione could tell they'd been listening and ignored them.

"What did Kru-..... Victor say?"

She looked at him. "He asked me if I would visit him in Bulgaria."

"Write him back and tell him no! You can't posibly be considering it."

"Do we have to go through this again?" she sighed as he followed her upstairs.

Harry and Ginny got out from their hiding spot. Fred and George suddenly came out.

"Well, brother, you are a genius," boasted Fred.

"I told you it would work! That letter from Victor Krum was sure to set Ron off!"

"So, there goes another point for the Magical Matchmakers!" They high-fived happily. Harry and Ginny gaped at them for a minute, and then left, shaking their heads in disbelief.

"And now," whispered George to his brother, "it's time to get them two together..."
