Chapter One

Welcome to Dorm Raiders.

Tonight, four groups of 7th year singles will be chosen by us to have their dorms raided by four different and sexy singles. The catch? The singles won't know what they look like until the end - after the raiding of their dorms. Vice-versa for the groups.

Let's see how things get mixed up when these groups get chosen for a date not by their looks or charm, but what's in their dorms.

Let's get this party started!

*~*

Ginny nervously licked her lips as Lavender fixed her hair, brushing away any blemishes on her face.

Lot's of other girls were inside the seventh year girls dorm, all watching anxiously. There had been a contest, in which every student in fifth through seventh year had their name entered and was randomly drawn. Ginny got chosen for Gryffindor, a 5th year girl named Sally-Anne Perks for Ravenclaw, Blaise Zabini for Slytherin, and Zacharias Smith for Hufflepuff.

Ginny couldn't believe her ears when she heard her name - that she was chosen as a dorm raider - out of some hundred 5th, 6th and 7th years in Gryffindor House. Needless to say it was endless teasing from her brothers when they heard the news from Ron.

"Just give your bio and a few facts on yourself," Lavender said as Parvati set up the brand-new magical camera equipment McGonagall had given them.

"I can't believe the school is actually hosting a dating show," Ginny said, wringing her hands. "Where in Merlin's name did they get the idea, anyway?"

"It's a Muggle show on MTV - it's really famous in America so they play it here as well," said Lavender. "A girl or guy gets to tear apart three different rooms, and then choose the date that belongs to their favorite room."

"You lost me at MTV . . ." Ginny said slowly.

"Music Television," Hermione's voice said from behind Ginny.

"Oh."

Hermione wasn't too keen on the idea of doing a dating show, but as Head Girl, she had no choice but to agree, and help. So she had offered Ginny her dorm as a place to get ready, let Ginny borrow a pair of her finest robes, and Lavender and Parvati were part of the "film crew."

"There's been a new development of technology, which the school is using," she explained when Ginny had asked how they were going to do this. "It's a magical camera - like a photographers camera - but they use a special kind of film, and it's projected onto a wall when ready."

"So it's like a Pensieve?"

"Sort of."

"Okay - she's ready," said Lavender, smiling at Ginny.

Ginny drew in a nervous breath as the older girl slipped off the bed, the girls clearing the area.

"You ready?" asked Parvati, setting the magical camera.

"Erm - yeah."

"All right." Parvati pressed a bright red button on the odd-looking device. "Go, Ginny."

Ginny stared into the camera, frozen for a moment -

"Hi, I'm Ginny Weasley. I'm sixteen. . . I'm in Gryffindor and I play Chaser on my House team. I like to play Quidditch because it's aggressive - and - and fun - and fast. . . Er . . ." She froze.

She had forgotten what to say.

Parvati gave a little huff and the camera clicked.

"What's wrong, Gin?"

"Erm - well, I . . ."

"She's nervous is all," said Hermione. "All right - who's got some parchment and a quill?"

A few minutes later, a bunch of eager girls had signs in hands. Each with a different subject.

"Let's start over," said Parvati.

She pressed the bright red button once more, and signaled for Ginny.

"Hi, I'm Ginny Weasley. I'm sixteen. . . I'm in Gryffindor and I play Chaser on my House team. I like to play Quidditch because it's aggressive - and fun - and fast. . ." she paused and a girl raised her sign high in the air: Boy. "The kind of bloke I look for is one that will keep up with me. . . Sweet, and not too controlling. If he played Quidditch - that would be a plus. I'd also like if he was smart - but not too smart - that can be a turn off."

Hermione placed her hands on her hips and Ginny grinned.

Click!

"Great got it!" said Parvati excitedly.

"Sorry, 'Mione," Ginny said, grinning at her best friend apologetically.

Hermione shook her head. "It's fine."

Ginny watched as Parvati and Lavender excitedly Took down the camera.

What am I getting myself into?

*~*~*~*

Two days later, the contestants' unknowing groups were chosen. Four different people, from four different houses.

Blaise Zabini had gotten Lavender Brown of Gryffindor, Susan Bones of Hufflepuff, Mandy Brocklehurst of Ravenclaw, and Millicent Bulstrode of Slytherin - he was sure in for a surprise with that group.

Sally-Anne Perks had gotten Ron Weasley of Gryffindor, Terry Boot of Ravenclaw, Ernie Macmillan of Hufflepuff, and Theodore Nott of Slytherin.

Zacharias Smith had gotten Hermione Granger of Gryffindor (much to the dismay of the Head Girl and a certain Ron Weasley), Padma Patil of Ravenclaw, Hannah Abbott of Hufflepuff and Olivia Moon of Slytherin.

And Ginny. She had gotten the most surprising group of all. Justin-Finch-Fletchley of Hufflepuff, Michael Corner of Ravenclaw, her very ex (needless to say things hadn't gone too well when they broke up), Draco Malfoy of Slytherin, the very arch-enemy of the Weasley's, and Harry Potter. . . The very boy she'd liked since she was ten years old, and still liked to this very day - secretly, of course.

Things were bound to get very interesting.

The heist was to happen on a Saturday afternoon, no Quidditch was scheduled, no meetings. It was to be a special day for the Dorm Raider's contestants.

The Creevey brother's and Emma Dobbs were to help Ginny. Malcolm Baddock, Morag MacDougal and Graham Pritchard were set to help Blaise. Eleanor Branstone and Owen Cauldwell and Kevin Whitby were to help Zacharias. And finally Anthony Goldstein, Orla Quirke and Maria Speller were to help Sally-Anne.

Hopefully they'll be ready.

*~*

"DORM RAIDERS!" yelled Colin and Dennis as they and Emma Dobbs burst into Harry's dorm.

Harry himself was bent over his trunk to get something when they came in and grabbed him. He didn't know what was going on, and he certainly wasn't going to move until he got an explanation.

"What's going on?"

"Come on, Harry!" squeaked Dennis, who had grabbed Harry's arm.

But Harry, being two heads taller than both the boys, and broader with more muscles, simply stood there. Actually, Dennis was now hanging off his arm.

"Would somebody please tell me what in Gods name is happening?" he asked, lifting Dennis, who was still hanging on his arm, up to eye level. "Well?" he demanded.

"It's . . . Dorm Raiders," said Dennis in a small voice as Harry's dormmates began to laugh, including Ron.

"Are you serious?" asked Harry. "They chose me?"

"Yeah - you have to come with us!"

"But I'm not ready -" which was a lie. He looked all right in just his oxford school shirt, tie and dark trousers - he just didn't want to go.

"That's the point!" said Colin as he grabbed Harry's wrist and began to drag him from the room.

"See ya guys!" Dennis squeaked when they left through the door.

Harry scowled as he noticed Anthony Goldstein, Orla Quirke and Maria Speller run up the stairs past them, all wielding the same equipment.

Harry was dragged all the way to the Room of Requirement.

"They've set up four rooms," Colin told him as they emerged through the door, revealing a plain corridor with four doors, two on each side. "One for each contestant. we still have to get the last - there's two in there already."

Dennis opened the nearest door and shoved Harry through. "We'll be back in about half an hour!" he said before shutting it.

Harry scowled at the door.

This was so stupid - he didn't even want to do it in the first place. But it was a requirement, and when Harry went to McGonagall to complain, she threatened to take away House Points and a detention. Said the chances of him be chosen were very slim.

Well ta-da - here he was. Only the luck of Harry Potter.

"Hi, Harry," said a familiar voice.

Harry turned about to see Justin-Finch-Fletchley and Michael Corner sitting on a couch behind him.

The room was small. Along with that couch it only had a trolley of food, set in front of the boys, a small one at that. There was a bare stretch of wall that the couch was facing, and some sort of silver device on the trolley's second shelf.

"Hi Justin," Harry said automatically. He merely nodded at Michael.

He and Michael hadn't been on good terms after his fifth year, and it was still like that to this day.

Well, at least I'm dressed right. Justin didn't even have a shirt on, revealing his skinny form. Michael's hair was trousled, as if he'd been sleeping.

Harry wearily made his way over to the couch, sitting farthest away from the Ravenclaw and stealing a Butterbeer off the trolley.

"So how long do you think we'll be here?"

*~*~*~*

"Erm - you go in first," Colin said to Dennis as they stood outside the Slytherin common room.

"Why me?" asked Dennis.

"Because I'm older."

"So?"

"I'm the one that was put in charge here," said Colin, puffing out his chest importantly. "I'm running this operation."

"Then I think you should go first. You're bigger."

"I told you to go first -"

"No I'm not going to-"

"- yes, you will -"

"- no, I won't -"

"Yes -"

"- no! -"

"- yes! -"

"NO!"

"Boys," muttered Emma, turning to the secret stone passage. "Invictus."

A door seemed to spring to life and slide to the left, revealing a dark, narrow passage.

"Well?" she asked the boys, one hand on her hips as she balanced the camera on her shoulder with the other. "Are we doing this or not?"

Colin and Dennis gulped.

"Sure," said Colin, slipping into the passageway.

Once inside the common room, they saw Draco Malfoy sitting on a high-backed chair, facing the fireplace.

He scowled at the intrusion.

"Erm - Dorm Raiders?" squeaked Colin.

*~*

Harry, Michael and Justin looked around when the door opened to see a scowling Draco Malfoy enter, followed by the Creevey brothers.

"Draco?!" Harry glared at him.

"Potter." Malfoy upturned his nose, straightening his robes. He was obviously the best dressed out of all of them.

"What's going on?" asked Justin and Michael at the same time.

"We're about to show you," said Colin, grinning as he took a small circular item from the pocket of his robes.

He went to the trolley, popping the item into the silver camera-looking object. He pressed the bright red button and light appeared on the wall, a film.

"Hey - we're only doing what McGonagall told us!" came the high voice of Colin Creevey.

Harry's mouth dropped open as he saw Colin and Dennis pinned beneath Crabbe and Goyle on the floor of the Slytherin common room, the Slytherin's laughing at them.

"Emma recorded that!" exclaimed Dennis.

Malfoy, who was leaning against the wall near Harry, began to snigger.

Colin quickly stopped the film and put in a different one. "Ah - this should be it," he said, his face certainly pinker.

"Shut up, Malfoy," Harry said as the Slytherin snorted.

"Hi guys," said a familiar female voice.

Michael and Justin gasped as Harry watched Malfoy's eyes widen and his jaw drop when he saw.

Harry whipped around.

"I'm Ginny Weasley and guess what," said the image projected 6th year, "I get to raid your dorms. The catch? I don't get to see you before hand."

Harry's jaw dropped.

"Hope your dorms are clean, because you never know what I'll find - but first, you'll find out the facts about me."

"Ginny!?" exclaimed Harry, Michael and Justin while Draco snarled, "Weasley!?"

"This is gonna be interesting," Dennis said to Colin from behind his hand, watching as the film went black for a moment before showing a different scene.

"Hi, I'm Ginny Weasley. I'm sixteen. . . I'm in Gryffindor and I play Chaser on my House team. I like to play Quidditch because it's aggressive - and fun - and fast. . . The kind of bloke I look for is one that will keep up with me. . . Sweet, and not too controlling. If he played Quidditch - that would be a plus. I'd also like if he was smart - but not too smart - that can be a turn off."

Harry's mouth was wide open. He couldn't believe this!

Author notes: Hey guys. I've had this idea in the making for a few months now, but I had to put it aside because of other things.

But it wouldn't leave me alone! And my good friend and I are huge Room Raider fans, so . . . here it is.

I hope you it - and please don't flame me too much. It's my first Riddikulus fic. I do, however, enjoy contructive critism - so suggest away!
