Author's Note:
Just a little fluff from the lives of Ron, hermione, Hugo, and Rose.

Ron tightly packed a snowball in his hands and hurled it at Hermione. She turned around and glared at him while rubbing the back of her head. Ron laughed and nodded to a little five-year-old Rose, who nodded back and threw a mini-snowball at Hermione.

"Stop that!" she said with a laugh.

Ron answered loudly, "Give her all you've got, Hugo!"

The boy in question was only one year old, and bundled up very tightly; therefore, he could not move let alone throw a snowball. Ron noticed this quickly and went over to the little infant.

"I think you need some help," he grunted as he lifted Hugo up. Ron picked up a small bit of snow and placed it in Hugo's tiny hands.

"Don't you even think about it, Ron!" shouted Hermione.

Ron smirked and began running towards Hermione, cradling Hugo in his arms.

Hermione ran in the other direction, and she said, "You're going to drop him!"

"No, I'm not! I was a Keeper, wasn't I?" Ron retorted.

Hermione turned around long enough to taunt, "Who said you were good?"

But that was all the time the father and son pair needed to catch up, and soon Hermione was yelping with snow going down her back.

"Good job, Hugo," said Ron to his son.

Hermione carefully took Hugo from his arms and set him safely on the ground after cooing to him. Babies aside, Hermione was able to do what she wanted.

"Geroff me, Hermione!" yelled Ron as Hermione wrestled him in the snow.

As the husband and wife tumbled around on the ground, Rose found a stick on the ground. It was a really nice stick, too; it was so smooth, and no bits of the twig stuck out at odd angles. Oh, it almost looked like it had a handle, and the other end came to such a nice point. Rose recalled her mother and father using a similar stick to make things act for themselves. Then she remembered the snowman they had made earlier that day.

Rose ran as fast as her little legs would carry her to the snowman. With its top hat and carrot nose, the snowman looked very friendly. Rose was about to find out just how friendly he was.

Ron was the only one who noticed Rose wave the wand. "Rose, don't!" he shouted, but it was too late. With a flash of blue light, a cry from Hugo, some shouts from Ron and Hermione, and an excited squeal from Rose, Frosty the snowman was born again.

"Happy birthday!" he said. Ron and Hermione, with Hugo, stood up quickly.

Rose laughed and hugged Frosty by the leg. "Get away from that thing, Rosie!" Ron shouted. Hermione just eyed Frosty warily.

"A thing! Where?" said Frosty as he looked quickly from side to side. Rose laughed again.

Hermione gasped and smiled as she remember the old television show she used to watch with her family. How did that song go?

Frosty the snowman

was a jolly happy soul

with a corn cob pipe and a button nose

and two eyes made out of coal

Frosty the snowman

is a fairy tale they say

He was made of snow

but the children know

how he came to life one day

Hermione chuckled. "What's so funny?" Ron demanded.

"It's just Frosty," she said with a laugh. "But I didn't think he was real."

Ron wasn't paying attention; he was too busy looking for his wand. "Rosie!" called Ron. "Bring Daddy his wand!"

"Go on," nudged Frosty.

Rose walked to her dad, casting sidelong glances at Frosty all the while. She hesitantly gave the wand back to her father, then dashed right back to Frosty.

"Ron, what are you doing?" Hermione asked tiredly.

Ron waved his wand at Frosty, but nothing happened. He tried again with a different spell, but still nothing happened.

"Why won't this thing go away? What is it?" asked Ron angrily.

Hugo began to fuss, and Hermione rocked him as she said, "It's just Frosty, Ron. He's not going to do anything harmful."

"How do you know?" asked Ron. "He could kidnap Rose and Hugo and do away with us to make a clean escape. Then he make them miserable."

Hermione laughed. "He's not going to do anything. He's from a Muggle Christmas show."

Ron peered at the snowman smiling at him. "I dunno. He still looks a bit shifty to me."

Hermione rolled her eyes and watched Rose play with Frosty.

"Come play with me, Rosie!" said Frosty as he dashed around the Weasleys' backyard. Rose laughed and began to chase the snowman around the yard.

Hermione set the now happy Hugo on the ground. She looked to her right to see Ron with a grumpy expression on his face, and she slipped an arm around his waist.

"Don't worry; I'll get rid of him when Rosie and Hugo go to sleep," she whispered.

"Rosie's too trusting," Ron decided. "Did you see how quickly she took to him?"

"She's five, Ron," said Hermione. "She's supposed to be innocent."

Ron sniffed with an air of superiority. Hermione sighed and laid her head on his shoulder and quietly sang, "Frosty the snowman, was a jolly happy soul..."
