The Flip Side

Gryffindor vs Slytherin. This is how it was, is, and always will be. It is not all about Harry and Draco, however. Fred, George, Percy, Alicia and Oliver have had their Slytherin problems - specifically Flint, Pucey, Higgs, Bletchley and Draco's elder sister Abigail. So why is it they cannot seem to get away from each other? Set during CoS. (Flint/OC)

Chapter Two: While the Gryffindors are horrified to realize Harry and Ron missed the Hogwarts Express, the Slytherins are thrilled. Meanwhile Lee Jordan and the twins do a little eavesdropping and and Angelina Johnson accuses Fred of something that could make things a little awkward should Flint ever find out...

When the whistle blew to signal the Hogwarts Express' arrival to Hogsmeade Station, all hell broke loose. Fred Weasley and Marcus Flint square off, proving that sometimes even wizards have to put aside the wands and do things the old-fashioned way.

Professors McGonagall and Snape discipline the rebellious students who were involved in the fight on the Hogwarts Express, but even that isn't enough to stop them when next they meet...until Madam Pomfrey puts them in their place.

It's Grand Howler Central at Hogwarts after the incident on the train, and Abby's got the job of keeping Flint's raging temper cooled - not an easy task with Violet Parkinson's gossiping mouth flapping on overdrive. Meanwhile, Wood has a crisis - his mother wants him to quit Quidditch!

A letter arrives from Lucius Malfoy addressed to Marcus Flint, the contents of which send the Slytherin Quidditch team into an upheaval. As if that wasn't enough, Draco continues his personal mission to sabotage Flint and Abby's relationship, and receives a pillow in the kisser for his troubles.

Tiz the season of receiving! The Slytherins receive their brand-new Nimbuses, Fred receives a tongue-lashing from Hermione, and Penelope Clearwater receives her first lesson in 'Bullying Victim 101' when Abby and Violet catch her hanging around with Percy Weasley.
