First Sequel to "Somewhere In My Past"
*******
Harry fell unconscious that night, and the first time he opened his eyes he saw the smiling faces of Ron and Hermione. That morning it was confirmed that Harry had his memory back, which resulted in a week -long celebration both intimate and grandiose.
"Professor Dumbledore, you called for me?"
"Yes, Harry. Have a seat, lemon drops, or tea perhaps?" The old headmaster asked, both of which Harry politely declined.
"As you know classes will start in two months and there are two vacant teaching positions I would like to offer you. I know Harry that you have only just gained your memory back, and I would like you to know that I am not pushing you. I am willing to wait for your reply up to the day the classes start."
"What would the positions be?"
"Well, you could teach Defense Against the Dark Arts for the lower years, since Severus will be teaching the higher years, or you could replace Madam Hooch."
"Professor Snape will teach the higher years? How about potions?"
"Yes, he will still teach but only for the higher years, also. I believe he already contacted one of his best students and is still waiting for a response. If I am not mistaken he is of your batch."
"Professor, would you happen to know to whom he offered the position?'
"Ah yes, Mr. Zabini. Blaise Zabini."
"Blaise?"
"Yes, Harry. Why is there something you want to tell me?"
"None, Professor. There is nothing else." Harry bid goodbye to the old Headmaster and walked back to his room in Hogwarts, where he had taken residence recently. He was still thinking about why Snape had offered the job as Potions Professor for the lower years to Blaise and not to Draco.

A month had passed since Dumbledore had offered Harry the teaching positions, and Draco still hadn't visited him since the night he first showed himself.
One night Harry couldn't sleep, and he rolled around so many times, tossing and turning in his bed. He was very much surprised that he couldn't sleep because normally once he had already settled in for the night he had no trouble whatsoever. Harry sighed, folded his arms up on his head and tucked his hands under the pillows, thinking of one thing: Draco.
That night when his memory came flooding back, it also brought back his love for the blonde. And now he had so many questions, but most of all he felt the pain and longing of a love being missed, of a love nobody knows. Carefully he put on his cloak and went out towards the gardens where he last saw Draco, hoping that the blonde would come, that this time Draco would come.
"Harry."
"Draco, is that you?" Harry tried to look carefully at the person standing from the shadows trying to make out if he really was Draco.
"Would you remember if I answered your question?"
"It is you." Harry smile was so wide and he ran straight to the other, smothering the blonde with quick, tiny wet kisses all over his face, before capturing the waiting lips for the second time since that night.
"Hmmm...you remembered." Draco smiled back to Harry.
"What took you so long?"
"What do you mean?" The blonde asked wrapping his arms tightly around the black haired wizard.
"You know what I mean," Harry said while he pulled the other towards a nearby bench.
"Oh that...I just can't believe the number of people who care so deeply about you, and love you. Imagine being who I am, a Malfoy and your secret lover! What I went through just to make them believe that I only ever wanted what's best for you. I had to make them trust me before I could even get near Ron and Hermione," his lover said while looking into the distance.
"Ron and Hermione?" Harry asked, surprised as to how Draco referred to his friends.
"Yes, Hermione gave me a hard time, but that was nothing compared to what Ron gave me..." Draco chuckled, recollecting the times he had to persuade his lovers' two best friends of his intentions. He looked at Harry and smiled, rejoicing that the person he loved most now remembered.
"That took you five years?" Harry asked still processing all the things the blonde revealed to him.
"Well, I had to adjust first to all the changes, and accept the fact that you didn't remember me. Then you accepted your memory loss, and had your girlfriend..."
"Hannah." Harry interrupted, naming the girl he spent two years with, in an on-off relationship.
"Your family had already gave me their blessings then, but I still debated within myself if it was wise to make you remember, and confuse you once again. I thought of what would happen afterwards, and I got scared...so all in all, yeah, it took me five years." Draco squeezed Harry's hands, asking him for understanding.
"You don't have to be afraid...I'm here now." Harry held Draco's hands in between his.
"Yes...so near."
There was an awkward silence after that. They just sat silently enjoying each other's warmth, thinking of things to come.
"They offered the lower years' Potions Professor job to Blaise. I don't know why Snape didn't offer it to you."
"Snape knew me, I don't have the patience for teaching."
"Hmmmm...I missed you so much." Harry said in a whisper, moving closer to Draco, kissing him sweetly and touching him teasingly.
"Har...Harry it has been five years and...and..." Draco stopped when Harry silenced him with a quick kiss full on the lips.
"I understand...is there someone else?"
"There was no one...it was always only you." Draco smiled.
"We'll go at your pace then."
"Thank you."
"How long are we going to stay here, I'm kind of getting sleepy." Harry asked, yawning.
"Come settle on my lap like you used to." Draco moved to the other end so that Harry could lie his head down on the blonde's lap.
"Draco where are you staying now, so I can visit you too, if ever you can't make it here."
"Patience love, you'll know soon."
"I love you, Draco. I love you so much."
"And I love you too."
Harry fell asleep while Draco played with his hair, and as the skies started to prepare for the sun to rise, the blonde whispered soft words to Harry that he would never hear, as he slept soundly. With a smile on his lips, Draco sighed contentedly.

"Harry! Mate, wake up!" Ron shouted at him and gently shook the sleeping wizard.
"Draco...Draco was here!" were the first words that left Harry's mouth when he woke up.
"We know," Hermione confirmed as she helped Harry dust his robes.
"He was the one who helped me remember," Harry said looking at his two friends.
"We have been waiting for it actually, he promised us." The bushy haired girl said smiling.
"Herm, those are tulips," Harry said noticing for the first time the bundle of flowers she was holding.
"So that you have something to give Draco. We know these are his favorites."
"Hermione, Ron, there is something that I have to tell you...about Draco and me...about us..."
"We know...he told us. We understand. What is important is that the both of you are happy." Ron said, taking Hermione's hand into his.
"Thank you." Harry reached for the flowers, admiring them, before running off towards the castle.
"Harry, where are you going?" Ron called.
"To Draco."
"Harry..." Hermione couldn't continue as realization dawned on her and to Ron.
"Mate, Draco is here." Ron looked at Hermione sadly before kneeling, his hand sweeping away the dried leaves on the ground, revealing a tombstone and inscription that Harry had yet to see.
Draco Malfoy
"I will do anything, everything for love. You'll be safe here."
"He died an hour after you said you didn't remember him," Hermione said.
"He promised us that he'd make you remember only in your dreams." Ron concluded.
Harry read the inscription several times, the same words that was said to him that night but never heard, were now whispered to him once more by a gentle blowing wind, this time with finality. The finality of knowing that Draco would never come back again to visit him, because now Harry knew where to find the blonde.
