Revised edition of What If? Prologue and Chapter One, an AR eventual H/D fanfic. What if Harry was sorted into Slytherin instead of Gryffindor? Would he have been subject still to Voldemort's yearly relentless attacks? Maybe one decision by a grimy old hat would change the entire world forever...

Harry and Draco create a very interesting bond, in more ways than one, Harry talks about his life with the Dursley's, and Draco puts forward a proposition to his mother.

Chapter 03 ~ Narcissa's reply to her son's owl, Draco's fashion tips, the Hallowe'en feast and information about the Room of Requirement. A game of chess is involved; near-naked faeries are too; Blaise's suspicions and the idiotic Granger and Weasley lose points for Gryffindor. The Philosopher's Stone also makes an appearance.

Chapter 04 ~ More snogging! Draco's hair potion goes missing, and he's attacked; Harry's first night at Malfoy Manor; chess and tickling, as well.

Chapter 05 ~ Draco wakes up to find Harry asleep next to him, Diagon Alley, a visit to St. Mungo's, someone has a chat with Voldemort, vials of blood and people are trying to kill Harry.

Chapter 06 ~ Narcissa begins acting, plans, Lucius' dramatic entrance to the hospital, Christmas shopping, Harry finds out a bit more about his family history and more snogging! Christmas Day, Pansy finds out about Draco and Harry, who rambles on about school history and Harry reveals his addiction to a drug.

Chapter 07 ~ The final chapter.
