Did Harry Potter really never have friends when he was a child, or were there one or two insignificant enough that they were never mentioned? What happened to them? Did Harry ever see them again?

Chapter Two: Shooting Stars. Harry, Becky, and Janey are accosted by Dudley on the playground for the first time...

Chapter three: A short trip a few days before Halloween. The weather has taken a turn for the worse, and we see a great example of Janey and Becky's kindness...

Chapter 4: The Prince and the Pauper. It's Halloween, and Becky and Janey somehow convince Uncle Vernon to let Harry trick-or-treat with them.

Chapter 5: Nightlights. Janey and Harry continue to walk to school every day. Harry finally tells Janey the story of his scar. And Christmastime rolls around.

Chapter 6: Hide It Under a Bush. Becky and Janey both have the same sad news: they're moving to two different places, and within a week of each other too. Will poor Harry ever see his best friends again?

Chapter 7: Trick Candles. Nine years later, Harry goes to visit Hermione for the summer, and discovers a book--and a painting--he never thought he'd see again...

Chapter 8: Starlight, Star Bright. Durmstrang, Beauxbatons, and Salem are arriving for another intercollegiate tournament. Harry, Hermione, and Ron begin to meet some of the Salem students and discover that for Americans, they aren't half bad.

Chapter 9: Homelights. Stumbling upon a group of Salem students singing, Harry gets drawn into a singing competition...and discovers a friend he thought he'd never see again.
