Harry Potter and the Sacred Jewel Shards
Jumping Girl, Falling Ron
"Potter as spotted the snitch," the announcer said. "He's after it. Will he catch it, or will
Kobayashi take the win. Kobayashi has the snitch, no wait... It's too fast for her. Potter falling behind, Kobayashi almost has it. Potter is gaining speed, will he catch the snitch. And what's this... Potter has caught the snitch. He came out of nowhere" the announcer gasped for breath. "The Tutshill Tornados won against Toyashi Tengu 340-200"
The 2 and a half hour match was finally over. Ron stayed behind cleaning; putting the Quidditch balls and the rest of the teams gear away. It was Ron's job to make sure all of the team's gear is in its rightful place. He is The Tutshill Tornados caretaker, it wasn't the world's greatest job but it paid decently.
After Harry changed from his uniform, he walked over to Ron who was waiting for him outside the changing rooms.
"Harry, that was a hell of a game," Ron complimented.
"I'm so tired," Harry said. Related characters
"Harry, you're still coming, right?"
"I could do with a few drinks." Ron felt the same way.
"Where's Hermione?" Harry asked.
"Who? Oh yeah, her. You were taking to long, so she left to get ready for tonight."
"Oh, really."
"Harry, that was a wonderful game," Hermione said giving him hug.
"Ron, it's nice to see you."
"Yes Hermione, it's the thrill of my day meeting with you," Ron said with a disgusted look.
Hermione and Ron both stared at each other for a few moments.
"Well, shall we have a drink?" Harry said, breaking the silence.
"Yes, we should," Ron, said, turning away from Hermione.
Harry joined his teammates and talked about the match. Ron sat at the bar drinking cocktails. He always wondered how their friendship survived after Hermione and his three break-ups. Somehow they managed to stick together.
Something caught Ron's eye. It was Hermione flirting with Adam Troy, the Tutshill Tornados captain. He was furious.
"Hermione, can I speak to you outside?" Ron asked impatiently.
"Alright," Hermione said, and she quickly followed Ron outside.
"What do you want?" Hermione asked.
"I can't believe you," Ron said.
"You can't believe what?"
"You and the captain."
"We were just talking."
"About what?"
"It's none of your business, Ron."
"I'm going back to the hotel."
"Ron, are you jealous?"
"Jealous of what?"
"Adam and me."
"Hermione, I have no feelings towards you." Ron turned away and left for the hotel.
Next day...
"Where's Ron?" Hermione asked impatiently.
"I don't know, maybe he got lost or something," Harry answered.
"I gave him directions."
"Well, maybe they weren't that great, Hermione." Hermione glared at Harry for his comment. He gave a slight smirk.
"Look, there he is, Hermione."
Ron came back with a few shopping bags.
"What happened to you?" Hermione said.
"Well, I kind of got lost."
"Ron, I gave you exact directions."
"Well, I thought I had to take a train."
"I would've said take a train."
"I've gotten everyone gifts, on way the here I came across some souvenir shops," he said handing out the gifts. The shirts he bought stated Meet me in Osaka and I love Tokyo.
"Wow Ron, you are so kind," Hermione said shoving the shirt in her bag.
"This is a lovely restaurant isn't, Harry?" Ron said pretending to ignore her.
"Yeah, Ron it is," Harry said still reading his paper.
"I'm hungry, what did you order us, Hermione?" Ron asked.
"What makes you think I order you anything, and after last night, you are very lucky that I'm a nice person or you would starve," Hermione said crossing her arms and looking away.
"I wouldn't say that," Ron said quietly. He knew why Hermione was angry. He was trying to make last night's row look like it was her fault.
"Hermione, you know last night was not my fault," Ron snapped.
"What?" Hermione said looking startled at his comment as she was reading a guide book to Tokyo.
"You heard me," he said standing up. Everyone on the patio was starting to stare at them.
"Sorry," Hermione apologized to the guests. "Ron please, shut up, you know last night had nothing to do with Adam and me. It's about you and your jealousy. Now can we please drop it, you're starting to cause a scene," she hissed.
"I'm not jealous! I'm trying to save you from an incident like Harry's."
Harry held his paper closer to his face.
"What incident?" Hermione asked.
"The time when Harry hooked up with some guy's girlfriend, you remember, don't you," Ron said looking at Harry, now his face was turning a light shade of pink. "I'm just saying that because I thought the captain had a girlfriend."
"You are so stupid; sometimes I wonder how I put up with you"
"Well, at least I'm not a boyfriend stealer, I going for a walk," he said storming off.
Hermione sat back down and ate her noodles.
"He's such a prat," she said under her breath.
"Um, Hermione, maybe you shouldn't have called Ron dumb, he has a bit of an ego" Harry informed her,
"I called him stupid," she corrected him. Hermione spotted Ron's maps on the table.
"I should give this to him before he gets lost," Hermione said.
"Okay," Harry said as her waved to her, his eyes still glued.
Meanwhile...
Ron was lost again.
"Bloody hell, where am I?" Ron muttered. "I forgot my maps, this is all Hermione's fault."
After walking for a while, he came across an interesting looking place, it looked much different then the rest of the area, and a very noticeable long stairway. After reaching the top of the stairway, Ron, notice a young girl, running with a very large bag. Soon, she entered an old shed. Ron curious to know what she was doing, he followed her. Moreover, interested to know what was so fascinating about an old shed.
He peaked in and saw the young girl jump into the well. His eyes widen in disbelief. He ran into the old shed and over to the old well to see if the young girl was still alive. When he reached the edge he felt himself being pulled into the well. This was it, the end. Ron was sure that he was falling to his death.
Hermione saw Ron walk up an old stairway and what looked like an old building. She followed him so she could give him his maps. After she reached the top of the steps she saw him run into an old shed
"Why is he always getting himself into trouble," Hermione muttered.
He must have seen or heard something coming from there. Hermione went after him. As soon as she reached the shed, she saw a glimpse of the top of Ron's kicks enter the old well.
