Chapter 6: That's Great?

Ginny looked down at her plate and placed her hand to hide her face a little as Draco walked towards the Slytherin table where Ginny an Paul were seated.

"Hey Draco," Paul said. He stood up. "This is Ginny. Ginny this is Draco."

Ginny looked up at Draco. She expected him to tell Paul that he already knew her, or something of the sort, but instead he said,

"Nice to meet you Ginny," he then sat down, opened a book, and began to read. If he was going to pretend not to know her, that was just fine. If he wanted to be immature about this, fine.

"Same Draco," Ginny said through clenched teeth.

"So Ginny, what do you think about meeting in the library at three?" Paul asked leaving Draco to his reading as he started to talk to Ginny again.

"Fine," she replied tonelessly.

"Okay, great. I have to go now. See you later," Paul said, standing up. He kissed her good bye and walked out of the Great Hall.

This left Ginny and Draco at the table. If this was not awkward Ginny did not know what was. She could feel Hermione staring at her now. Draco coughed. Ginny looked at him. He was staring at her.

"What?"

"You and Paul seem to be getting along fine," he smirked.

"Yeah, now I have to get going now," Ginny said.

******************************************

Ginny walked back to the common room. The way Draco was staring at her and the way he had looked at Paul, it was just weird.

She wondered if Draco would tell Paul about this love potion thing, but she had figured he wouldn't to be less embarrassed.

*******************************************

Ginny went to the library twenty minutes early, just to have some time to think. She sat down at an empty table and she looked around. No one was in the library. Then she heard a ruffle of paper. Ginny looked over to her right, Draco was in the potions section looking through books. Of course, Ginny thought to herself Draco would be in here researching a cure. Ginny sighed and took out her assignment that was due when the holidays were over. She had been working for about five minutes when an owl flew over to her. It was a light brown barn owl. She had never seen this owl before. She opened the letter it had dropped.

Ginny,

I am sorry, but I can't meet you like we planned. My parents asked me to come home again. I will see you after holiday break. I will continue to owl you as much as I can!

Paul

Ginny started to take a piece of parchment out to write him back, but stopped. She didn't feel like writing back to him. She would do it later. She continued back on her assignment.

**********************************************

Draco watched Ginny put the letter down and pick up her assignment. He pretended to read his book that was open, but he could not seem to take his eyes of Ginny.

**********************************************

Later, Ginny sent her letter back with Paul's owl. She had merely said that it was okay that they didn't meet and she would try and write also. Ginny walked slowly down the corridor towards the common room. She did not have anything to do.

She thought about Paul and Draco most of her time. Usually it was mostly Paul, but now it seemed that Draco was more often visioning in her head.

"GINNY!" a voice shouted behind her. She recognized the voice.

"Draco?" She turned around. He came running up towards her, panting. "What?" She could have slapped her hand over her mouth to make sure she said no more. She forgot that she and Draco were supposed to be angry with each other.

"I...fine," he said in between breaths. "Ginny...I...found...cure."

"What? You found a cure for the potion?" Draco nodded.

"That's..." Ginny stopped. She was going to say great, but she stared at Draco. He was slightly leaning against the wall. He looked so...

Ginny gasped.

"What?" Draco asked as he pushed some of his hair out of his face.

"Nothing," Ginny squeaked.

Her feelings for Draco were back.

"Okay," Draco said, and then he continued. "I am sorry about this whole mess, but hey, at least it will be over now," he apologized.

"No, it was not your fault, I..." Ginny's voice trailed off. She stared off into space. "I have to go now, see you."

************************************************

"And do you, Virginia Emily Weasley, take Draco Collingsworth Malfoy, as your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do."

"You may kiss the bride."

A wide smile was on Draco's face as he lifted Ginny's veil and leaned in to kiss her.

"GINNY!" a voice hissed.

A/N Sorry this chapter was so short, I will try to make the next one longer.
