Author's Note:
If you have read LOTR or are reading, it's good to be familiar with all three books, just in case. Also I had fun writing this, even though it's definitely strange. Please review!! Also, Eowund and Galadrien (hey, I couldn't think of any names!) are made up by moi. I know the chapters are really short, but they're a page in MW......

Chapter One

Hermione looked at Professor McGonagall with worried eyes. She was with Harry and Ron and they looked just as apprehensive as Hermione felt.

"Are you ready?" McGonagall said seriously.

"Y-yes." Hermione said held out her Time-Turner; Harry and Ron did the same.

"On my count then. Three, two one. Now!" Hermione, Harry and Ron turned their Time-Turners three time and felt the world around them spinning fast. A few minutes later they landed in on a white stone floor, breathing very hard. Hermione looked around. Harry and Ron stood up and she gasped when she saw them. Harry-at least Hermione thought it was Harry-was clad in silver and white, and looked very regal. Ron was clad in brown and some shades of green. Harry had brown-red long hair and Ron had blond-brown long hair.

"Harry? Ron?"

"It's Harry," Harry said and Hermione gasped.

"You-where are we?" she walked over to a mirror in the corner of the room lined with gold jewels and gasped. She had rather long brown hair and some freckles, and had a tiara of silver set upon her head and was dressed in a white slender gown with gold stars stitched up the side and was very tall.

"Who-oh my gosh! Just give me a moment!" she said and rushed out of the room, running down some stone stairs and into a hall. A man was standing tall clad in gray and silver.

"Eowyn, come join us in dinner," said the man.

"Who are you?" Hermione gasped.

"Eowyn, are you ill? I am Eowund, your cousin."

"I'm fine um, I have to get back to my rooms. See you," Hermione said and bustled off, her heart pounding ninety to nothing. She ran up the stairs and into her room. Harry and Ron were looking at themselves in the mirror and Hermione looked out the window-they were high in a tower, obviously in the city of Minas Tirith. She looked back at Harry and Ron and they turned to her.

"Harry, Ron, we're in Middle-earth." Said Hermione.

"Where?" Harry said confusedly.

"Harry, you know I read the Lord of the Rings trilogy when I was sixteen, right?"

"Yeah, I remember you with the books," Harry said and Ron nodded.

"Well, we've gone back to that time and I'm Eowyn, the 'lady' of Ithilien, you're obviously Faramir, my future husband, and Ron, you're Eomer, my brother!" said Hermione, and sighed. Harry and Ron gasped.

"Your husband?" he said unbelievably.

"Yes, my husband. But look, how did we get here? The Time-Turners must've screwed up with the potion McGonagall made and oh, it's so confusing!" said Eowyn and held her hand to her forehead and felt something cold on her finger. She looked down and saw a great ring of mithril, which looked like silver and diamonds mixed together.

"Harry, we're already married!" she said and sighed.

Chapter Two

"Well, I suppose that's not so bad," Harry (Faramir) said with a bit of a grin on his face.

"I guess not-but-oh, Harry, it's thirty sixty-two! Aragorn is still alive," she said incredulously. She grabbed Harry and Ron's hands and dragged them downstairs and out onto the street. The tall tower named Minas Anor that they were just in gleamed in the sunlight, its banners waving gladly in the sun.

"Wow, it's beautiful." Ron said. The wind rippled Hermione (or rather Eowyn)'s hair and Harry looked up and down at her in amazement.

"Well, since we're married," he said and leaned forward, kissing her passionately. She wrapped her arms around him and someone tapped her on the shoulder. She pulled away and turned around.

"Like, people are looking at you," Ron/Eomer hissed. Hermione/Eowyn laughed.

"Like I care?" she said and went back to kissing Harry/Faramir.

*********

Hermione/Eowyn climbed to the top of Minas Anor, and looked over the White City-its seven gates, the people walking around, some on horses and the others on foot. She sighed and turned around, finding herself face-to-face with Harry/Faramir. She'd braided her hair elegantly and some stray strands fell around her face.

"Harry, why did we come back in time in the first place?" she asked.

"To see if we could find out why Peter Pettigrew was found not guilty of the charge of-"

"Oh that's right," said Hermione/Eowyn. "Well I think you have some sword-fighting to learn."

"And I suppose you know how to sword fight?"

"Well, sort of. I've seen people practice in the Lord of the Rings movies, and I've seen them fight. For instance in Two Towers there was a mock fight between Eowyn and Aragorn--at least, I think." Said Hermione/Eowyn and grinned, pulling Harry down to the back courtyard of the tower. She'd grabbed her sword from her room and another one on the way down and tossed one to Harry. He caught it and looked at it in amazement.

"Mind you, I've had some experience," he said, "in our second year; in the Chamber of Secrets, remember. But the sword was much heavier."

"Oh yeah," Hermione/Eowyn said and they started their mock sword fight.

"Eowyn!" called a voice. Hermione/Eowyn looked behind her. It was Ron/Eomer and he was grinning.

"What?"

"I was seeing where you were," he shrugged.

"When are we going back?" Harry/Faramir asked. Hermione/Eowyn sighed.

Chapter Three

"I suppose McGonagall wouldn't be too happy if we stayed long, but it's so much fun, being in Middle-earth," she suddenly gasped.

"What is it?"

"Oh, never mind, it's highly unlikely." Hermione/Eowyn brushed her idea aside.

"Hermione?"

"It's Eowyn, Harry-er, Faramir-it's Eowyn." Hermione/Eowyn laughed.

"Okay, Eowyn?"

"Yeah?"

"When we get back to Hogwarts, could you lend me your Lord of the Rings books?" Hermione/Eowyn laughed.

"Of course." She said. Ron sighed.

"I'm hungry. When is dinner?"

"God, Eomer, you're already thinking about food? We've only just arrived!" said Hermione/Eowyn.

"Eomer? Couldn't you call me Ron? I mean, maybe Faramir, but not Eomer. How tacky." He said and rolled his eyes. Hermione/Eowyn laughed.

"Okay, Ron, you're already thinking about food? We could steal some food from inside Minas Tirith," Hermione said.

"You're the wife of the Steward, why don't you?"

"Harry-er, Faramir-is the Steward! You're my brother! Your point?"

"Come on, you're so pretty, you could get food easily," said Ron, and realizing what he said, covered his mouth.

"Hmm, a steward's wife sleeping with her brother, then using her power and beauty to get food...I don't think Gondor would like that too much," said Hermione/Eowyn with a grin. Ron/Eomer blushed.

"Oh shut up." Harry/Faramir had remained silent.

"Sure, I'll go." Said Hermione/Eowyn and got up, brushing the grass off of her dress. She walked in the tower through the back door and walked up to the table, getting food on plates.

**********

"Well I'm back brother," she said and stopped in her tracks. Ron/Eomer and Harry/Faramir were nowhere to be seen. She sighed and walked around to the front and spotted them standing outside the Houses of Healing, talking. She set down the plates on a bench and walked up to them, tapping them on the shoulders. They turned around.

"Oh hello," Ron said.

"You could've told me you were going here," she said kind of bitterly, but with a smirk.

"Sorry, we didn't think about it," said Harry/Faramir and grinned.

"King Eomer!" said a woman, her golden hair flying behind her as she ran towards them.

Chapter Four

"Um hi," said Ron/Eomer, goggling at the woman. She smiled and stopped in front of them.

"Hello, Lady, Steward," she bowed her head and looked up at Ron/Eomer.

"Do I have the pleasure of knowing you?" he said rather regally and she smiled.

"Do you not remember?" she looked slightly dismayed.

"Not really I've met many fair, um, women, in my days," he said, looking at Hermione/Eowyn and Harry/Faramir, who were grinning.

"I am Galadrien daughter of Queen Arwen and King Elessar," said Galadrien. Hermione gasped and pulled Harry over on the side of the Houses of Healing, in some bushes.

"Harry, I feel weird," she said and he gasped and looked at her.

"You're Hermione again!" he said and she looked down at her clothes, jeans and a blue long-sleeved shirt and gasped.

"Shit! How-why? I was having a good time as Eowyn," she said and Harry looked down at himself too. Hermione blushed, thinking about the kiss they'd shared earlier. Harry must've realized that too, because he blushed also.

"I may not be your husband, but I still want to kiss you," he said and leaned over, kissing her lightly at first. Suddenly Hermione and Harry jerked apart, because they felt Minas Tirith whirling around them and Hermione looked at her Time-Turner and the sand was pouring in the other side. She shut her eyes and soon she, Harry, and Ron landed hard in McGonagall's office. She peered over square glasses at them.

"So how did it go?" Ron looked up.

"What? Hermione, Harry, you've changed back. I suppose I'm Ron again...man, after I'd met Galadrien too." He sighed heavily.

"Galadrien? I have a feeling you three didn't go to the immediate past." Hermione sighed.

"Um, not exactly. We went back to Middle-earth. Thirty sixty-two to be exact. I was Eowyn Lady of Ithilien and Harry was my husband-" Hermione blushed at this "-Faramir of Gondor and Ron was my brother, Eomer." She said and Professor McGonagall's eyes grew huge.

"You went back to the Lord of the Rings trilogy? Oh my-Hermione, this is amazing."

"How long were we gone?" Harry asked and they got up, and Hermione sighed at her reflection, especially the long bushy brown hair. Otherwise, she looked a little like Eowyn, except for that factor.

"Four hours," said McGonagall. "The potion was to return you to the present after four hours."

"Oh, okay." Hermione nodded.

"You may go," said McGonagall. They trudged back to the Gryffindor common room, talking excitedly about their experience.

Chapter Five

Hermione walked straight to the seventh year girls' dorms and pulled out a bottle of Sleakeazy's Hair Potion-she was determined to look more like Eowyn-Harry seemed to like her more when she looked like that. She knew she was acting a little crazy, but she was desperate. She applied it and instantly dried her hair with her wand. She flipped it over her shoulder and looked in her wardrobe for a skirt, or a dress. She found a cute khaki skirt that came to just above her knees and a soft pink cardigan that said in white glittery letters, "I shop at the GAP of Rohan." She changed into that and walked back downstairs. She sat down by Harry at the table and pulled her Arithmancy book out of her bag, opening it to a random page and pretended to read but couldn't help the grin on Harry's face.

"Hermione, come here," he said and pulled her outside of the common room, just around a corner.

"Harry, what-"

He pinned her to the wall, his hands on her shoulders, and kissed her. She wrapped her arms around him and leaned back against the wall, and his hands moved up to where he was holding her face in his hands.

"Potter, Granger, you may be Head Boy and Girl, but I will not tolerate public displays of affection. Twenty points from Gryffindor and if I see it again, it'll be fifty," said Professor Snape, passing them. Harry made a rather rude gesture behind Snape's back and, giggling, Hermione and Harry walked back to the Gryffindor common room, where Ron was staring at them as they came in.

"What?" Hermione asked, grinning. Harry sighed and sat down. Ron shook his head. Hermione walked to the table and sat down beside Harry again.

"Seamus, I told you, Professor Trelawney is right!" Lavender Brown came downstairs from the boys' dorms talking to Seamus Finnigan. Hermione raised her eyebrows and Lavender grinned.

"I dunno I mean, I think she's got some issues," Seamus said. Hermione choked back a laugh.

"Oh yeah, Hermione, where were you?" Lavender asked and sat down beside her. Hermione looked at Harry and Ron and they burst out laughing.

"Um nowhere," said Hermione and Lavender sighed.

"Okay..."
