Okay, I've changed it and made it better! So, tell me what you think.

Fictional vs. Reality

Prologue

Voldemort paced the cold, dark, dank cellar of the Malfoy Manor, two of his death eaters watching from afar. He didn't understand it. How come Harry Potter continues to win? Every damn bloody time!

First, there was the Sorcerer's Stone. What happened to that? He didn't know; all he knew was that Harry destroyed Quirrell, and his spirit roamed for four additional years.

Lucius Malfoy told him that his Tom Riddle memory was destroyed by that bloody Harry Potter, and so was his basilisk. Once again, Harry Potter to the rescue!

The year after that, Peter Pettigrew was found out. That didn't bother him as much. He didn't really mind that much if Pettigrew was found, but he wasn't, so that's what he has to work with.

The fourth attempt, he was finally reincarnated, and he lost to a bloody duel with Harry. How could he lose? Their damn wands didn't cooperate!

Then, three years ago, he ran away...no, ran away is for cowards...he retreated to safety with Bellatrix LeStrange, leaving Dumbledore and Harry Potter to do whatever they wanted with the death eaters that were left at the ministry; one of them, regrettably, Lucius Malfoy.

Two years ago, in Harry's sixth year, he tried to capture the orb of Salazar. Of course, Harry and Dumbledore were there and destroyed the orb, causing Voldemort's plans of controlling magic in Hogwarts impossible.

Last year, just before the little "hero" graduated, he defeated Voldemort in yet, another duel. Harry even had a different wand, so the wands wouldn't not cooperate. Voldemort got tired of the fact that Harry had grown over the years, and so he fled once again.

What was he to do now?

"My Lord," Bella said, bowing, "I have news that Harry Potter is returned to his home. He is unprotected there. Whatever we do to him - "

"It's not enough!" Voldemort bellowed. "I need to kill him a certain way that that fool, Dumbledore, will regret ever crossing my plans!"

Narcissa walked into the cellar, carrying trays of hot tea for the three in the room. "You say that, yet you won't finish a duel with him?" she asked as she handed him a cup of tea.

Voldemort's mouth twitched in a death threatening way. He grabbed the teacup and squeezed his hand until the cup shattered and the pieces fell to the floor. Narcissa looked at him as she heard the glass fall to the ground. She then looked at his hand, and sighed. She set the tray down on the nearest barrel of wine and grabbed a towel, shoving it into his hands.

"You spend all your time planning on how to kill Harry Potter, and yet none of them work," she said, bending down to pick up the pieces. "Why waste your precious time trying to kill one person, when at the same time, you could be trying to kill millions?" she stood up and raised her eyebrows in a suggestive way.

Voldemort nodded, looking at her hands, which held the broken glass cup. He then looked down to his own hands, bloody with a few pieces of the cup sticking out of his hands.

"Very good plan," he said, picking out the glass pieces. He looked back up at her. "And, how do you think I can accomplish this task?"

Severus Snape stepped forward. "I think I may know a way."

"Then enlighten me, please do, Severus." Voldemort looked at him.

"As you may know, I am a professor at Hogwarts - "

"Yeah, we know that," Bella said. "Tell us something we don't know."

"Bella," Voldemort warned. "Continue, please, Severus."

"I work with...mudbloods all and every day," Severus continued. He wasn't keen on saying that word; but if it is to keep anyone from knowing about his true nature, then so be it. "I hear things. I hear them talking about all sorts of interesting things."

"What kind of things?" Voldemort asked, stepping closer to him, interested in what he had to say.

"I've heard of these muggle contraptions," Severus continued. "I don't know, ask a mudblood, you'll get more information out of it. But, they're called movies. Muggles are deathly afraid of some of the characters that are shown. Monsters, evil bad guys, really scary looking toys, you name it. Who knows what you can find?"

"Can you name some of these monsters?"

"I remember hearing a Gryffindor talk about an American movie. He said that the monster killed anyone, and eats them, I think. He also said that the monster uses the humans' body parts as his own. I don't know what that meant; but then he said that at the end of the movie, the monster cut a boy in half, took his eyes out, and used them as his own."

"Did the Gryffindor boy say what it was called?"

"The creeper. He said the 'movie' was called Jeepers Creepers."

Voldemort nodded.

"And another, I don't really know what this monster's purpose was, but his name is Freddy Krueger."

"Muggles are afraid of these?"

"Yes, master."

"Are you sure?"

"Well, some of the children I've heard talking about these said they weren't scared. But, who is going to admit they were scared of a fictional character that isn't real? Especially if you're a Gryffindor?"

Fictional? Scary fictional monsters? Sounded intriguing to Voldemort. He knew plenty of spells and such to make fiction become reality. The basilisk and his Tom Riddle memory were examples of that. He smiled and nodded.

"Very well," he said after a few minutes. "Severus, I want you to find out as many fictional monsters as you can. Find out where to find them. Bellatrix, I want you to find out where to get these movies. I want every movie with scary things as such. Do I make myself clear? I want them by the end of the summer."

Author notes: So, review! Okay, well, I haven't seen Nightmare on Elm Street, so I'm using Freddy vs. Jason. I know it just came out last year, but still.
