"You're such a prat!"

"Yeah? Well you're an idiot!"

"Oh, please, is that the best you can come up with?"
Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley were having a "creative discussion". It all started on a rainy day. Rainy days can be very "moody" days, also. Ginny was in a very bad mood, and she let it all out on her boyfriend, Harry. Then Harry got really mad, so they just kept going at each other's throats.

"You know what, Gin? I have enough shit to deal with in my life, and I don't need anymore from you!"

"This whole damn thing isn't even my fault!"

"Then why did you let your anger out on me?"

"I told you, I was in one of my moods!"

"Then you must have your "moods" a lot, cause you yell at me a lot,"

"Where did that ridiculous idea come from?"

"You!"

"I don't know what I saw in you, Potter,"

Just then, Ron walked in on their argument.

"Hey," he said.

"GET OUT!" they both shouted.

"Ok, fine, but don't do anything I wouldn't like in here," and he walked away.

Right, like they'd listen to him.

Harry couldn't take it anymore. He whipped out his wand. Ginny did the same.

"Stupefy!" they yelled at the same time.

The curses shot in the air and met. Harry and Ginny's wands vibrated. Harry thought he was lifted off his feet and soaring towards Ginny. Their curses went away and they both fell to the ground.

"What the hell was that for?" Harry yelled angrily.

"You did it, too!"

Harry didn't feel like himself. He was wearing...a skirt? He felt his hair. It was longer than his normal hair and flaming red. And his chest, it was bigger than normal. Harry was...

"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!" they both screamed.

"Why are you in my body? Give it back!" Ginny demanded.

"You think I can just give it back? I didn't do this on purpose! Our wands must've made us like this," Harry kept looking at his chest.

"Would you stop starting at that?" Ginny yelled.

"It's not every day I have these things, you know!" Harry glared at her. Well, at his body. Ginny was combing down Harry's hair with her fingers on her head.

"What are you doing?"

"It's so messy looking. I gotta make it look nice if I have to wear it," she sneered.

"It's fine just the way it is!"

"Ok, hold up," Ginny told him. "Until we have all this straightened out, we have to act like each other,"

"Er...right, and let's not tell Ron and Hermione yet,"

"Agreed...let's go down to dinner," Ginny walked to the portrait hole.

"Stop swinging your hips! I don't do that!" Harry gritted his teeth.

"God, sorry," Ginny said sarcastically.

They managed to get to the Great Hall with only three arguments. That was a record ever since they started fighting.

They both sat down across from Ron and Hermione.

"Hey, what were you two doing up there for so long?" Hermione asked them.

"We didn't switch bodies, if that's what you're thinking," Ginny said. Harry kicked her hard under the table.

"OW!" she cried.

Ron and Hermione glanced at them suspiciously.

"You ok, mate?" Ron glanced at Ginny.

"What did you say?"

"I said, 'you ok mate', is that bad or something?" Ron asked.

"No...and yes, I'm fine," Ginny fiddled with her spoon. She put her hand to her forehead and felt a scratch mark.

"What's that?" she asked, rubbing it.

"It's your scar," Harry said.

"Oh, right,"

Harry sighed and put his head in his hands. Ginny's skin was always so soft. He liked it. He smelled her hair. It was his favorite shampoo she used, watermelon.

"Harry!" Ginny whispered hastily. Harry snapped back to reality.

"What are you doing?"

"Nothing," he whispered back.

Ron and Hermione both stared at them like they were both the most absurd people they have ever met.

"You both are acting very...odd tonight," Hermione raised her eyebrows.

"Really? Hmmm, haven't noticed," Harry put his elbow on the table.

"Off the table!" Ginny whispered. Harry put his elbow in his lap.

"So...have you two quit fighting yet?" Hermione asked.

"Um..." Harry started.

"Of course we didn't!" Ginny cut in. "Who would make up, or rather, go out, with such a stupid jerk!"

"So does that mean..." Ron started.

"Hell yeah we're through!" Ginny said fiercely. Almost all of the Great Hall turned to look at her. Ginny then ran out of the hall.

Ron and Hermione stared at Harry. He got up, too.

"Uh, best see that she doesn't get into trouble," he ran after her.

"Did she say, "she"? Ron turned to Hermione. Hermione nodded.

Harry found Ginny in the Gryffindor common room. Everyone was still at dinner, so it was deserted.

"What were you thinking, you freak!" he exploded. "Ron and Hermione are on our tail!"

"Well, they're going to find out sooner or later, aren't they?" Ginny said through gritted teeth.

"You didn't have to announce it to the whole damn school!"

"I had to make my point somehow!"

"So now we're through..." Harry calmed down.

Ginny sighed, "Yes, Potter, we're through," Harry could already feel an emptiness forming in his heart.

"But what about all those years you liked me?"

"I was young and foolish. Who wants to be with the famous Harry Potter for the rest of their lives?"

"Lots of girls would love to be in your shoes, Ginny!"

"Like you are right now?"

"Fine! Fine! You know what? I don't have time for this! I don't need you!" Harry glared at her. "So you can just go ahead and be with your beloved Dean again!" Harry's voice got louder. He started to walk toward the portrait hole. Ginny gave him a hatred look.

Meanwhile, Hermione was talking to Ron about Harry and Ginny.

"Ron! It all fits! Harry forgetting there's a scar on his head, Ginny smelling her own hair, Ginny always looking at her chest, them whispering to each other!" Hermione numbered the events on her fingers.

"What? I don't get it," Ron complained.

Hermione rolled her eyes and said, "Ron, Harry and Ginny switched bodies!"

Ron spit out his pumpkin juice and coughed, "What?"

"That's why they were acting odd! They're not used to being each other!"

"Right..."

"They're probably in the common room! Let's go!" Hermione grabbed Ron by the wrist and they exited the Great Hall.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Hermione stood in front of Harry before he had a chance to get out of the portrait hole.

"You two aren't going anywhere," she dragged Harry and Ginny to a seat. Ron came in.

"We know what's going on," Ron folded his arms.

"I don't know what you're talking about," Ginny folded her arms, too.

"Don't play stupid, Ginny," Hermione smiled at her.

"I'm not Ginny...I'm,"

"You're not Harry," Ron jerked his head toward Ginny's body. "He is,"

Harry gaped. "How did you find out?"

"How often do you stare at your chest, Harry?" Hermione smirked.

"Oh..." Harry blushed.

"So how did this start?" Ron demanded.

"Well, Harry and I got carried away arguing, so we tried to hex each other,"

"Ginny! How could you?" Ginny ignored Ron and continued.

"Then our wands vibrated and we both felt like we were floating into each other's bodies,"

"Maybe if you do the same thing again," Hermione thought, "you'd switch back,"

"I'm not gonna let my sister and best friend hex each other again!" Ron spat.

"Honestly Ron, do you really want Harry as your sister?"

"No, not as a sister, but maybe a brother,"

Hermione sighed and said, "Ok, do exactly what you did earlier,"

Harry and Ginny stood in the same position, wands ready.

"On the count of three..." Harry said. "One, two, three!"

"Stupefy!" They were both knocked off their feet and slammed into the wall. Ron and Hermione rushed to help them.

"Did it work?" Ron asked.

"Yes, it did," Ginny said, "Thanks Hermione,"

"I'm glad it did, now let's go to bed, I'm tired," Ron and Hermione went to the dormitories. Harry and Ginny stayed behind.

"What the hell was that for?" Harry rounded on her. "We're still in each other's bodies!"

"I know, I just wanted to be in the boy's dormitories tonight," Ginny grinned.

Harry rolled his eyes. "Fine, but if anything goes weird tonight, I swear..."

"Yeah, yeah, ok..." They went their separate ways. Harry reached the "fifth year" girl's door. He gulped and walked in.

Thank God, Harry sighed. No one's here yet.

He climbed into the four-poster. He wasn't sure if he wanted to change or not. He looked around and spotted Ginny's diary. Smirking, he reached for it. He muttered, Lumos to his wand, and started to read.

25th, December

It is finally Christmas. Dean tried to catch me under mistletoe, but I smacked him in the face. Serves him right for breaking up with me. But I did manage to snog Harry under it, like I promised to. Oh, it was so sweet. His lips are so nice. I actually got my tongue in his mouth. I never wanted to let go. I kept my arms wrapped around him until he had to pry himself away from me. Hermione gave me another book as a present, big surprise there, but Harry gave me a cute bear that says Happy Christmas on it. I will cherish it always. I gotta go, Ron's yelling to get my butt down there now.

Harry flipped a couple pages.

16th January

Harry and I are still arguing. I kind of miss it when we liked each other. But he made a big deal out of something so little. He is a jerk...right? Snape landed another huge essay. How does he have the time to grade all of them anyway? The devil!

Harry turned to the most recent one she wrote.

30th January

I miss kissing Harry. I miss anything good about Harry. I'm afraid that if I tell him the truth, I'll be turning myself in and he'll think I couldn't handle another day without him. I should be lucky that I have him, I mean, I had a crush on him ever since I saw him at King's Cross and many other girls would want to date Harry, I'm sure. Ugh, I don't know what to do!

Harry read enough. He threw it against the wall. Harry, Harry, Harry. Am I all the hell she thinks about? he thought angrily.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

At the same time, Ginny was looking around anxiously at the sixth year boy's dormitories. Ron was already snoring like a pig.

Ugh, Ginny thought. How can Harry stand that?

The empty bed next to Ron's must be Harry's. She closed the curtains around it and took off her robes. She put his pajama pants on, and just sat there with no shirt on. She looked at his chest. It was so handsome. It looked like he never ate much, but still. She wrapped her arms around herself and fell on the pillow. She sniffed the pillow. It smelled like Harry's hair, such a good smell. She fell asleep, still having her hands around herself.

That night, Harry had a dream. There was a woman and a man, walking together along a lake, holding hands.

"After that fight we had, I realized that I only wanted you more," the woman sighed.

"Yeah, that was a stupid fight and I'm sorry for starting it," the man apologized.

"Oh, that's ok. I'll try not to push my anger on you any more, no matter how mad I am," the woman walked closer to him.

"I'm glad," the man grinned and he brought her into a loving, passionate kiss. He then knelt down and said,

"Will you marry me?"

The woman squealed and said "yes" many times. She looked at her ring finger and they kissed again.

"I really love you, you know,"

"Ginny!"

Harry opened his eyes. It was Ginny's friend, Jules.

"Um...you're diary was the whole way across the room," she handed it to him.

"Thanks..." he put it back on Ginny's nightstand.

"Anyways, I'm putting green eye shadow on to impress Harry cause it matches his eye color. Think he'll go for it?"

"Oh...yeah..." Harry mumbled.

"Look," she said. "I know you're upset about the break-up, but you just made the wrong choice in guys. Trust me, I'm a lot better off with Harry," she patted him on the shoulder and went to put on her make-up.

Ha! Like I'd ever date you! Harry thought. He pulled the curtains closed and closed his eyes as he pulled new robes on. He headed downstairs.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Ginny got up. Everything looked blurry. Oh yeah, I need glasses. She put them on and pulled away the curtains. There was Ron, standing in his boxers. Ginny gaped. She definitely didn't need to see that.

"Oi, Harry! Glad you're your old self again. Imagine if it was my sister that was in here. Ha!"

"Ha, yeah, funny," Ginny pulled the curtains closed and put on her robes. She took one last whiff of Harry's surroundings before going downstairs.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Harry and Ginny met down in the common room. They looked at each other, then Harry asked, "So, have a nice night?"

"It was...different,"

"Well, of course," Harry smiled a little.

"Um, we should really change back," Ginny looked away from him.

"How do we do that?"

"I dunno...think of something,"

Think... "Ginny, that's it!"

"What's it?"

"We should think the spell instead of saying it!"

Ginny shrugged. "It's worth a shot," she pointed a warning finger at him, "And don't think that we'll be together afterwards!"

They got in their positions and both thought Stupefy in their heads. Their wands vibrated again and both felt like they were going into the other body. They both fell to the ground.

"Did it work?"

"Of course it did, I'm back where I'm supposed to be!"

Harry laughed. He then ran up to her and placed a big kiss on her lips. Ginny gave it back. When they broke away, Harry said, "You missed that, didn't you?"

"How did you..." Ginny started, and then said, "You read my diary!"

Harry chuckled. "I couldn't help it,"

Ginny hit him playfully on the shoulder. "You weasel!" Ginny glanced at him. "Did you look while you were changing?"

"No!" Harry almost yelled. "I kept my eyes shut...did you look?"

"That's disgusting! Of course not!" They both stared at each other, though, thinking the other was lying.

"Jules talked to me," Harry finally spoke.

"What did she say?"

"I know you're upset about the break-up, but you just made the wrong choice in guys. Trust me, I'm a lot better off with Harry," Harry said in a girly voice.

Ginny had to laugh a little. "She always fancied you. But never quite got there,"

"Ok, you found out I read your diary, what did you do last night?" Harry grinned.

"Uh..." Ginny wasn't about to tell him that she was hugging herself and smelling his pillow. "I...went right to sleep,"

"You could've done that in the girl's," Harry accused her. "What did you do?"

"I'm not telling you! You'll think I'm a freak!"

"Like you're not already?" Harry laughed.

"Oh, shut up, Potter!"

Harry brought her over to him and he kissed her tenderly.

"Ok, ok, I'll tell you!" Ginny started. "I...um...I sniffed your pillow cause I liked the smell, and I hugged your body,"

"So you can't get enough of me, can you?" Harry grinned.

Ginny glared at him, then sighed and said,

"After that fight we had, I realized that I only wanted you more,"

"Yeah, that was a stupid fight and I'm sorry for starting it," Harry apologized.

"Oh, that's ok. I'll try not to push my anger on you any more, no matter how mad I am," Ginny walked closer to him.

"I'm glad," Harry grinned and he brought her into a loving, passionate kiss.

"Wait," Harry thought, after they broke apart. "This was just like my dream last night,"

"Your dream?" Ginny asked.

"Yeah, the woman and man said the exact same thing we just did but...." Harry trailed off.

"But what?"

"But then the man proposed," Harry finished.

"Oh," Ginny blushed. "Well, I do want to be your girlfriend again,"

"Oh, well since you broke up with me, I already got back together with Cho," Harry said.

Ginny's eyes grew wide.

"Kidding, I'm kidding, why would I have kissed you then?" Harry gave her a hug.

"So, can we be together again?" Ginny asked hopefully.

"Of course," Harry gave another smile and kissed her.
