Author's Note:
This fic was written a long time ago before I knew the concept of Mary-Sue and Gary-Stu. Here's the revised and edited version. This will be a two chapter story. Thanks to my betas The Wondeful Shoe and Graves! You guys are the sweetest! Please review and tell me what you think! Construtive Criticism would be nice!

He appeared out of thin air right in Muggle London. The cold crisp air hit his face, turning it a light pink. He couldn't believe what he was about to do but he was invited and Draco Malfoy doesn't let down an invitation to a party. He was dressed in black trousers, turtleneck and a long cape. He held a white mask that only covered his eyes. His white blond hair was slicked back and was covered with a black top hat.

Harry Potter had invited him to one of his "crazy parties". They were known for the loud music, endless drinks and for the wild behaviour. Draco had been looking forward to it but would never admit it. However, the main reason he was attending this party was because of that certain someone.

When Voldemort had been at his strongest, Draco decided a Death Eater life wasn't his cup of tea. So he turned to light and fought on the opposite side of his father and everything he once stood for...

~*flashback*~

What was once a beautiful landscape was now a bloody mess. Everywhere he turned, there was a flash of light of every different color of the rainbow and a body that would fall to its untimely death. He had walked these grounds for so long that he had it memorized. But now Draco could no longer recognize it. He walked away from the on going battle towards the lake where his father was waiting for him.

"Out of all the people I expected to betray me, you were the last one. My own flesh and blood." Lucius stated as Draco stopped a few feet away from where he stood.

"You once told me to expect the unexpected, father. Maybe you should have practiced what you preached."

"Hmm, indeed I should have," Lucius moved towards Draco, "you know, I always had your best interest at heart. It's a shame that it has to end this way... Avada-" Lucius was cut short when Draco ducked and shouted "Petrificus Totalus" which sent him to the ground, unmoving. Draco bent down over Lucius' still form and said:

"You know I always had your best interests at heart as well. I should have killed you but that would have been too easy. No, years of suffering in Azkaban would be much more suitable." He stood up and gave his father one last piteous look before returning to battle. Suddenly, there was a loud crack from behind him, startling him.

"Hello Malfoy!"

That voice... Draco knew that voice anywhere. The voice that once belonged to his best friend. That voice that made all the dirty jokes during those boring days in the common room. Yes, Blaise Zambinis deep voice was quite unique. Draco slowly turned around to face his so called friend.

"Zambini! What a pleasant surprise. I didn't intend on killing you until later on!"

"Always full of witty remarks," Blaise chuckled. "You should have joined our side, Malfoy. The winning side..."

"Oh yes, definitely the winning side. From what I can tell, most of the Death Eaters are on the ground!"

"That doesn't matter and you know it." Blaise advanced on Draco. "Soon the Dark Lord will kill Harry Potter and what ever little hope you had of freedom from evil will be crushed." Draco didn't notice Blaise pull out a dagger from his pocket before it was too late. The dagger sliced through the skin of his stomach, emitting a surge of pain that he has never felt before.

Blaise pushed him to the ground, shoving the dagger further into his stomach. He whispered:

"You always thought you were better than everyone. But to me, you will always be the same pointed face little-" Blaise never had a chance to finish when a stunning spell was cast onto him from behind. He fell on Draco, twisting the blade. Draco let out a yelp of pain. Blaises body was heaved off of him and Ginny Weasley face hovered over his.

"Malfoy? Malfoy, are you alright?"

"Considering that I have a nine inch dagger sticking through my stomach, I feel just dandy!" Ginny glared at him before slowly removing the blade and casting a healing charm to prevent further internal bleeding.

"Malfoy, I'm going to go find madam Pomfrey! I'll-" Draco blacked out before she could finish.

~*end flashback*~

After Harry had won the battle, Draco and Ginny stayed in correspondence. They wrote to each other and went out often. After many fights and screaming, Ginny's family finally approved of their relationship.

He was going to propose to Ginny tonight. They had been dating for about two years after the war and they were deeply in love. He couldn't wait to see the look on her face. Draco told her to go to the party before him since he wanted some time to himself to prepare. He now knew the words by heart and the adrenaline was rushing through his body.

"Why does Potter have to live so far?" Draco grumbled as he rubbed his hands together. Harry owned a house in the heart of muggle London and for security reasons; they set up an apparition point a block away. It was a simple house but Harry magically expanded the inside so that it could fit as many people as possible. It had bay windows and three floors including a basement.

Draco walked up the front steps and before ringing the bell, he put on his mask. The curtains were closed and it was as quiet as death, but Draco knew that on the inside, there was music playing and people laughing. He rang the doorbell and the door was opened by Harry. He was dressed in what looked like a sheet draped over him with a crown of leaves on his head.

"Nice costume Potter."

"Same to you," replied Harry, "come in". As soon as Draco entered, it felt as though he walked through a ghost. Harry must have put caudex charm on the door to block out the noise.

I'M COMING OUT
SO YOU BETTER GET THIS PARTY STARTED

The music filled his ears with such a force that he took a step back. It was loud and could be heard through the whole house. There were people everywhere you turned. Everyone was in different costumes, each of them holding a drink. Some were talking in the living room, others making out in a corner.

Ginny informed him that Harry had summoned a dance floor and installed it in the basement. There was supposed to be a bar and a round shiny ball that kept turning on the ceiling.

Draco helped himself to a drink, walked through the crowds in search for Ginny. He stopped once in a while to talk to some people he knew or to get himself another drink.

He didn't have a clue what Ginny would be wearing, but he needed to find her. He saw Harry and Hermione talking together with Ron and Pavarti. Harry and Hermione had gotten married right after the war, which was right after their seventh year. They both worked as Aurors. Ron and Pavarti had been going out for about a three months, according to Ginny. They both worked for the ministry in the Magic Reversal Department.

"Do you know where Ginny is?" Draco asked.

"She was dancing when I last saw her" replied Hermione. She was dressed in an extremely tight black suit, a black headband that had fluffy black ears on it. She wore bright red lipstick and had a long black tail. Draco guessed that she must have taken the idea of her costume from her mentor, professor McGonagall.

Draco nodded before he moved towards the dimly lit staircase that led to the basement. There were more people dancing then there were people talking upstairs. When he entered, all he saw was a sea of heads. It was hard to see in the flashing light at first but he eventually saw her. He walked straight toward the mass of blood red curls. Ginny had dyed her hair a few weeks ago much to her mother's dismay.

He finally reached her. She was swaying to the music. Ginny was wearing a red spaghetti strap dress that he bought for her on Valentine's Day. It was made out of silk and it reached her mid-thigh. Her long mass of red curls was down and she wore a headband that had two flashing horns on it.

A muggle hip-hop song started to play. He recognised it quickly as the one to which he and Ginny danced on their first date.

I'M JUST A BACHELOR
LOOKING FOR A PARTNER

He kissed her cheek, catching her by surprise. When she realised who it was, Draco placed himself in back of her and started to move to the beat.

IF YOU'RE HORNY, LET'S DO IT
RIDE IT, MY PONY
MY SADDLE'S WAITING
COME AND JUMP ON IT

He turned her so that she was facing him. She put one arm on his right shoulder and the other loosely in the air.

IF WE'RE GONNE GET NASTY BABY

FIRST WE'LL SHOW AND TELL

UNTIL I REACH YOUR PONY TAIL

She had that smile on her face. The very smile that melted his closely guarded heart. He just needed to be close to her, to touch her...

LURK ALL OVER AND THROUGH YOU BABY

UNTIL WE REACH THE...

He was concentrating too hard on Ginny to notice the music. He couldn't take it anymore. He lifted her chin and leaned forward. The kiss was slow, soft and sweet.

"Can we go somewhere and talk?" asked Draco. She nodded and led him to the bedrooms upstairs. He made her sit on the bed while he stood.

"Ginny, there's something I've been meaning to tell you. I - would you -" Draco stuttered while pacing the room. Ginny stood and stopped him. It was the first time she ever saw him pace and it was worrying her. She placed her hand on his cheek which he leaned into.

"Draco? What's wrong?" Draco shook himself mentally and told himself that he could do it, it was only four words.

"I wanted to ask you something..." he paused.

"What did you want to ask me?" she slowly questioned.

"Well..."
