All You Have To Do Is Smile
********************
Chapter Four: Off to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
**********
All you have to do is smile,
In all your beauty and your style.
And I will become yours soon.
**********
Jamie and Jenna had hurried out of the Ministry and "borrowed" one of the Ministry cars. Jamie had said that they wouldn't mind and that this is what they were used for. Jenna found the car well furnished and was quite surprised. It looked too fancy to be used for situations like these.
"Jamie?"
"Uh huh?"
"Doesn't this car look, well, like it's... The Minister of Magic's car? I've seen photos of it and it looks exactly like it."
Jamie skidded and pulled the car over. She opened the door and went to go check the license plate. If it said Minister for Magic then it was Cornelius Fudge's car. After a few moments Jamie stepped back into the car and pressed her foot to the pedal.
"So what did it say?"
Jamie wasn't answering. She was going 120kph and wasn't showing any signs of slowing.
"Jamie! I can't believe this! We have stolen the Minister for Magic's car! We're going to go to Azkaban!"
Jamie then made a sharp right turn into the Kings Cross Station parking. Jenna got out of the car and went to open the door for Jamie, who had her hands still on the wheel.
"Jamie! We have to leave the car here. You can apparate back and I'll be leaving. Come on!"
Jenna held the door open and Jamie got out, leaving the keys in the ammunition. They both walked into the station, Jenna supporting Jamie.
"We. Stole. Fudge's. Car," said Jamie in separate breaths.
"But like you said before, we were only borrowing it."
"You don't understand! If they find out it was me," she gulped, "then I could be fired."
Jenna was now looking around for any sign of her brother, Draco. She spotted a silvery-blond haired boy and assumed it was him.
"Jamie, I have to go now. Apparate back and they'll never know."
"Apparate back. Okay. Got ya."
Jenna was a little worried for her friend. She had never seen her act like this. Jamie was always the one who had it all together and she was the one who went a little frantic. Jenna turned to see that Jamie had gone so she made her way towards the other end of the station.
"Draco!"
Draco heard somebody calling his name and turned around to see who it was. It was Jenna. He smiled but it quickly vanished. He immediately saw her bruise. When she reached him, she lunged forward to give him a hug.
"Great to see you again."
"Yeah. You too. But what happened to your face?"
"Oh nothing much. Did you hear what happened yesterday?"
"I heard it all."
Jenna sighed and sat down on a nearby bench. She brought her knees up and wrapped her hands around her legs, resting her chin.
"I know I shouldn't say this but I'm glad to be leaving Malfoy Manor behind."
"Actually, so am I."
"Really? I thought you liked it there. You were always complaining about Hogwarts."
"Well, Hogwarts is better than the Manor. You'll see."
Jenna took a deep breath and rocked back and forward. Draco went to sit beside her on the bench.
"I think we better go through to the platform now." Draco got up and offered his hand to his sister. She took it and he hoisted her up. Arnold now had the two trolleys ready. They both said thank-you and headed towards Platform Nine and Three- Quarters.

Jamie had successfully managed to get the keys out of the ammunition, which was evidence against her and apparate back to the Ministry. Nobody seemed to notice the disappearance of the Ministry car. Jamie went back up to her office. She was in a lot of trouble. She had taken the evidence and now had to somehow get the car back to it's rightful spot. Should she file a report that the car went missing and offer to retrieve it? Yes that was her best option. She hated this. Simply hated it. Could she keep her mouth shut and not tell anybody what she did?
"Why did I have to get myself into this mess," she said to herself. She put her fingers through her hair, trying to make a decision. "I'm going to file that report and then volunteer to get the car." Now that her mind was set, she went to her filing cabinet, filled out the report and went to Fudge's office.
The walk to his office was the longest it had ever been. She was going to lie to the Ministry of Magic. This wasn't like her but desperate times called for desperate measures. She knocked on the door and hoped for the best.
"State your name and business," said a voice from the intercom.
"Jamie Potter. I have a report of a missing Ministry vehicle."
"Really? Then come in."
The door opened automatically and Jamie stepped in to see many witches and wizards, about fifty or so, all sitting in a circle. The door shut behind her with a loud bang. Fudge was looking at Jamie suspiciously. Did he know already?
"Please sit down Miss Potter." A wooden chair appeared at the side of... Dumbledore? What was he doing here? Jamie none the less sat down.
"Now tell us more about this stolen car."
"A Ministry car was reported missing at 10:15 this morning. It belongs to you Mr. Fudge, and there is no mistake. Your car is not among the others. I offer my services to find the car and bring it back to the Ministry, if that is what you wish."
"Is that so. And this is all?"
"Yes Mr. Fudge."
"You don't happen to know who has taken my car and by any chance where they have taken it?"
He knew something and Jamie could tell that she was doomed. She couldn't get out of this. She just couldn't. What else could she say?
"No Mr. Fudge. I have no clue to who this thief is."
"Are you sure? You're not changing the story? This is the absolute truth?"
"Yes Mr. Fudge. I would never lie to the Ministry. I never have and plan on not doing it ever."
"Ever?"
"I did say that what you were saying was not true Cornelius," interrupted Dumbledore. "Jamie would never steal your car."
"But we have an eyewitness Dumbledore. They saw Miss Potter and Miss Malfoy, in fact, get into the car and drive off."
"Who is this eyewitness, Cornelius?" Fudge looked a little flustered. He didn't like Dumbledore and never would.
"William Thatcher."
"Then it would only be relevant to say that he has been blind for two years."
There were many murmurs and whispers at this comment. An elderly witch, who Jamie had never seen before, stood up. "Mr. Fudge. I am sorry to say but this is a complete waste of time. There is no evidence that Miss Potter has stolen the car except for an eyewitness who is blind. I believe she should find the car. If she does, then there is no need for further investigation. The car is back the Ministry's possession."
Jamie almost felt like hugging this woman. She did, when turned to the side, look exactly like Mrs. Demarchuck but that was impossible.
"Fine then. We will vote. All those who declare Miss Potter guilty, please raise your hand."
Only ten out of the fifty raised their hand. Fudge looked the same as he had when Harry had been on trial. Jamie found this amusing.
"All those you declare her innocent, raise your hand."
The other forty hands shot into the air.
"Found not guilty."
Jamie's stomach was turning. Sure she was happy that they thought her not to be guilty but the fact that she really wasn't. She was guilty but had fooled forty innocent people of the Ministry otherwise. She sighed. The other fifty people exited the room without Jamie noticing. She was still in her chair when Fudge looked at inquiringly.
"Miss Potter? Shouldn't you be leaving?"
"Oh yes." Jamie quickly got up and made her way to the door.
"Before you leave, I do have to ask you something. I received you letter. Tell me why you have been asked to be put of the Jenna Malfoy case?"
**********
"Now, all you have to do is run straight between platform nine and ten. I suggest that you run considering it is your first time," said Draco.
Jenna nodded and started to run towards the platform. She kept her eyes open, not wanting to miss a thing. A shiver went down her spine as she crossed the barrier to see and red steam engine and a sign reading: Platform Nine and Three-Quarters. Draco was right behind her.
He began to quite frantically look around for Miss Potter. "Where is that damn girl. I was sure she'd be here to send her brother off. But no! She had to make my task all the more harder."
"Draco!" shouted Lucius, "Come here!"
Draco jumped but then quickly, without much delay, hurried over to his father. He stopped beside Jenna and awaited the farewell speech.
"This is both of your sixth years, though, in a way, it is your first." He motioned towards Jenna and Narcissa smiled. "Now, I expect you, Draco to receive the highest mark in your year. For the past five years you have only been second. That Mudblood shouldn't be allowed to be better than the Malfoys. Is that clear?"
"Perfectly clear father."
"Right. So Jenna, I also expect you to do well, second or third in your year would be nice. This is just to show that the Malfoys are superior to the rest. Do you understand?"
"Yes, I understand father."
"Good. That is all." He held out his hand, a tradition of the Malfoy family adults when one was leaving the others presence. Draco was shocked.
"Well are you going to shake my hand or not?" Draco hurriedly thrust out his hand. Was his father considering him an adult? He shook his head and let go of his father's hand. "Good day Draco." Lucius bowed and left through the platform.
"Oh, look at you two. Sixteen years old," said Narcissa.
"Mum, please. We're in public," whispered Draco.
"Oh right. I forgot."
"Well we better go. The train is about to leave," put in Jenna.
"I won't keep you much longer." She then hugged Draco and kissed him on the forehead.
"Mum! That was gross!"
"Draco," giggled Jenna, "You sound that a two year old!"
"Oh shut it!"
Jenna began to laugh. A Draco couldn't help but laugh too. "I hate it when she does that!" he thought to himself. "Her laughter is contagious!" When they both settled down, Narcissa gave Jenna a kiss on the forehead and a hug, without the childish "Gross!" As Jenna pulled away, her mother dropped something in her pocket.
"Mum wha-"
"Shh" She put a finger in front of her lips. "Open it after the ceremony. Promise me that."
"I promise."
"Hurry up Jenna! We have to go!"
Jenna ran to the train door and Draco shut it behind her as the train whistle blew, announcing its take off. They both waved to Narcissa as they exited the station. They were off to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
