And there stood Remus Lupin. "Hello, Sir," said Harry.

"Hi, Harry."

"I'll go pack my trunk right now."

"Do you need any help?"

"Sure."

They went upstairs. As they went Remus said, "They brought me back to Hogwarts to teach Defense Against the Dark Arts.

"I'm coming with my faithful dog, too. Guess who that dog is."

"Sirius," said Harry

"Yep," said Remus. "He's most likely going to stalk you, to make sure that you don't get killed by one of Voldemort's supporters."

Harry nodded. "I guess you're right."

The Professor caught sight of the diary lying on the bookshelf.

"Isn't that Lily's old diary?" Remus asked.

"Yes," and then Harry told Lupin the whole story.

"Wow," was all Remus was able to say.

"You can borrow it and read it if you promise to be careful with it," said Harry.

"Thanks," said Professor Lupin, "Have you read the entire thing?"

"Yes, and I understand everything about the whole Snape and Lily Potter-or should I say Snape- thing. And yes, I know about the whole 'Lily going over to be protected from Voldemort by James thing. I also know that the whole 'Snape hating me' thing is unreal. So is the whole 'Me hating Snape' bit. It's all just one big act. I know it, but Snape doesn't. Do you have any more questions? If so, all the answers are in the diary."

Professor Lupin looked stunned.

"So you really understand why Severus has to pretend to hate you?" Lupin finally asked.

Harry nodded yes.

"I'll try to talk Severus into seeing the truth, that is, if you want me to." Remus offered.

Harry smiled. He said, "The spells making me look like James Potter will wear off soon so he'll have to just accept it. All you really have to do is get him to read the diary."

The Professor nodded and pocketed the diary. Lily's diary.

Harry finished packing and they went downstairs to tell the Dursleys that Harry would be leaving and never coming back.

Who's that, boy?" Asked Vermin-err-Uncle Vermin-sorry-Uncle Vernon (I think I was right the first two times, though).

"Professor Lupin, a teacher at my school."

"Boy, I told you, no freaks in this house, you're bad enough." Vernon said, his face purpling.

"How dare you speak to my best friend's son like that!" Lupin said. "Come on, Harry."

"Where do you think your going?" Vernon asked.

"Back to Hogwarts, not that you'd care. The charms around your house are wearing off so Harry has to leave this place you call a home and never come back," Lupin said coldly.

"Fine then, go on, get out of my house," said Vernon.

Harry and Remus went outside and Remus flagged the Knight Bus.

Stan jumped out and said, "Where to, Sirs?"

"Hogwarts."

Remus gave some gold to Stan, and followed Stan and Harry to the back of the bus.

There were people already there.

A woman of about thirty-nine years old said, "All right, there are new people in here, so we all better introduce ourselves."

"OK," they all said in union.

"Mikaela Rouix."

"Daniel Radcliffe."

"Kaitlyn Cunningham."

"Jennifer O'shaughnesy."

"Scott Millan."

"Makenize Kennady."

"Remus Lupin."

"Harry Potter."

They talked for a while and soon they all became good friends. They were talking in pairs. Harry and Kaitlyn, Daniel and Mikeala, Scott and Jennifer, and Makenize and Remus. Makenize and Remus both appeared to be blushing over something. Scott and Jennifer were talking so softly that you could barely even hear their voices. Daniel and Mikeala seemed to be talking without words. Harry and Kaitlyn were holding hands (they seemed to have gotten to know each ether very well, somehow) and Harry was telling Kaitlyn all about Hogwarts and his (and his friends) adventures (Sorcerer's Stone, Chamber of Secrets, Sirius, and the Tournament).

When they got to Hogwarts, they saw something strange.
