The Art of Seduction

Chapter One - I'm Good

Is it true that I'm the one making you nervous?
Trying real hard as bound for show shit
By you and your crew, that's helpless
You saw that X5, that's me out side
I know you, kinda seem so confused
You cant understand how my diamonds bling through
But its cool its true, its unusual
A girl so fly out shining a guy

We can talk about this, lets talk about it
We can talk about this, don't think about it
About me on the floor, that's what I came here for
So pump ya breaks it seem as if ya wantin' more

It aint me, I'm sorry you got the wrong one
It aint me, I just came out to have fun
It aint me, go out and find another one
I don't like what your kickin' son, now leave

Cause even if I leave alone, I'm good
And even if you come along, I'm good
Don't mean a thing to me cause, I'm good
With or without you
If you wanna play games with me then, I'm good
Say what you do for me than, I'm good
You don't really mean a thing cause, I'm good
With or without you

I'm good I'm good without you
I'm good I'm good
I'm good I'm good without you
I'm good I'm good

'I'm Good' by Blaque

Delphine De Coulet didn't even blink as yet another gaggle of boys cannoned into the hovering wooden advertising poster outside the expensive cafe on the outskirts of Diagon Alley. Not even sparing them a glance as they stumbled through the door and collapsed into chairs around a table opposite hers still gaping at her very obviously, she took a sip of her coffee and flipped the page of the book she was immersed in. She was well used to her beautiful face attracting the not entirely unwanted attentions of the male gender but she rarely paid any attention to the awed stares unless they specifically interested her.

"Hi."

Delphine raised her dark grey gaze from the book in her long delicate white hands and a smirk twisted her full rosy lips. She snapped the book closed and carelessly and half leaned forward towards her best friend who had silently joined her.

"Well?"

Lallie grinned and handed Delphine an envelope which contained two heavy parchment tickets engraved with golden curly writing. An actual smile graced Delphine's lips and there was a nervous crash from the opposite table as one of the boys missed his saucer with his mug and managed to spill coffee all down his front.

The two girls ignored this as Delphine settled back smirking to herself as she thought, her hands cupped around her coffee mug. She'd allow her brother to escort her to the ball and ditch him as soon as she'd hooked one of Europe's Most Eligible Bachelors.

Delphine had been blessed with many talents as well as her amazing beauty; she was smart, wily and could charm anyone into anything. She was the most determined person most people would ever meet; once she saw something, although it was usually someone, she wanted she got it no matter what.

"Did you get your own invitation?"

Lallie nodded and waved her hand airily as she answered, her rather short mahogany hair falling into her face as she spoke.

"Naturally."

Delphine lapsed back into thought and ran her fingertip along the rim of her mug as she worked out her plan in her head. She knew she could have any of the men she wanted at the party tonight, even the married men; come to think of it especially the married men, but she wanted one and she was going to get him.

"Delphine?"

Snapped out of her thoughts she glanced up irritably to see a hauntingly handsome young man looking down on her.

"Sam?"

He visibly shuddered at the sound of his voice spoken in that lyrically seductive voice from those beautiful lips.

"You never called."

Delphine raised a perfectly arched eyebrow at him and tilted her head to the side as she surveyed him with suddenly cold eyes.

"I never planned to."

He winced and Lallie felt a pinprick of pity for him before it was gone and she shook her head with the smallest of movements; he knows Delphine, if not by reputation than by experience by now. She took what she wanted and gave nothing more in return, it was a simple life filled with walls and boundaries she had built up to protect herself from being hurt.

"You knew what it was all about before it happened."

Sam looked angry now, his handsome face screwed up into a mask of hate and pain as he watched her, her own face was as impassive as his was expressive; she didn't care."

"So that's all it was about; the sex."

Delphine didn't even flinch as she nodded her head, he had already known it so what was wrong with admitting it out loud. For a moment Sam looked about to strike her, instead he ran his hand through his hair before leaving, his shoulders slouched desolately.

"One day, you're going to fall in love you know. And then what will you do?"

Delphine turned to study Lallie who was watching her with a curious expression on a face filled with affection.

"Fall in love? Why would I want that? It's a stupid worthless emotion that can never do anyone any good."

Lallie just rolled her eyes and took a sip of her own coffee. Delphine leaned back in her chair and turned to stare out of the dusty window to her left, her own coffee forgotten as she assessed the many males moving around outside. Spotting her brother emerging from the most expensive hotel with a slightly rumpled looking girl besides him she smirked when he hurriedly bundled her into the Central Apparating Headquarters next door.

"Ah, Kai's just got rid of his latest victim then."

Delphine glanced sideways at her best friend who was glaring mistrustfully at the tall handsome young man now heading down the street followed by the eyes of almost every female there. She had always wondered about Lallie and Kai; the two had known each other as long as Delphine had known Lallie but as far as she knew nothing had ever happened between them and their playful animosity had always been evident. She shrugged it off and rose gracefully to her feet, tossing a few coins on the table to pay for the drinks she smoothed down her knee-length white silk skirt patterned with indigo coloured roses.

She could feel the gaze of the boys opposite their table scorching into her as she moved towards the door; she felt their eyes travel from her calve-length purple suede boots over the skirt that emphasised the smooth movement of her minute waist, shapely hips and backside and up to her dark purple suede bodice. She knew instantly when their hormonal charged stares grazed her face because the heat increased and she rolled her eyes to herself, ignoring them skilfully and shoving open the door with her hip since her hands were filled with bags and bags of shopping from the most expensive boutiques in Diagon alley and sending the bell above the door crazy.

"Kai."

Kai smirked and turned away from the two blonde beauties he had been bewitching as he heard his beloved sister's purring greeting.

"Bonjour, mademoiselle."

He lowered his head to kiss her hand and the two blondes giggled at his use of French; the language of love.

"Bonjour, monsieur, ?a va?"

His seductively curling lips tweaked upwards even further as he relinquished her hand and raised his head of ruffled black curls to look her in the eye.

"Tr?s bien, merci. Tu et?"

Delphine tilted her head again and shot a quick glance at the blondes who were whispering and glancing at Kai's back continuously as the siblings conversed.

"Teneur, merci. Ce soir?"

Kai surveyed her for a moment before nodding slowly and looking slyly towards the blondes. Delphine had no doubt she would come across the two girls later that night either.

"Ce soir."

There was no need for unnecessary words as the two siblings kissed each of their cheeks and Delphine took her leave, followed by Lallie.

Draco Malfoy felt two small cool hands rest on his waist, bared as his black silk boxers rested perilously low on his hips, and drifted forward to lie flat against his navel.

"Good morning."

Draco made a noise at the back of his throat as an answer and he felt his latest conquest stiffen slightly against him; she knew what was coming.

"I'll have a carriage waiting to take you back to Diagon Alley."

The hands left him but he didn't turn around from his place on the balcony of his huge room at the back of Malfoy Manor. His gaze was focused on his acres and acres of land, stretching as far as he cared to look. After his father had been sent to Azkaban and eventually sentenced to the Dementor's Kiss for murdering his mother, he had inherited Malfoy Manor and all the surrounding lands which were what attracted most of his conquests when coupled with his breathtaking beauty.

"What do you mean?"

He still didn't turn around but his sharp ears told him of her movements around the room, he heard the clicking of the beads fringing her evening dress as she pulled it on.

"Don't act stupid when your not, you know what I mean."

He heard her quick intake of breath and indignant slamming of her feet on the marble floor as she stormed towards where the rest of her scattered clothes lay. Then there was something else. He whirled around and crossed the room to where she was standing in seconds, his hand wrapping around her wrist and yanking it towards him. He tightened his grip until her hand opened in reflex and he caught the two priceless emerald cufflinks engraved with the silver M of the Malfoys he had also inherited.

"I just wanted something to remind me."

He ignored the tears blurring her eyes and the pained look on her pretty face as he shoved her hand back at her and tossed the cufflinks into the drawer of his desk on the way back to the balcony.

"Well don't, you're better off if you forget."

His voice was cold as he returned to staring out at the horizon but she could tell he wasn't actually seeing the land before him; he was a complicated puzzle she wasn't sure she wanted to figure out.

"I think I have less chance of that than you."

He made another noise like a sigh deep in his throat and she hurriedly blinked away her tears and grabbed her high heels, shawl and bag.

"Don't try and work me out."

His voice was low and dangerous and she paused with her hand on the doorknob, the door opened slightly towards her. He heard her move her weight from one foot to the other as she opened her mouth to say something. He was slightly surprised when he heard the door close with a soft click behind her. He gave and impatient growl and turned away from the balcony, pulling checking his watch that lay forgotten on the desk before heading into his adjoining en suite bathroom for a shower.

Delphine had spent the first ten years of her life in France, living with her family in the grand Ch?teau de Coulet on the outskirts of Calais enjoying an entirely French education. By the time she was approaching eleven she could speak fluent French and English and was highly called upon to sing at various prestigious family gatherings across France. When she was actually eleven, two days after her birthday in fact, the family packed up their lives, entrusted the running of the ch?teau to Delphine's mother's sister and crossed the Channel to England where they settled down to their new lives.

Delphine and Kai had attended Hogwarts from the beginning and had immediately been accepted simply because of their beauty and wealth. Eventually they had come to be admired for their wily insistent ways and complete lack of arrogance over their miraculous looks.

Much to Delphine's disappointment she hadn't started at Hogwarts until the great 'Boy Who Lived' Harry Potter was in his third year so she hadn't legally come of age until after he had left; still he was in the top five of Europe's Most Eligible Bachelor's List as voted by Witch Weekly's thousands of female readers so she would get her chance at him tonight.

When her parents had died in the final battle against Voldemort in her fifth year Kai and herself had luckily been of age so didn't have to move back to the ch?teau with their aunt. They were given the choice, however, of moving back to France and transferring to Beauxbatons to finish their school years or remaining where they were. They stayed. The pair also became inseparable, telling the other everything and trusting them above all others; they were all they had left.

Of course having their own mansion and an expansive two floor penthouse in central London to themselves besides the servants, meant they had a lot of freedom and slowly but surely Delphine had developed her extravagant lifestyle, using men for her basic needs but never keeping one longer than was necessary.

She brooded on Sam's anger at the cafe as she prepared for the Bachelor Ball that evening, seeing his angered face in her mind as she soaked in a huge bath big enough for two at least three quarters filled with scented water hot enough to steam up the marble bathroom the size of McGonagall's classroom.

Extending one of her long smooth legs out of the water so she could mutter a Shaving Charm the bubbles raced each other down her thigh and contrasted greatly with the natural slight tan of her legs. He knows it was just plain old fun, no strings attached! They all knew. She gave an irritated growl and grabbed the loofah from the floor besides the tub. She scrubbed herself vigorously from head to toe before washing her hair, emerging from under the water with her hair thrown back dripping bubbles and rose petals. She wasn't the slightest bit surprised to see Kai stood in the doorway when she opened her eyes, his own gaze fixed determinedly on hers as she shifted slightly so the bubbles covered more of her. He instantly slipped into perfect French as they so often did around each other, most of the time they made the switch without realising it;

"You got yourself invited to the Bachelor Ball I see."

Delphine didn't bother replying as the answer was fairly self-evident so she lay back against the edge of the bath again and watched him leaning against the doorframe clad only in his black leather trousers and tight deep crimson t-shirt for the ball that evening.

"Naturally."

He smirked at her and moved to where her extremely short black silk kimono was draped over the chair by the sink. He hooked it onto his finger and stepped onto the slightly upraised platform where the tub was and held it out for her, obediently turning his face away from her and closing his eyes as she rose from the bath, water racing down her perfect body quickly followed by her towel as she dried herself off and slipped on the kimono.

He followed behind her down numerous corridors until they reached her bedroom and she turned in the doorway before he could enter.

"Now now Kai, you can't very well dress me can you? And you yourself have to get ready for those blondes."

He looked thoughtful as he nodded but didn't move an inch, he glanced up at her with a wicked glint in his eye and she glared at him suspiciously; she knew that look only too well.

"I was just curious, which bachelor is it in particular you're so fixated on?"

Delphine scowled for a moment before smiling at him and reaching up to pat his cheek with her hand.

"Tonight, dear brother, tonight."

She slammed the door in his face before he could even blink and she leaned back against it with a smirk on her face before heading into the room to get ready. She stripped her kimono and tossed it onto the floor before moving over to her huge cream and ebony king size bed and seizing the new underwear laid out across it.

Ripping off the price tags without looking at them she slipped the two simple triangular black lace material held together by two ribbons that made up the knickers on and clipped the matching bra together quickly. Without the slightest bit of shyness she crossed the room in her underwear and sat down at her makeup table, looking up at the three huge oval mirrors hovering in front and to the sides of her and each ringed by minute black and white spiralled candles.

She smiled at her reflection in anticipation of the future night's events as she made up her face. She had her outfit planned exactly, right down to the tiniest speck of body glitter; she knew that the men she was going to meet tonight would be totally past the giggling just-of-age kind of girl, with the exception of her brother of course, and were on the lookout for the dark mysterious girl they had to actually chase to get. That was what she had to be tonight.

For starters she knew her smoky grey eyes were her best feature; they just screamed secrets so she put as much emphasis as she could on them, ringing them in several layers of thick black eyeliner and fading the dark grey eyeshadow upwards. Adding heavy layers of wizarding mascara that curled the lashes as it went on she edged the eyeliner outwards towards her temples in Cleopatra-style sweeps which she then added a single clear tear-shaped gem to the edges of each and a circular one just next to her tear-duct.

"Delphine darling I brought those shoes you asked for... Jesus Christ!"

Delphine grinned at Lola, the chef's daughter she was slightly younger than Delphine but almost as determined in life, as she froze in the doorway and stood gaping at Delphine.

"Thanx Lola."

Lola snapped to the present and wandered into the room, dropping the shoes carefully onto Delphine's immaculate bed besides the dress and dropped down onto the cushioned black wooden chest at the end of it.

"Merlin Delphine! Your eyes, they look totally... hypnotic!"

Delphine smirked and glanced quickly at Lola's awed reflection in her makeup mirror before finishing off her makeup as she hummed lightly.

"You should come tonight, Lola. It'll be fun."

Lola lowered her eyes and shrugged, slumping back against the wooden back of the bed and digging her bare toes moodily into the fluffy cream carpet.

"Like my father will let me; 'you're not one of them my dear, you will not become a stuck-up bitch who cares nothing for anyone but themselves.' No offence."

Delphine shrugged the implied insult from Lola's father off; she was too used to being stereotyped to bother anymore.

"I still think you should come, Kai has a Plus-One on his invitation..."

Lola shook her head sending her cherry-red ringlets whipping about her face; Delphine shrugged and dropped the subject. She liked Lola; she was sweet and straightforward unlike the girls she used to be forced to hang around with when her parents were alive, now they were stuck-up.

Having outlined her lips in a very dark red lipstick and added just the tiniest touch of glittery blusher to her high cheekbones she moved onto her hair.

"Hey Lola, can you help me with this for a second please?"

Lola jumped up eagerly and ran over to her, she hero-worshipped Delphine and was determined to become just like her when she eventually gathered enough money from her many part-time jobs to escape her father's fond clutches.

"Can you just hold back the parts of hair I've curled for me while I do the rest? Thanks."

The process of curling Delphine's masses of beautifully thick shiny hair an even darker shade of black than Harry Potter's; like pure midnight sky interwoven into her hair, took much longer than Lola had expected.

"Now I know why you started getting ready two and half hours before you have to leave."

Delphine grinned at Lola again as she put the last finishing touches to her hair and Lola retreated back to her previous seat.

"I wish I could do my hair and face like you."

Delphine faltered slightly as she pinned her hair up at the back of her head so each of the individual ringlets fell down the back of her neck and two curls framed her pale made-up face. Her head glittered with the hundreds of tiny diamante pins that held her hair up catching and glittering in the light as she turned to look fully at Lola, not just her reflection this time.

"One day, I'll teach you."

Lola beamed at her before jumping at the sound of her father's voice echoing through the room from the speaker-box besides Delphine's bed.

"Lola, I need you in the kitchen."

Lola sighed and got to her feet turning to look at Delphine who was still watching her fondly.

"You're going to regret having that thing installed you know."

Delphine chuckled as Lola grinned ruefully and headed for the door, she paused with the door half shut.

"And Delphine, have fun; for both of us."

Delphine froze halfway through turning back to the window and smiled at Lola as she carefully pulled the door shut.

"Draco, I thought you were quitting."

Draco irritably stubbed out his half-smoked cigarette and glared at the voluptuous woman sprawled across the hundreds of cushions piled up in a corner of the room in the basement of Malfoy Manor.

"I don't recall asking for your opinion, Ariel."

The girl pouted and extended a seemingly endless smooth brown leg, her dark skin shining with the body lotion she had just been rubbing in, gently caressing the inner thigh of his right leg with her foot. Draco shoved her foot away from him and dusted down his tight black suede trousers, turning his back on Ariel.

"When are you going to give in and use me for what your father intended you to?"

Ariel's dark hands and arms circling his shoulders and tracing over the contours of his bare chest made a stark contrast to his own unusually pale skin. He could feel her beautiful practically naked body pressed against his back and he quickly lifted her hands and slipped out of her embrace. Crossing the room he pulled on his jet-black shirt and buttoned it up, sighing as Ariel approached him from behind again and wrapped her arms around his waist.

"I've no intentions of using you for what my father wanted. Now let go so I can finish getting ready for this damned Bachelor's Ball."

Ariel pouted and pressed her body flush against Draco's, her almost transparent gold slip shifting against the fabric of his shirt. He could feel the heat of her body through his shirt and he was instantly aware she was naked beneath the slip.

"Why not? I wouldn't mind."

Her breath was hot on his ear as she ran her tongue along his earlobe, nibbling at it gently as her hands wandered lower. Draco grabbed her hands before she could undo his trousers and threw her hands away from him, stalking across the room to pull on his dragon-hide boots under his trousers.

Ariel scowled at him and returned to the cushions, her hips swaying seductively as she walked and her long braided ebony hair swinging down her back, the tips of it just sweeping the cleft of her buttocks. As soon as she was once more sprawled wantonly across the cushions she fixed her huge almond shaped eyes on him as he finished with his boots and ran a hand through his hair which fell instantly back into place around his face.

"You will, sooner or later."

Draco raised his eyes to meet her almost entirely black gaze and raised an eyebrow at her; she glowered at him but lowered her eyes.

"You doubt how strong willed I actually am, you shouldn't."

Ariel muttered something under breath that sounded like Lucius but Draco ignored her and moved to pull on his ivy-green suede blazer. He hadn't wanted Ariel in the first place but his father had insisted on giving him the seductive girl for his sixteenth birthday to 'practise on' Draco however had never touched her sexually and didn't plan to; she had no doubt been tried and tested by his father and it made him sick to think of touching a woman he had touched.

Ariel didn't look up again until the door had slammed shut behind Draco's back.

"Well mademoiselle de Coulet, you look radiant."

Delphine smirked at Kai as he stood at the bottom of the curving stairs waiting for her to descend. It was true her dress looked as though it had been made entirely to fit her; the silver-grey silk slipping over her body like a second skin as it flowed from the under-the-bust velvet corset to the swirling skirts skin-tight at the waist and flowing down to become semi-transparent mid-thigh. Her cleavage was emphasised by the silky material the same as at her waist that joined to the sleeves without touching her shoulders. The sleeves were held to her arm by a jewelled band around her upper-arm before falling past her hands at her sides so her arms were free to move.

Her feet clicked on the marble stairs with every step she took, her entirely diamante stilettos sparkling as brightly as her dress as her silver bangles jangled sweetly against each other as she ran her hand lightly along the banister.

"Merci, you don't look too much of a lost cause yourself."

Kai grinned and kissed her hand before heading out of the door to where the carriage was waiting to take them to the Ball.
