- Hey sorry i keep mixing up my new stories this should be the last time.
"I will help you," said Draco, "But I am curious, what do you have against Potter?"
"What is this? Twenty questions?" Ginny snapped. "I have my reasons."
"Well I can't work with someone who'll never tell me the whole truth," Draco said casually. Ginny stormed her brain.
"Fine, if you must know, I... I mean Potter... he killed my boyfriend."
"Seriously? I didn't know Potter was that kind of person. Ha! Potter is a murderer so we must murder Potter." Draco threw back his head and laughed.
"Well I am glad you find my boyfriend's murder so funny," Ginny said mustering up her best acting skills.
"I don't care about your boyfriend, I find the whole situation funny," Draco said with no regard for his so called cousin's feelings.
"Oh yes, I see the humor," Ginny retorted sarcastically.
"I can already tell that we are going to make a good team, come inside." Draco commanded. Ginny followed Draco into his large castle-looking house. The inside looked the same as the outside, cold and mysterious. There was no homely feeling anywhere. Ginny did notice the stair case. The banister had a curling design that had been delicately carved into the polished wood. The stairs were covered with a beautiful red silk carpet. Ginny didn't know why she noticed the staircase. I mean the staircase is not the first thing that one notices when they walk into a house. Maybe it was because it was the only beautiful part of the house as far as Ginny could tell.
Draco led Ginny into what appeared to be an office. Ginny could tell that it was magically altered so it just appeared that way to the untrained eye. She knew that inside was the house's magical segment. Any family that was magical had at least a small segment. A magical segment was a place of power. In that place one could think more clearly and concentrate more on their powers. The problem with magical segments was that they often moved and only an experienced wizard or witch could feel one out.
"You have a powerful segment," said Ginny for she had felt the magic.
"Very astute Gin. You mind if I call you Gin? Well I am going to anyways." Ginny liked how that sounded, especially when he said it. It sounded more like her own name, Ginny. The two Malfoys, well one Malfoy and one imposter, walked into the segment. Ginny could immediately feel the power. She put her backpack on the table and started sorting out her diagrams. Draco looked at them and frowned, though his face always was set in sort of a frown, this was an intentional frown. He took them from Ginny and recited a spell, so simple that Ginny cursed herself for not thinking of it herself. The spell perfected Ginny's diagrams. Her original lines were still there, but they were straighter and darker. Ginny looked away, embarrassed at her ignorance. Her cheeks turned the color of a red rose in mid spring. The further she got into this adventure, the more she realized how little she knew. She was hoping Draco would have an idea or two.
"Well do you have any bloody plans or did you expect me to do it all?" Draco snapped. Well, she kind of did expect that, but she held her head high and tried to act confident in her plans.
"Yes I have plans O GREAT ONE," Ginny said mockingly, "I was planning on putting a tesserexial diamond around the house while Harry is at work, and when he comes home, we will activate it, therefore he will be trapped inside. We will then be hiding inside and when he comes in, we will take him by surprise and knock him out. After that, I am still thinking." Draco was thoroughly fascinated by the way Ginny seemed to act so confident with such a lousy plan.
"What the bloodiness was that. Hey! Why don't we just walk up to him and hit him over the head with a bloody teddy bear. I guess you did plan on me knowing what to do," Draco exclaimed. He stormed out of the room and slammed the door behind him leaving Ginny hurt and offended. She just stared at it in shock. Ginny knew that he was going to take much getting used to. She walked out of the room and started walking up the stairs. She would have to talk to Draco about accommodations for the night. She wasn't looking forward to it. Ginny's hand touched the banister. What was it that drew her to the stairway of all things? O well, this whole house was going to take a lot of getting used to.
