The sound of roller coasters and the smell of candy cane filled the air as Ginny opened her eyes. She was sitting on a green park bench but she was no longer wearing her Hogwarts robes.

Instead, she had a light pink tank top with white jeans. Her footwear was now pink diesel shoes and the top of her beautiful red hair was clipped back with matching white barrettes, leaving the side of her hair loosely sitting on he shoulders.

"Oh dear God!" thought Ginny in horror. "I look like Mary Sue from Perfect World!"

Standing in front of her was a boy with familiar gray eyes and blonde hair. He too was wearing something that he did not feel like wearing. He had a man's white tank top with blue jeans and a navy blue short-sleeved vest. His blonde hair had a messy/spiky hairdo.

"The people who designed these outfits should really go to Hell," the blonde haired boy murmured slyly.

"What's his name again?" thought Ginny curiously. Then it suddenly came to her. "Draco Malfoy is his name, but who is he?"

Ginny could not remember who Draco Malfoy was.

"Don't worry your head about who I am," replied Draco as if he had read her mind. "It's a spell and no matter what we won't remember who we are now or when we're back at school."

She studied him again for about two seconds and finally she decided not to worry about who he was and enjoy their date while it lasted.

"I agree but we should make the best of it!" said Ginny optimistically.

Draco did not answer.

"Come on!" she said cheerfully taking his hand. "Let's go on the biggest, fastest roller coaster they have here!"

Ginny did not notice that Draco had turned a slight shade of green when she had mentioned roller coaster. Though he still let Ginny tug him towards a roller coaster with the name "THE DRAGON" printed on its front.

"Great," thought Draco as he climbed the stairs to the roller coaster. "A roller coaster named after me and I'll probably throw up all over it and Ginny!"

After two minutes both Draco and Ginny were settled in the very front seat of The Dragon. Ginny seemed to be bursting in energy and Draco just seemed to grow greener by the minute.

There was a sudden jolt as the roller coaster started moving. It turned narrowly and started climbing up with an uncomforting noise.

"Ginny," said Draco uneasily as the roller coaster climbed higher and higher. "I'm not very good with rollers coasters..."

"What do you mean?" asked Ginny in concern as she turned to him.

"When I was ten," he began. "I went to Merlin's Happy Land and I went on the biggest roller coaster there were. And I er- well... I threw up on it and ever since I haven't been on a roller coaster."

"And your afraid you'll throw up this time?" teased Ginny.

"Er- I'm positive I will," squirmed Draco as he could now see the whole amusement park.

"Well it's too late now!" cried Ginny as the roller coaster reached the top. "BECAUSE HERE WE GO!"

"Great..." murmured Draco as the roller coaster slid down.

Harry questioned himself whether or not he should show the book to Madam Pince since it did not appear to be from Hogwarts' collection.

"If I turn it in," he thought to himself. "She will certainly not give it back to me and I will not be able to read whatever it has waiting for me inside it."

He opened the book trembling. The writing was not like any other books' writing. It was an old writing like that of the time of the Founding of Hogwarts.

The book was in a state of a diary. Its pages were dated. Harry, having not much luck in his past with diaries thought twice if he should read it. He finally persuaded himself to continue and he did.

A prophecy has been stated. The heir of Godric Gryffindor shall defeat the heir of Salazar Slytherin though how he got his victory, he will not know for it is a mystery to all. The heir of Salazar Slytherin will flee and for 11 years he shall wait until trying to kill the heir of Godric Gryffindor once again. He will fail doing it for the next 7 years but shall murder countless innocent souls.

On the night of when the heir of Godric Gryffindor will defeat the heir of Salazar Slytherin, many qualities will be exchange. Only one default will be given to the heir of Godric Gryffindor. The horrible burden to not have a love freely only by stealing from another. He shall carry this terrible gift for the rest of his life and he shall live a lonely life if he does not steal a love for himself.

Harry stared at the first page in disbelief. He could hardly imagine what he had just read. He quickly turned the page to see what else they had to say about him. There was not much except of how his life would turn out in the next 7 years of his life. There led nothing about his life after Hogwarts or if he'd ever have a girlfriend. It only mentioned the brief moment between him and Cho Chang in his sixth year.

"Why doesn't it say anything after that?" thought Harry suspiciously. "Maybe I should talk about this with Hermione and Ron."

He quickly shoved the small book in his school bag and returned the rest of the books to Madam Pince, thanking her as he left the library in a hurry.

Ron and Seamus were deeply immersed in a Wizard Chess Game and they had been playing for the past two hours.

Both were so concentrated in beating the other that even if the Common Room were on fire, they wouldn't leave until the game was finished.

Hermione exceptionally bored at watching Ron and Seamus not even blinking as they concentrated hard on the chess pieces, sat in an armchair, her face cupped in her hands.

Suddenly there was a loud thump as a sweaty Harry came into the Common Room panting and grasping for air.

"Harry!" cried Hermione as she hurried to the tired boy. "Were you running a marathon before the game or what?"

"N-oo," gasped Harry as he slumped in a chair. "I H-had to show you a b-book."

Hermione's eyebrows rose at the last word that had escaped Harry's mouth.

"Book?" she repeated. "You came running to show me a book?"

"Not just an ordinary book," replied Harry as he had now regained his breath. "It's not even registered and it says things about my life that no one knows."

"Let me see it," said Hermione as Harry handed her the ancient book. She bit her lower lip and frowned as she read the first page and quickly schemed the rest.

"Harry," she began after a long pause of silent. "This is the first book that I don't quite understand."

"So you don't know what the first page means?" asked Harry with extreme disappointment.

"Of course I know what the first page means!" cried Hermione. "What I don't understand is how this person or people knew all of this was going to happen and how come we've never seen this book anywhere else?"

"Oh," was what Harry simply said. "What does the first page mean?"

"Well Harry," began Hermione as she looked at him straight in the eye. "It basically means that you won't be able to have the girl you want until you steal her from somebody's boyfriend not purposely of course. Remember Cho? You didn't exactly steal her but if Cedric hadn't died you would have never gone out with her."

Hearing Cedric's name was painful for Harry. When Harry had been in his fifth year, he had nightmares of seeing Cedric dead. So white and so cold looking, his glassy eyes wide opened. Harry shivered at the horrible thought.

Thank goodness Rita Skeeters was still locked away in Hermione's jar and she hadn't been able to compose any rumors about him since the fourth year.

"Why is that?" asked Harry quizzically. "Why can't I have a girl who falls in love with me without being involved with someone already!"

"I don't know Harry," Hermione said which was a phrase she didn't use very often. "Wait there's more!"

Behind the first page was another paragraph that Harry had not seen.

January 16, 994

There will be another Heir to Slytherin after the great one who did not defeat the Natural Heir of Gryffindor. The New Heir of Slytherin shall take someone of valuable worth from the Heir of Gryffindor and others who cherish it. The Heir of Slytherin will have to choose between the path of righteousness and the path of wrongness and if he chooses to take the path that is in his heart, he shall keep his treasure.

"This book just keeps on getting more complicated as we read it," said Harry in amazement.

"You shouldn't be pounding your head with this while there's the first Quidditch Game of the Year coming up!" scolded Hermione very abruptly that it startled Harry. "You should be getting ready and reviewing the plan with your team mates not figuring out what someone wrote a thousand years ago!"

"Hermione," said Harry flabbergasted. "Why such the lecture without warning?"

"It just popped into my mind," replied Hermione. "I know you too well Harry and if something bothers you and you don't know the answer, you'll be stuck with it until you do get it. We can't have you distracted today especially since the other team is Slytherin. Plus there's nothing more we can do here."

A grin crept on Harry's face. Good old Hermione.

"Thanks," he replied. "I'll go get ready."

"Good," she said as she put the book in her book bag. "I'll do a bit of research and I might be able to find out who wrote this."

They said their good byes and left in separate directions.

After the exhilarating roller coaster ride, Draco had managed to keep his breakfast down. Though he did look dreadful. Ginny felt guilty for not listening to Draco earlier.

"Why don't we sit down?" asked Ginny as Draco nodded. They seated themselves near a stand.

"Oh I'm sorry that I brought you on that ride," said Ginny with guilty eyes that were looking down on the ground instead of at Draco.

Draco took hold of Ginny's delicate hand.

"This is not your fault," he said firmly as Ginny looked up at him. "Plus the stand beside us, if you haven't noticed, sells Anti-Nausea Potions. I'll get one and then we can continue enjoying ourselves."

Ginny smiled shyly as Draco got himself a potion. Five minutes later, Draco was no longer a shade of green and had returned to his old self.

"How about I choose the next ride?" said Draco, as his expression was as sly as a fox.

"Okay," replied Ginny uncertainly.

Though Ginny thought that he might choose something horrifying like the Haunted House on the contrary he had chosen some sort of boat ride in the water called Twister. It wasn't as fast or dangerous as the Dragon but it still held fun.

After the Twister ride, Draco convinced Ginny into going with him in the Haunted House with a reassuring arm around her.

Ginny felt safe and the Haunted House wasn't like the one she had been when she was in her third year with Fred and George. Of course Fred and George always made things seem more frightening than they appeared.

Waiting after the Haunted House was a cotton candy treat, Ginny's favorite snack at Amusement Parks.

"The date's almost over," announced Draco as he glanced at his silver watch.

"We do have time to do one more ride," replied Ginny. "But we can't do anything fast because that might upset our stomachs."

"How about the Ferris Wheel?" suggested Draco after a moment of thinking.

"Good idea," agreed Ginny.

Both were snuggled in the seat of the Ferris Wheel and it slowly began turning upwards.

"You know," said Ginny suddenly. "In books, the couples usually come on Ferris Wheels at the end of their dates and when they reach the top, they share a kiss."

"Really now," said Draco smirking. "Isn't that fascinating?"

"You planned this out didn't you!" cried Ginny with a smile as she pushed Draco.

"Hey I didn't say anything about trashy romance books having to do with our date ending!" replied Draco innocently as their seat stopped at the very top of the Ferris Wheel. "I just want to ask you one thing."

"What is it?"

"Will you kiss me?"

It didn't even have to be asked before Ginny felt Draco's lips against hers in a tender and reassuring way.

The sight of them both kissing at the top of the Ferris Wheel did look like a scene out of a trashy romance book as Draco put it, but neither of them cared how or what they resembled. All they cared about were each other and as the alarm rang to announce the end of the date, they pulled away from each other and smiled as if saying, I'll be seeing you in a while.

"Everyone here?" called out Harry as he nervously paced up and down the Gryffindor Common Room looking at his fellow team members.

"No Ginny's not there!"

"Here I am!" echoed Ginny's voice as she ran down the stairs arranged her Quidditch Robes.

Harry looked relieved.

"Good," he said as everyone gathered at his sides. "Now I'm going to give everyone the advice Olivier Wood gave me on my second year at Hogwarts. Get the Quaffle, Hit those Bludgers and block the Hoops or die trying."

"Harry, when Olivier said that your arm was crushed by an attacking bludger," remarked Ron, as the other team member's eyes grew as huge as tennis balls.

"It doesn't matter how badly I was hurt, I still caught the Snitch and we won the game!" gloried Harry. "My point is, bones can be healed but the snickering glares of those bloody Slytherins will never be erased in our minds and our hearts."

"Harry we're playing Quidditch not reciting poetry," pointed out Seamus dully as the other players nodded their heads.

"Right, just do your best ok?"

"We always do!" piped up Colin and Harry grinned at his other members.

"Now get out there!"

All five boys and two girls left the Gryffindor Common Room with their heads up high.

"Attention all players!" rang out Madame Hoach's voice through out the Quidditch Field that was roofed with a gloomy sky. It looked as if it might rain. "I want a nice and clean game."

Her whistle blew as all fourteen people kicked off their broomsticks and soared high in the air.

Ginny ducked a bludger as Seamus passed her the Quaffle. She dodged the other Chasers, Blaise Zabini, Pansy Parkinson and a fifth year called Jessica Lope as she threw the Quaffle with all her might as flew past Malcolm Baddock, the Keeper and through the middle Hoop.

The crowd roared as Ginny slapped Seamus and Colin a high five. She could feel the Slytherin's cold stares pierce right through her back as she flew on the other side of the field.

As Harry was clapping for Ginny, he did not realize that a bludger was heading right towards him. Just as his eyes met the flying bludger, Dean Thomas stepped in the way and swung it towards Draco Malfoy.

Draco moved out of the way just in time and glared at Dean.

Suddenly an icy rain started pouring from the sky and soaked everyone to their skins. It was hard to see anything except a blur of red and green.

Ginny squinted and tried to see Seamus and Colin with the Quaffle. She could not see anything through the thick sheet of rain. The next thing she felt, apart from the cold rain was something hitting her wrist. There was a cracking sound as Ginny fell over forgetting to hold on to her broom as she did.

A hand sprung out of the rain and grabbed Ginny's other wrist. Ginny looked up weakly. The hand belonged to the wet figure of Draco Malfoy.

"Malfoy?" Ginny asked faintly.

"Weasely," was what he replied loudly so that Ginny could hear him. "Can you take hold of your broom and fly down?"

"I think so."

Ginny climbed on her broom steadily with Draco's help. No sooner did they hear Madame Hoach's whistle telling everyone that the game was over. Harry had caught the Snitch. Gryffindor had won.
