Truth or Dare

Ginny looked around. Her gaze landed on one of the girls. "OK... Hermione... Truth or Dare?"

Hermione sighed. "Truth."

"Did you ever kiss Viktor Krum?"

Hermione swallowed. "N-no..."

Instantly her face broke out into a mass of giant purple pimples. Harry nearly doubled over in laughter, causing Ginny to fall off his lap. When Harry was coherent enough to speak, he wiped tears from his eyes and said, "HA!!! I told you! Lucky for you these are only temporary, so they should go away in a few hours or so. Or when you finally tell the REAL truth. Oh, I was hoping someone would do that."

Hermione glared daggers at him. "Fine. I did kiss him. But it was only a light peck! Happy?"

Her spots cleared away as fast as they had come, and Harry grinned. "Yes."

Hermione smiled sweetly. "Good. Now, Harry, truth or dare?"

"Umm... I dunno... dare I guess..."

Hermione looked triumphant. "Okay, I dare you to..." She leaned over and whispered something in his ear. When she finished, Harry had gone completely pale.

"WHAT?!" he yelled.

"You heard me."

Harry grimaced, got up, and grabbed his invisibility cloak. He stalked out of the portrait hole, fuming. Everybody got up to follow him, but Hermione stopped them. "No, wait. You don't have to follow him, just look out the window."

Everybody rushed to the window. A couple minutes later, Harry came out. He started skipping around like a little girl in a daisy field, except for one minor detail. It was snowing. And he was only wearing his boxers.

The girls all giggled and looked at eachother, and the boys looked awed that Harry was actually doing it. Especially Ron. Finally, after about fifteen minutes, Harry came back inside. He entered the portrait hole wet and shivering, although, thankfully, he was fully clothed. He sat down. Ginny didn't dare to sit on his lap until he was fully dried off, so he performed a little drying spell upon himself. She sat down looking very smug for some reason.

Harry cast his gaze around the little circle, trying to find the perfect target. His gaze swept over Pavarti, then did a double take. He grinned. She gulped. "Pavarti. Truth or dare?"

She squeaked. "Um... truth?"

"Ok... who do you REALLY like?"

She squeaked again, and then looked down at her toes, mumbling something indistinguishable.

Harry leaned forward. "Sorry, didn't catch that."

She looked up. "D-Dean..."

Dean looked awestruck. "Really?" he asked, goggling at her. She nodded, blushing. Then she looked at Seamus. "Seamus, you're the only boy who hasn't done it yet. You know the question."

Seamus answered without hesitation. "Dare."

Pavarti grinned. "Kiss Lavender."

Lavender and Seamus both glared at her, but then blushed. Seamus leaned forward and kissed her on the cheek. She giggled. Seamus sat up, bright red, and cleared his throat. "Ok... how about... Neville. Truth or Dare?"

"Dare."

Seamus grinned. "Ok, I dare you to end this game so we can all go to bed."

Neville grinned, and Dean slipped an arm around Pavarti's shoulders and escorted her to the entrance to the girls' dorms, then went upstairs to his own bed. The other couples slowly trickled after him.

Harry's hair was still purple.
