So, this is what it is like to be at Hogwarts. Seems like a bit of a drag actually. It's way different from American schools though. No different mixes of clothes. No people making out in the hallways. No rows of endless lockers. No lame principal droning over the PA. But these robes...they are going to drive me mad eventually. So sorry, I haven't introduced myself have I? I'm Lanae Juneau. Grand-daughter of the great Albus Dumbledore. He decided to drag me to his grand school of wizardry for a school year to see what the wizards in Great Britain learn. Yea, I don't go to the American school of wizardry yet. I have to wait till I'm sixteen. I go to a math/science muggle high school in Missouri. They won't let me have my wand there but at least I can here.

Of course I should update you on the currant standings of myself here at Hogwarts. I may as well tell you the first day, which sucked. Big time. I'll start at the beginning and work from there. Time to enter my twisted psycho mind. Hold your parents' hands kiddies, it's going to be a wild ride. And please keep your hands and arms inside the vehicle at all times.

-Going at a million miles per hour. You hair flying back to hit the person behind you. Come along...-

"Ah! No way! This is going to suck my ass!" Lanae threw down the parchment as it fluttered to the floor quietly. The young petite fifteen-year-old glared at her parents who both shook their heads before her father stooped down to pick it up. Lanae had black hair cut in a choppy look that ended at nearly her shoulders and brown eyes that seemed to always be flaming in anger. She was rather short for her age, a petite 5'5 and weighing a mere 120 she was constantly being bullied at her school. Although she bit back. Literally.

"You are going to. Your grandfather has requested you attend it for just this one year. And I'm sure you'll be glad to be out of the hell hole that is your currant school." Her mother, a thin woman of forty-one with thinning brown hair and the very same brown eyes that were her daughter's trademark, although freckles dotted her face entirely.

"But Louis isn't going! This isn't fair! I don't want to be separated from Louis!" Lanae stamped her foot in anger, her slim, pale arms crossing over her sleeveless black shirt which covered her small chest. The Louis she spoke of was her twin brother. He was born only a second after Lanae, but Lanae made it seem like it was a full hour at times. Louis had unruly black hair that he kept in a shaggy look and the very same brown eyes that were his twin's trademark. He was only 5'9 and a mere 130. He wasn't bullied at school though because of his sister's reputation. Of course his own kept him to not be bothered also.

"He is going. He just won't be along the same schedule as you. But you will be able to see him when it matters." Her father now spoke. He was actually rather predictable and was twisted around Lanae's little pinkie. He stood taller than her mother and still had a thick mop of black hair that was impossible to comb through at times even though he was already thirty-nine. He had green eyes that Lanae and Louis had unfortunately not inherited. Lanae's eyes brightened at the thought that she would have her twin to rely on to help her carry out mischief and get through the possible hell that awaited them.

"Ok! As long as Louis is going then I am!" Lanae ran off out of the room to hers down the hall from the parlor where her parents had told her the news. When she reached her room she opened it to find her brother there already, flipping through her magazine that she had picked up at the local 'Growing American Youth' meeting. Louis looked up at her entering as he grinned and showed the middle of the magazine that showed a man stretched out across a park bench with a tree blocking his lower body.

"Doesn't this picture just rock? I'm going to hang it on my wall..." Louis grinned as he saw his sister grimace before plopping down beside him and plucking the magazine from his hands. She flipped through the pages until it came to a picture of a woman in a bowl of fruit, pieces of fruit barely covering her upper and lower body.

"No. This one does. This one is going inside my books at Hogwarts." Lanae smiled as Louis scrunched up his face in disgust.

"No way. That one just...squicks me." Louis shivered as Lanae hit his shoulder playfully. That in turn caused a wrestling match that ended with the two sprawled out on the carpeted floor panting for breath. Lanae turned her head to look at her twin brother who did the same. They gave identical smiles to each other before they stood up shakily to pack up for their trip over to England and to see their dear grandfather.

-On the airplane to England. 3:30p.m. Sunday. July 31-

"Oh this is so damn boring! Why couldn't we just Floo there?" Lanae sighed heavily as she leaned back in the plush first class seat beside her twin. Louis shrugged as they sipped their drinks. Both were heavy lidded from being ushered into the large metal aircraft at six in the morning. The two had stayed up late the night before, on-line and reading fanfiction from their favorite animes until four. They were only a half hour away from their destination, London but the two were still bored as hell. There really wasn't much to do on an airplane and once the novelty of the first hour wore off it just got old and stale. Of course Lanae was even sleepier than her brother as three hours into the flight she had taken a break to go into the bathroom with a rather cute Australian girl who was in second class. That had worn her out more than anything.

"Look on the bright side Lanae. There's only a half hour left. Besides, you got some ass. I didn't get any. Pooh." Louis twisted his mouth into a cute pout that just made Lanae smirk and shake her hair back as she looked out the window.

"Maybe if you tried to flirt a bit you'd get some too. Of course you weren't smart enough to bring any protection of anything. Dumb butt." Louis hit Lanae's right shoulder as he stuck out his tongue before turning his attention to the magazine he held.

"Well at least Grandpa's sending someone to pick us up instead of leaving us to our own motives." Louis flipped through the pages boredly. This was the twentieth time he had flipped through the magazine and he had nearly memorized it by now.

"Yea. We'd be standing in the middle of London looking around like we were in a foreign land or something. But I heard that they have great clubs over there so we can do some clubbing on Friday, Louis old chap!" Lanae giggled quite suddenly making the old man that had been snoring a good tune jerk awake and kick their seat.

"Damn it. Shut up you stupid Yankee." The old man gruffed as he closed his eyes to fall asleep again. Anger crossed Lanae's face as she turned to snap at the man. Louis instantly put his hand over her mouth and pulled her back around as they sat still for the rest of the ride.

-London airport. 4:10p.m. July 31. Sunday-

Lanae and Louis exited the aircraft as they retrieved their trunks and various baggages before they began to look around for the person who was supposed to be picking them up. Lanae was perched on her black trunk covered in pictures of women, band stickers, and bumper stickers reading a book she had thought to bring. She was receiving many a look from the many people who passed by her and Louis. Of course maybe it was her slightly misplaced black tank top and short miniskirt that was paired with her favorite knee high boots that made people stare. Or maybe it was her thick black lipstick, eyeliner, and eyeshadow that did it. Of course Louis was dressed similarly. Except he wore a black wifebeater and baggy black shorts with knee high lace up boots and he had put on his make-up lightly.

"Ugh...if the person does not show up soon I am going to scream before I pull my wand out here and now." Lanae threw down the book which was revealed to be a thick novel called 'The Dark Side' by Stephen King. Louis shook his head at his sister's statement. Sometimes she could be so impatient.

"Hey. You see that sign? The one that says our names? That's being held by that...really large guy?" Louis nudged his sister's shoulder as they both looked in the direction Louis was pointing. A overly large man with black hair that seemed to go everywhere and wearing a long furry looking coat stood about 20 feet away waving a sign that flashed their names.

"Whoa...that guy is huge...but it's the guy! Hey! We're over here! Lanae and Louis Juneau!" Lanae stood up on her trunk and waved her arms as the guy looked over to them. He nearly did a double take as Louis almost blushed scarlet at the attention they were getting from everyone. Of course as soon as the man strode over people jumped away from him as if burned by fire.

"You two are Lanae and Louis Juneau? Dumbledore's grandchildren?" The man spoke actually quite softly as Lanae and Louis nodded in unison before the man sighed in relief and tucked the sign away.

"Thank Merlin. I thought you two had already gone. I'm Rubes Hagrid. Gatekeeper and teacher of Care of Magical Creatures at Hogwarts. Come along now. We have cars from the ministry waiting." The man spun to go as Lanae and Louis softly whispered charms on their belongings that caused everything to be light as a feather. The two loaded everything onto carts as they wheeled it out to a large white car that had the man Hagrid waiting beside it for the two. Their belongings were loaded into the trunk which looked to be magicked to hold more before the three loaded into the car and were driving off toward who knows where.

"Excuse me...Hagrid? Where are we headed?" Lanae asked as Hagrid looked out the window absent mindly.

"To King's Cross. We'll be taking the Hogwarts Express to Hogwarts where you two will be meeting your grandfather who will then show you to a special place in Hogsmede where you can stay until September 1st when the term begins." Hagrid turned his attention back to the window, Lanae falling quiet as Louis and her leaned on each other to sleep. Just as their eyes fell shut and that familiar feeling of being taken through thick water passed Hagrid nudged them softly in the arm. The two slid their eyes open slowly, seeing Hagrid's face fall serious. He pulled out a worn piece of parchment and a small owl out of his robes.

"What's that for? Don't tell me we're going to send an owl post...that's so old. I don't see why you don't just upgrade to the Internet." Lanae leaned back in the plush seats, frowning slightly as Hagrid almost fully ignored her as he wrote out a short letter to Dumbledore. Lanae diverted her eyes to it, hoping he wasn't speaking bad about them.

Dumbledore

I have Louis and Lanae here. They both seem to be well and in good

health. I pray that you have their temporary home ready. Lanae seems

to be the normal American wizard. I hope that you are well.

Hagrid

He rolled the parchment up before tying it to the owl's leg whom he then let out the window of the car. Lanae watched it fly away and become a speck before she turned her attention to Hagrid; who sat back, completely quiet and this dead look in his face.

"Mr. Rubes...we heard about the awakening of Volde-" Lanae was cut off by Hagrid turning to her, anger in his eyes and voice as he spoke thickly.

"Don't say his name!"

"I'm sorry...the awakening of You-Know-Who and I'm wondering if it's a good idea to have Louis and I stay with you at Hogwarts. Even though it has been a long time dream to attend it." Hagrid gave a huge sigh and didn't reply. Lanae opened her mouth to question him further but Louis slowly shook his head while turning to look out the window himself. She settled herself in the seat before falling asleep as deeply as her brother was.

-King's Cross Station. 6:16p.m. July 31. Sunday-

As soon as the car pulled to a stop Hagrid tugged Lanae and Louis out of the car and to the trunk where they loaded their trunks and belongings onto carts. They wheeled them to the barrier between platform 9 and 10 where few people mingled.

"Now, you just run through the barrier here. You'll end up on the platform and I'll be following you shortly. Louis, you first so we don't attract too much attention." Hagrid gave a rather pointed look in Lanae's direction at her thick black make-up as she huffed loudly before crossing her arms across her chest. Louis swallowed deeply before running at the barrier full speed, the wheels of the cart cackling loudly. Once he reached the barrier he disappeared making Lanae raise her eyebrows in interest. Hagrid nodded to her as she smiled softly before walking calmly toward the barrier and disappearing through it. When she opened her eyes she saw the large scarlet engine waiting, a few witches dozing in various windows. A squeal of delight escaped her as she wheeled over to the engine, her hand reaching out and touching the smooth surface. She loved trains and to see a steam engine, a running steam engine was a dream of hers.

"Lanae? Aren't you going to get on? It leaves in a few minutes." Louis stuck his head out the door of one of the coaches as he shot a quizzical look her way. She nodded before wheeling on over to him and loading her trunk onto the train's luggage compartment. She took a glance at the emptiness at it, turning back around to size up the people milling about before she smirked and dragged her trunk on board with her. Once she reached the compartment where her twin sat she saw that he had also brought along his trunk on board along with the rest of their belongings.

"So Louis, you think you're going to find any hot guys there?" Lanae stretched out on her side of the compartment as Louis shrugged before turning to look out the window at the empty platform.

"I don't know. I wonder though what grandfather is going to do as far as our living arrangements since it is a boarding school." Louis sighed as he settled down to sleep. Lanae rolled her eyes before they latched onto the pretty witch she saw walking by their compartment that had short red hair styled in waves that reached her shoulders. Lanae stood quickly as she moved to the door.

"Don't you ever stop thinking about sex Lanae?" Louis uncovered his eyes to lay a steady stern gaze on Lanae who only smirked and shook her head.

"Nope. See you in a few. I have got to get that girl..." Lanae winked before she rushed out of the compartment and down the hall to find the girl. Back in the compartment Louis could only shake his head before he pulled out a porn mag he had hidden in his trunk, already loving the naked men he saw in the magazine even as the train began to pull out of the station.

"Damn...where in hell did she go?" Lanae cursed under her breath as she peaked inside one compartment, rushing through the train before she saw the girl stretched out in a compartment she had nearly passed. She skidded to a stop before carefully opening the door and managing a small smile. The girl blinked twice at Lanae before a shaky smile spread across her face.

"C-can I help you miss?" Lanae smiled as she sat down across from the girl who looked to be very nervous at Lanae's forwardness.

"Yes. I just noticed you passing by the compartment I was in and I was just so struck by your beauty that I had to find you so I could tell you...I'm Lanae Juneau and you are?" Lanae nearly purred as she leaned against the window, her brown eyes twinkling as the girl ducked her head, a light blush covering her cheeks to match her hair.

"I'm-I'm Ginny Wesley. I'm here with my brothers Fred, George, and Ron along with their friend Harry Potter. We're just heading out to Hogsmede for a little shopping..." Ginny nearly jumped when Lanae placed a pale hand on her right shoulder, Lanae already scooting close while reaching one hand up to brush her hair back from her face.

"I see. Well Ginny, I must say that you are absolutely beautiful. Your hair is like winter fire or rather some ember in a fire. It's seductive actually." Lanae leaned close, her now pink lips very near to Ginny's own. Ginny opened her mouth to say something when Lanae pushed forward, her lips covering Ginny's in a soft teasing kiss. Ginny's hands lifted to push Lanae away but Lanae quickly enfolded them in her own, her lips pulling away.

"Well Ginny...I must say that your lips are so very tasty. Did you mind that I kissed you?" Lanae separated one hand from Ginny's cold ones to brush a strand from Ginny's eyes. Ginny could barely shake her head before Lanae took her lips again. Although her hand now brushed Ginny's chest before moving down to take Ginny's cold hands.

"GINNY?! WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!" A loud booming voice broke through the silence of the compartment as Lanae was quickly shoved back by a very red Ginny who stood up to face her three brothers and Harry who were all gawking at the entrance.

"I-I can explain!" Ginny stammered mightily as Lanae stood slowly, a sly smirk crossing her face as she swept past Ginny to exit the compartment. Two tall red heads, a shorter one, and a slightly tall boy with black hair and a weird scar on his forehead blocked her path as she narrowed her eyes trying to squeeze past.

"Excuse me...but I need to get back to my twin brother. Would you mind moving out of my way?" Lanae struggled to move between the two tall red heads when the shorter one suddenly shoved her back into the compartment.

"First you tell me why the hell you were just kissing my little sister!" His face flamed red as Ginny softly mumbled his name, a trace of anger in her voice. Lanae narrowed her eyes more, her hands clenching into fists as she realized these were the brothers that Ginny had been talking about.

"Why should I? She may be your little sister but I doubt that you need to know every little intimate detail of her life!" Lanae threw her hair back as her eyes flamed in anger. She took a step forward, her whole body practically shaking in anger.

"That is it! Get out! Whoever the hell you are get away from my sister!" The boy roared as he stepped back and pointed a finger at the now open doorway. Lanae smirked as she quickly turned to kiss Ginny one last time before breezing out and down the hall to her compartment. Ron then slammed the door shut before he spun to Ginny, Ginny only able to shrink back into a seat.

"God. What an over-protective prick!" Lanae swept into her own compartment as Louis shut the magazine calmly before sitting up and glancing at his sister who huffed loudly before sitting down across from him.

"So, how'd it go Lanae?" Louis smirked, Lanae already going off onto a tangent about the whole past situation.

"I was just kissing the girl when her prick brothers broke in, the younger one yelling and ranting about how I should explain why I was kissing her! Stupid little arrogant over-protective carrot top PRICK!" Lanae stood up roaring the last bit as Louis could only blink, laughter filling him even as Lanae breezed out of the compartment again. Once she left he collapsed into laughter that seemed to fill the entire room with light.

Lanae took a deep breath as she knocked on the door of the compartment where she knew Ginny and her brothers were. The door creaked open to reveal Ginny standing there, her eyes wide when she saw Lanae standing there. Lanae waved her hand behind her, her eyes silently begging Ginny. Ginny took a glance behind her before she slipped out of the compartment and followed Lanae down to an empty one.

"Ginny...I....I'm sorry I kissed you. I know that you didn't want it...but I really do like you." Lanae leaned against the door as Ginny sat down on one of the benches.

"It...It's alright Lanae. Actually I should tell you how old I am because I'm sure you will want nothing to do with me once you find out. I'm in Gryffindor at Hogwarts, I'm a 4th year and I'm about to turn fourteen. I don't know how old you are but you seem to be at least 5th year or maybe even 6th year." Ginny lowered her head, expecting a laugh or even worse for Lanae to straight up leave without saying a word.

"That's alright. I'm only fifteen and a half. Fourteen isn't that young, dear Ginny. Although I'm going to go, my twin Louis is waiting for me. I need to catch some shut eye and get used to your time zone. Ja ne Ginny." Lanae gently lifted Ginny's chin up before she brushed her lips across Ginny's again. She then swept out of the compartment and down to wherever hers was. It was just in time also because Harry came into the compartment, his eyes lighting up when he saw Ginny.

"There you are. Come on. Ron is fuming about where you are. He's wondering if you're secretly meeting that girl with the weird make-up these past few minutes." Harry leaned against the door frame casually checking out Ginny's face and eyes for traces of nervousness. Although there was none amazingly. Strange. Harry had seen the girl exit this compartment.

"Well then tell him it is none of his business of what I do in my personal life." Ginny stalked past Harry down to their compartment as Harry rubbed his head, slightly confused. Women, was all he could mutter before following her back to Ron and the twins.

"Ah! That was certainly a restful sleep! Come on Louis!" Lanae sat up stretching her arms way above her head before letting them flop to her lap. The train had slid to a stop and by the time Louis and Lanae were able to get off the train with their trunks and belongings making a little mountain around them, Ginny, Harry, Ron, and the twins were also getting off.

"Lanae! Louis! Welcome to Hogsmeade my grandchildren. It's been so long. You two have both grown, and you both look so alike!" Dumbledore smiled as Lanae ran forward hugging him tightly while Louis calmly made his way over. Lanae tipped her head to look at Ginny when she pulled back from Dumbledore, sending a sultry wink her way which in turn made Ginny stumble and blush. Ron spun to see what caused his little sister's problem only seeing Lanae, her twin obviously, and...Dumbledore?!

"Dumbledore and her are related?! No way!" Ron stared at the three, his mouth hanging open. Lanae just winked at him before turning to walk off behind Dumbledore to their carriage. Her hands crossed behind her back, one slim finger raising from one hand to be directed at Ron. Lanae turned her head to him, smirking as she wagged her right middle finger before climbing into the carriage with her brother and her grandfather.
