The High Priestess

This chapter mainly introduces the main characters by presenting them with their daily work. Only toward the end, a first hint can be found of what might come next.

Hermione Krum is awakened by her fellow witch Poppy Pomfrey because there is a patient with an unknown illness. This patient turns out Bill Weasley.

Harry's initial plan - tracking back Bill's actions during his journey, is crashed by his own wife. Cho won't accept anything in which her daughter is exposed to some unknown threat. However, Harry's step-brother Ron has the right idea, and after some checks, it seems as if the origin of this somthing can be located in an older Crusader castle.

Rahewa Lightfoot, goddaughter of Harry and godmother of Harry and Cho's daugther Sandra, is waiting in Hogwarts until it's time to join them at a Californian breakfast table. As it turns out, this waiting time suddenly changes quite dramatically.

With the help of his snake Nagini and his friend Tony, Harry can track the origin of the fever down to a specific place in the crusader castle. This done, he searches for help, to close the castle toward wizards until the source is located. Yes, he gets some help, only the help turns out not helpful at all, that's why Harry helps himself. But this is something he shouldn't have done.

Cho works on her problem with the missing CEO for Groucho Biochemicals, and as it seems, she is quite successful in her quest. Harry, meanwhile, entertains himself and his daughter by carrying a female sergeant around. With portkeys, of course. And when this sergeant carries Nagini around for a moment, Harry learns something as new as disquieting.

People meet at Groucho Biochemical. What was planned for something else becomes a kick-off meeting for a task: to find a cure that heals the victims of the spreading wizard fever. In this meeting and planning, a young potions wizard suddenly finds himself in a center position, although not by accident. And as a side-effect from that, he finds himself next day in a very special kind of conversation.

Harry visits Hogwarts - less for the school, more for the Forbidden Forest and the creatures found in there. One of them is Firenze, Harry's Centaur friend, who might help Harry in finding a unicorn from which some blood can be taken.

The united forces of three potions experts - two witches and a wizard - work in a frenzy to find the mistake in the potion which killed the first candidate. When it seems as if another test would make sense, Harry and Viktor jump to Bulgaria, in search for another wizard fever patient. With little success, as it turns out. However, they find something else.

Hermione and Clemens get the opportunity to test their modified potion with another patient. The only problem - the new patient is Viktor.

Harry prepares for the next encounter with the High Priestess, while at the same time checking around for her. Harry's friend Tony suggests to ask the Goblins for help, an idea to which Harry agrees only hesitantly.

Harry appears in front of the Goblin Council to claim his request. He doesn't get an answer immediately; however, things look promising.

Harry meets Sirius in his godfather's office, to examine a very mysterious scribbling and a very unclear memory of a visitor. However, shortly afterwards, Harry meets this visitor by himself: the High Priestes.

Harry visits people - Cho first, the High Priestess then, other people afterwards. And finally, after they all agreed that his plan is acceptable, despite its breathtaking dimensions, Harry visits the Goblins again.

The great conspiracy takes shape. Cho gathers the insiders to a kick-off meeting, thereby giving some people the opportunity to kick off other projects.

This is the last chapter. Some people meet some other people, talk with them, take decisions, receive some letter, report some news - tying up some loose ends and providing an outlook toward what will come. After all - this fic might end here, while the story of our heroes will continue in 'Presents from the Past'.
