- This is the story of Harry's sixth year at Hogwarts, and the entire year is covered. Harry spends a lot of time with the Weasleys over the summer, meets a wizard recently returned from exile-with a very bad reputation, goes to Bill and Fleur's wedding and watches a civil war developing -- then he gets to school! Lots of new spells, new enemies, rescues, new mysteries, Ron/Hermione, and several large battles in the war are covered.`` The story is completed and around 700 pages, including illustations. I'll post chapters as they pass through the final editing process.
This is the story of Harry's sixth year at Hogwarts, and his meeting of a character that was conceived of as a flawed Dumbledore.
Chapter 3, Mars delivers Harry to the Burrow, but Mrs. Weasley doesn't seem too happy with the tall wizard at all. Harry wonders why she dislikes Mars, but not for long, he is just happy to free of Privet Drive.
Chapter 5, OWL results. Hermione joins Harry and the Weasleys at the burrow. Letters from Hogwarts arrive with all kinds of surpises inside.
Chapter 7, Mars and the Order. The Order of the Phoenix rejected Mars' from its membership, but they still seek his intelligence report. However, something awful happens and Mars withholds information from them. Harry, Ginny, Hermione and Ron are drawn into the spat.
Chapter 9, Going to the Chapel. Bill and Fleur get married at Hogwarts. Harry, Ron and Mars try to make peace with the centaurs, but where is Hagrid?

08/09/2004Chapter 11- The New Defense Against the Dark Arts Teacher. Harry finally arrives at Hogwarts, and all three of his companions are in foul moods. Their moods sour even more after an encounter with Peeves. Nothing, however, compares to the horror of seeing Jo Anne Lennon chatting with Dumbledore!

08/09/2004Chapter 13 – Old Friends. When Mars teases Harry about his developing feelings for Ginny, Harry gets upset and leaves for break in a huff. Hermione and Ron catch up to him but they run into Malfoy who calls Hermione the “M” word. Mars overhears the slur and is not happy at all with Draco.

08/09/2004Chapter 15 – The Spy Who Loathed Me. Snape’s accusations have Ginny and Hermione at each other’s throats. When the four teenagers inform Mars of the charges, he invites them to a meeting that evening with Snape and Dumbledore to settle the affair. At the meeting Mars “explains” a few things to Snape.

08/09/2004Chapter 17 – Hermione’s Very Bad Week. Harry returns the Gryffindor Common Room after surviving Cho’s attack only to find his three prefect friends completely miserable. Hermione has again been disciplined by the Head Girl. To make matters worse for poor Hermione, Mars finds out about her attempts to free the house elves and insists she find out how they really feel about her.

08/09/2004Chapter 19 – Seeds of Conflict. Dumbledore reacts to Rita Skeeter’s accusation that Snape forced her under the Imperious Curse to torture Hermione. The Committee Against Dark Sorcerers insist on arresting Snape, but Dumbledore and Mars refuse. A conflict follows. Ron/Hermione are finally, officially an item.

08/09/2004Chapter 21 – Prepare for the Worst. Ron and Harry are again summoned to a late night study session with Mars, but Ginny, Hermione, Neville, Luna, Padma and Ernie also join them. Mars’ normal grinning is replaced with a somber face as he trains his students face to face with dementors.

08/09/2004Chapter 23 – A Dish Best Served Cold. Valentines Day approaches and the boys stress out over what to get Hermione and Ginny. Hermione’s plan for revenge reaches its fruition and Harry and Ron start learning the darkest of Dark Magic spells.

08/16/2004Chapter 25 -- Paved With Good Intentions. Harry teaches the second year classes how to deal with boggarts. Ron then decides a great practical joke could be pulled if Harry nicked one of the morphing nasties -- things go terribly wrong.

08/20/2004Chapter 26 – First Casualty of War. It is the last Hogsmeade weekend and Harry and his friends have their relaxation plans destroyed by the appearance of the Dark Mark in the village. Dumbledore and Mars appear on the scene and disagree completely over the response. Skirmishes break out across Britain and the news is brought to you on the WWN. (This is an experimental chapter of sorts.)
Chapter 27
08/20/2004Chapter 27 – Dumbledore's Defeat. Most of the Slytherin students leave Hogwarts in protest of Mars' attack upon their Death Eater parents. Steele substitutes as Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, and Charlie shows up in the Hospital critically wounded. Harry, Hermione, Ron, Ginny and Steele all worry about the continued absence of Mars, the rumors of Dumbledore's capture and welfare of Fleur, who was last seen dueling with Voldemort.
Chapter 28
08/26/2004Chapter 28 – Tests and Unrest. The skirmishes of the war die down and Mars returns to Hogwarts. While Fleur and Charlie are okay, the news is far from all good; Dumbledore's capture is confirmed and Mars looks deathly ill. Ginny tackles her OWLs while Harry, Ron and Hermione take their end of year exams.
Chapter 30
08/29/2004Chapter 30 – Battle for Castle Hogwarts. After Harry, Ginny, Ron and Hermione are rescued by Luna and Padma they try to escape the Castle, which is being overrun by Death Eaters. Dumbledore's still missing, Mars has fallen, and the students are surrounded in Ron and Harry's least favorite room at Hogwarts. How will Harry deliver he and his friends from their seemingly inescapable doom?
Chapter 31
09/05/2004Chapter 31 – Pyrrhic Victory. Harry and the others make it to the room that is supposed to lead them to safety, but of course something goes wrong. The door is guarded by Glyphs and a riddle, and even after they make it inside their escape is blocked. A trap is sprung and the greatest wizard’s duel since Dumbledore put the smack down on Grindelwald follows. This chapter is the climax of the story.
Chapter 32 – Upon the Death of Great Wizards: Mars' demise rocks the landscape of political and military power across Britain. It also pushes friendships to the brink Steele and Dumbledore clash as she summons more Defenders from South America..
