Chapter 09 - Chapter Nine
06/13/2006Hmmm, Chapter Summary, eh? How about some keywords: Harry, Hermione, Hot, Humming. But then it gets rather interesting once Hermione's at work - and the Cautus Contego Charm is activated...
Chapter 10 - Chapter Ten
06/13/2006Lots and lots happening in this chapter - too much even for a summary. Best if you just read!
This chapter gives our favourite witches and wizards some much needed fun and frivolity - and there's also a not unexpected announcement...
Chapter Twelve: More fun and fluff (the “calm before the storm” dear readers!). Seamus arrives for Ron and Luna’s wedding and finds himself rather smitten with Hermione. More fun and games at Harry and Hermione’s where Seamus is reunited with someone he knew from his childhood in Ireland and oh yeah – there’s that little bit about Lucius Malfoy sitting around looking evilly smug ‘cause things are going his way…
Chapter Thirteen is here! Draco receives some devastating news from Dumbledore that serves to strengthen his resolve to get revenge on his father. It’s not a totally unlucky chapter, after all I couldn’t do that to Ron and Luna on their special day! And it’s during the happy festivities that Harry discovers a green-eyed monster lurking within, thanks to Seamus, who also doesn't impress Dean with his unexpected talent, either. Fittingly, Hermione gets the chance to prove to Harry it's HE she loves... Finally, Lucius makes his first move and things appear to be on the verge of going horribly wrong once more for our favourite witches and wizards…
Lucius Malfoy has made his move and by the end of this chapter he has managed to take three hostages. Things are definitely getting a little darker for our favourite witches and wizards folks. Dean is distraught and Dumbledore has to stop him from committing murder. Dumbledore then tells everyone of a flaw in the protective charm he and Harry used on Hermione. And Harry has trouble coming to terms with something Hermione tells him although he realises her decision is inevitable…
Chapter 15 - Chapter Fifteen
08/31/2006Question: How much can you hate Lucius Malfoy? And he’s only just beginning in this latest chapter… ‘So, Draco,’ said Lucius conversationally, ‘this is the woman you love?’ When he received no answer, Lucius lazily drew his wand from his robes and pointed it at Ginny. Ginny felt the pain of the Cruciatus Curse hit her, her own scream reaching her ears at the same time as she heard Draco yell, ‘YES!’ The pain stopped immediately and she opened her eyes to see Draco on his feet, looking at her with pleading and remorse in his grey eyes. ‘You will answer when asked,’ Lucius advised his son in a clipped tone. Bet you hate him...LOTS.
The title says it all - there are four weddings and a funeral...but whose?
The title says it all - there are four weddings and a funeral...but whose?
Does Harry lose his temper with Lucius? You bet he does! And finally – finally! – Lucius unwittingly does what Harry needs – gathers everyone together in the same room…[Hermione! She was standing, her eyes mutely fixed on Harry, a Death Eater stood on each side of her, holding her arms. Harry gazed longingly at the woman he loved – he could see his own longing mirrored in her dark honey eyes and had to once again force down the compulsion to kill Lucius Malfoy there and then – only too aware that upstairs, Death Eaters stood beside Ginny, who mattered – and Draco Malfoy, who didn’t – ready to kill them instantly should anything happen to their master.]
Chapter Nineteen – wherein you finally get all the juicy details of Harry’s victory over the ghastly Lucius! I won’t say anything else right now, just read and enjoy!
The title says it all - there are four weddings and a funeral...but whose?
The title says it all - there are four weddings and a funeral...but whose? This is the sequel to my earlier story, "Day by Day”, and picks up the very next morning. Having said that, I've tried to ensure that this is perfectly readable without having read “Day by Day” - although you don't know what you're missing if you don't! *wink* While this is primarily romance, there's plenty of humour along with a pinch of drama, a drop of mystery and sprinkle of angst...
