It's One Crazy Love Story!

Draco Malfoy and Ginny Weasley had hated each other their entire lives because their families hated each other. This was because of an incident long ago that not many knew. Even Draco and Ginny did not know.

Draco always made fun of Ginny and her brother Ron and their family. Ron would get so mad that his ears would get red along with his face, and Hermione and Harry would have to restrain him. Ginny, however, just ignored him and never said anything.

During the year that Malfoy, Ron, Hermione and Harry were to finish their seventh year, two enemies fell in love.

Throughout the school was the news that Draco Malfoy was to marry one of the other richest families in the entire wizarding world, the Parkinsons, in a year. Pansy and Draco were engaged and were to marry next May.

A month before exams started, Ginny and her friends Luna, Padma and Samantha sat under a tree discussing it.

"They so deserve each other," said Samantha, also known as Sam, casting a spell that made her eyes change colour.

Luna and Padma nodded. "Definitely!" said Padma.

Sam looked at Ginny, who was staring at the lake. "You don't think they deserve one another?" she asked.

Ginny laughed and said, "Of course they do! Well, maybe I might feel a bit sorry for Parkinson."

Everyone laughed. They all knew how much Ginny hated Draco Malfoy. He had been taunting her since her first year and hadn't stopped since then.

"What were you thinking 'bout, Gin?" asked Padma. Ginny had only a few friends, but they were a selected few. Padma was in Ravenclaw and was Parvati's sister. She was smart, logical and she was a little blunt, but looked out for everyone's best interests.

Sam was the one with attitude in the group. She liked to keep everyone up to rank and was always defending her friends. She was always the first to come up with snappy comebacks to Malfoy when Ginny couldn't think of anything.

Luna was kind of strange, Ginny had thought in fourth year. But as she got to know her and as Luna became more confident and made more friends, she wasn't as dreamy before and was always sharp and alert.

"I'm trying to come up with a way to avenge all the times Malfoy ridiculed me," explained Ginny. "He's finally leaving and I want to give him a nice farewell."

Her friends laughed. "We'll think of something," said Padma.

"Don't worry," said Sam.

The rest of lunch was spent talking about lessons and the next morning, which was Saturday, the main topic in the school was Pansy's wedding.

After eating breakfast, Ginny got up to go to Hogsmeade with her friends when she bumped into Draco Malfoy in the entrance hall.

"Sorry about that, Weasley," he drawled. "Didn't see you there, as you're so short."

Ginny scowled at him and tried to think of something, but she usually never could. Thinking on her feet had never been one of her best skills.

"We definitely saw you, though," said Luna, surprising everyone. "Because your ego takes up the whole castle."

Everyone was silent for a few minutes and then Malfoy just grumbled off.

Ginny and her friends congratulated Luna and made their way to Hogsmeade.

Once they got there, they headed into a small teashop and sat down,

"I hate Malfoy!" said Ginny. This was nothing new to anyone, but they all still talked about it.

"He just won't leave me alone. I'm going to think of something so good to get back at him! But I don't want any of your guys' help, got it?"

Sam groaned. "Aw, but Gin, if we helped you would come up with three times a better plan!"

"Nope!" she said. "I want to come up with my own idea, because then I'll be even more proud of it!"

She grinned and felt proud that she had told her friends off. She didn't want her friends help while defeating her enemy once and for all.

They ate and talked and laughed, and then walked up to the school for dinner.

All the time, Ginny was trying to think of a foolproof plan to embarrass Malfoy, in such a way that the whole school would know.

She was so intent on this, that she didn't even eat much dinner and went up to the common room to think up ideas. He had insulted her, ridiculed her, caught her hair on fire once and had beaten up her friends during her fourth year, when Umbridge was there.

She wanted to do something so good to him that it would avenge everything that he had done to her for six years.

She sat there for fifteen minutes, just doodling on a piece of parchment and then she yawned; man thinking of ways to embarrass Malfoy sure takes up a lot of your energy.

She kept on thinking the entire night and felt asleep in the common room.

What she didn't know was that somewhere else in the Palace, someone else was very anxious.

Draco Malfoy lay awake in his bed. He thought of the wedding that was to be held in a year. He wasn't thrilled nor was he upset.

They had been betrothed since they were little and when Pansy's parents asked whether they still wanted to go through with it, his mother said she did. But she told Draco to be careful, only a select few knew that his father was in Azkaban and if the Parkinsons found out they would break the engagement.

His mother had told them that he was gone on a trip to some foreign country or other for some affair. The Parkinsons were haters of Dumbledore and the system he ran the school in, but they weren't supporters of Voldemort.

Malfoy didn't mind not having his father home for the past few years. It was peaceful actually.

Now, his father never barged into his room without permission and he could continue doing whatever he wanted. There were no more lectures about how to be a Death Eater and how to support Voldemort.

Pansy may not be hot, thought Draco, but she sure can kiss.

With that thought, he fell asleep.

Chapter 2

Draco woke up the next morning, feeling the usual smirk crawl on to his face in anticipation of torturing the first years.

He got dressed and went down to breakfast. He sat with Crabbe and Goyle and spied Pansy walking up to him.

She smiled at him, showing her crooked teeth and kissed him on the cheek. "Hello, darling. How are you this morning?"

Draco smirked, but inside he wanted to slap her. The truth was she absolutely disgusted him and he didn't know how he would survive being married to her. The only thought he held onto was that she was rich and known and that his father would be proud of him.

Draco sighed, he had a weakness inside of him and that was challenges. He loved trying to figure out problems and being married to Pansy, wasn't going to be a challenge. She would do everything he told him and there would be no rebellion, which he would've enjoyed, because he liked trying to persuade (manipulate- rather) people. He turned his attention back to Pansy and almost grimaced.

"I'm fine, Pansy. Now sit down if you want me to stay fine," drawled Draco.

She sat down. "How was your sleep, dear?" she asked.

Draco clenched his fist; he wanted to punch her for calling him dear and darling. "Shut it, Parkinson if you want to sleep with me."

Pansy pouted and suddenly there was a loud roar of laughter across the hall.

Draco glanced over and found Ginny Weasley and her stupid friends laughing over something.

He scowled; he hated Weasley and her friends. His family hated her family and he intended on keeping that way.

Ginny was laughing over a joke that Padma had made about a way to get revenge for all the insults Draco had given her. She had said living and sleeping with Parkinson was punishment enough.

Ginny smiled to herself as she saw the owls flying in. She hoped on getting a letter from her mother and didn't notice owl that had the howler in its beak that flew to Draco.

The owl dropped the letter onto his plate and flew away. Draco's attention was focused on something Crabbe said and he failed to notice the letter.

It was Pansy who noticed it, "Draco, sweetie-pie. You've got a letter."

Draco was fully ready to slug her when he looked down at his plate and noticed the howler.

"What the hell is this?" he asked. "Some kind of joke?"

Pansy, Crabbe and Goyle shrugged.

"Dunno," grumbled Goyle in his usual fashion.

"You better open that," taunted Millicent Bulstrode, who was sitting near them. "It'll explode anyways!"

As soon as the words were out of her mouth, the howler exploded into the shrieks of Narcissa Malfoy, who hardly ever shrieked.

"The wedding is called off, Draco! We have lost 1 million gallons because of all the things we bought and planned! Your father has found out, and he's furious, but not at you, dear."

It ripped into tiny pieces and then there was silence all around. Then everyone started laughing and continued with talking.

Draco's eyes were wide in horror. The wedding was called off? That would be all right since he didn't want Pansy as a wife. But sending a howler to his school? His mother must've been off her rocker.

He fumed and decided that he was going to put the matter to rest. He took out a fresh piece of parchment and wrote a letter to his mother explaining himself.

He left breakfast early to mail it and didn't notice that four girls on the Gryffindor bench had their heads pressed together, talking about him.

Ginny finally had her plan and she needed her friends help to put it in action.

After lessons, Draco received the reply from his mother. He skimmed it briefly before going to dinner. His mother apologized for yelling at him and promised it would not happen again.

That was it. It was stated in one sentence and signed, Narcissa Black Malfoy.

Draco lit fire to it from his wand and went to dinner.

During dinner, some very strange things happened. People kept on looking at Malfoy and laughing.

He had no idea what was going on until Pansy ran in crying. He hadn't seen her since this morning and then she didn't even know that her wedding had been broken. Pansy was rather slow and only until Millicent explained it to her did she start to cry.

Draco just thought that she finally understood they had broke up and was crying about it now, but when she yelled at him, he realized he was wrong..

"How could you, Draco?" she accused.

Malfoy rolled his eyes. "How could I what? Sleep with you? I don't know myself."

"No!" she wailed. "How could you dump me for a muggle actress?"

Malfoy was confused. "What? I didn't drop you for any muggle actress and even if I did she wouldn't have to be that hot considering anyone's hotter than you."

"Liar!" she cried. "It's on posters everywhere!"

Draco said, "What in bloody hell are you talking about woman?"

She pointed to the door and said, "As if you don't know. Go outside and look!"

Draco got up and walked out, in his usual cool demeanour.

He looked to the left of him and sure enough there were small posters with his picture on the walls.

It read, 'Draco Malfoy breaks up with Pansy Parkinson for the famous American muggle actress, an anorexic and drug addict, Mary-Kate Olsen!'

It was a picture of Draco Malfoy and, whom he supposed was Mary-Kate Olsen, an ugly girl who looked the same age as him and was disgustingly thin, kissing.

The picture, like all others in the magical world, was moving.

Malfoy was about to slash the poster with his wand when he heard an all too familiar voice behind him.

"Don't do that, I spent a long ten minutes on them," said Ginny Weasley.

He glared at her, "So you did this, Weasley."

"Did what?" she asked innocently.

Malfoy raised an eyebrow. It was not in his manner to rage and scream. As usual, he looked, calm, cool and collected, but angry all the same.

He noticed a change in her from all the years he had mocked her. She had finally spoken up to him and for once; her friends weren't with her.

She also looked different. There was a sudden change in her appearance. Her orange-red hair from last year and turned auburn and cascaded in waves down her back. She had a small nose and full lips. She wasn't tall like him; she was only five foot five. Her eyes were green, like a cats and in them was amusement, but not for long.

"Hung up all these posters?" he asked.

She nodded. "Wasn't it a nice farewell?"

He stepped closer to her and saw the fear in her eyes. He stopped and said, "I can do horrible things to you, Weaslette." He stepped but closer to her and Ginny stepped back until she was leaning against the wall.

"Thought you had everything planned out, didn't you?" he asked, his cool grey eyes boring into her green ones. "But you didn't anticipate this did you?"

She blinked and suddenly Sam said, "Hey! What are you doing to her?"

Malfoy stared at her for a few seconds and then with a swish of his cloak, he was gone.

"What was that about?" asked Padma.

Ginny shrugged, "Nothing, don't worry about it."

They went back into the Great hall to finish dinner, but Ginny turned around and felt the weird sensation, that someone was watching her.
