Chapter Three: Late Night Potions...

Ginny stared at the swirling thick, dark mud colored potion in her caldron. She became entranced with its swirling colors. Professor Snape was in the middle of explaining how important it is to get this potion right the first time.

" You must understand that you have to get it right, you can only imagine what it might be like if, say, you were turned into a cat instead of a girl you wanted to switch bodies with." Snape grinned an evil grin, "Ginny! Are you listening to me?"

"Yesss..." lied Ginny, with a sweet smile on her face.

"Well, if you were listening so closely then what did I just say?"

"You were talking about... ummm... about let's see here. Do you mean that you want me to tell you what you were just talking about? Or what you were talking about before that?" Ginny was trying to buy time to recall what he had been talking about.

"What was I just talking about Ginny?" Snape asked in an irritated voice.

"Okay well, you said that, ummm... that you have to turn into a cat to get it right for the girl who wants you?" Ginny knew it would be a long shot, but she had to try to answer.

"HAHHAHAHHAHAHEHEHHEHEHHAHAHAH" The class burst out laughing. Everyone was laughing and repeating what she had said.

"I'm sorry but that's not the right answer Ms. Weasley. It seems as though Virginia Weasley wont be able to Weasel her way out of this one." Snape said with a stare that could kill, "I'll be expecting you here at 10:00pm tonight to serve your detention. I will also be taking away 10 points from Gryfindor for your lame answer." Turning to the class he said, " You are dismissed and don't forget you have a 12 page essay to write about Polyjuice Potions due next Monday!"

"Aww Man!" yelled a bunch of the kids in the class.

"There isn't 12 pages that you CAN write about on stupid Polyjuice Potions!" yelled Colin Creevey, a boy who had been obsessed with Harry Potter since their first year at Hogwarts.

"Thank you for noticing that Mr. Creevey, You may join Ginny in detention tonight." said Snape without even looking up from his paperwork.

"Bugger!" Colin swore under his breath.

"Excuse me?" Snape snapped his head up from his papers.

"I said... I said, Yes Sir." Colin figured that would get him out of it.

"And 10 points from Gryfindor for your bad choice of language." Snape said turning his attention back to his paperwork. "You may leave now, both of you Ms Weasley."

Ginny and Colin promptly left Snape's potion class. Well they were walking down the hallway together; Colin decided to strike a conversation.

"So, ummm... do you like him?" Colin said nervously.

"Like who?" Ginny responded in confusion.

"Snape."

"Oh, him. No I hate the bloody old git."

"I totally agree."

"I can't believe he wants us to write 12 whole pages on that Polyjuice potion stuff!"

"Ya!" Colin piped up, glad she agreed with him.

"He really expects too much of us."

" I don't think it's that at all," quipped Colin, "I think he just hates us. I mean he never gives detentions out to those stuck up prats in Slytherin."

"I know," Ginny sighed, "Especially Malfoy."

"I think he favors them."

"Too bad Professor Mc Gonagal doesn't favor us."

"I agree."

Out of the blue a house elf came running down the hall screaming that the kitchen was on fire.

"HELP US HELP US!" Screamed a panicking elf, "THE KITCHEN'S ON FIRE!"

"CUT! WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING! YOU MY FRIEND ARE CRAMPING MY STLYE! I AM TRYING TO MAKE A STORY HERE AND YOU SUDDENLY DECIDE TO...."

"OH PLEASE YOU THINK I WOULD DO SOMETHING THAT STUPID!"

"Chrisoula_77, OF COURSE I THINK YOU DID IT! YOU ARE RIGHTING THIS HALF OF THIS STORY TOO!"

"BUT I SWEAR I DIDN'T DO IT! I WOULDN'T WRITE THINK OF SOMETHING THAT STUPID!"

"WELL IF YOU DIDN'T WRITE IT THEN..."

"SIRS, SIRS! THE KITCHEN IS REALLY ON FIRE!" SCREAMED THE HOUSE ELF.

Ginny and Colin starred at the two authors quarreling by the frantic house elf.

"Who are they?" Ginny whispered to Colin.

"I don't know. Should we leave?" Colin replied.

"What about the kitchen? Shouldn't we help out?" Ginny whispered back.

"I don't really think we should, I mean we would probably only make it worse."

"Maybe you would screw it up, but not me!" Ginny hissed.

"Okay, okay. Calm down, I still don't think we should!" Colin hissed back.

"Fine lets go then." Ginny started to walk around them and once passed she dashed up the stairs to their dorm.

As Ginny entered the common room, she looked around and almost right away found who she was looking for, Aigle. Many boys surrounded her, but she was looking very bored. As soon as Aigle spotted Ginny she jumped to her feet and yelled to her.

"Ginny! There you are, I have been looking all over for you!"

"I have been looking for you all day too!" Ginny said though a smile.

"Well, actually I haven't, but it sounds like something friendly to start a conversation with." Aigle said walking towards her. "Please help me. They're so boring." She said whispering to her and gesturing towards the guys that had been surrounding her. "Why don't we go for a walk!"

"Okay!" Ginny responded enthusiastically.

They turned around and walked out the portrait hole, down the stairs and then Ginny stopped walking and realized that they were right back at the spot she and Colin had just fled.

"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU HAVEN'T CALLED SOMEONE YET! I MEAN TO SAY THE BLOODY KITCHEN IS ON FIRE!!!"

"WELL SORRRRRRRY!"

"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU!"

"OKAY OKAY I ADMIT IT! I DID SET THE KITCHEN ON FIRE! BUT YOU CAN'T BLAME ME! YOU DON'T HAVE A SINGLE FUNNY BONE IN YOUR BODY! I'M THE ONE INVENTING ALL THE FUNNY BITS!"

"OH! SO IT'S YOU WHO THIKS THIS LITTLE ARGUMENT IS FUNNY HUH! WERE YOU THE ONE WHO DECIDED TO PUT THIS IN THE STORY?"

"NO IT WASN'T ME! I THOUGHT IT WAS YOU!"

"IT WASN'T!"

"WELL THEN WHO WAS IT?"

"IT WAS ME!" Aigle butted in to their stupid argument.

"AND JUST WHO ARE YOU?" Dragonfly88 said in rage.

"SHE IS AIGLE AND SHE IS MY CHARACTER! I PUT HER IN THIS STORY! REMEMBER?"

"Oh right...sorry Aigle...I got carried away..."

"That is perfectly alright, I forgive you." Aigle said in an I'm-above-the-law kind of voice. "Now will you please leave o we can resume this story?"

"How do you know this is a story?"

"I know many things...now please leave." Aigle said with force.

With that, the two authors disappeared, still bickering about who has written the most.

"Wow, that was pretty cool!" Exclaimed Ginny.

"Ya, Well..."

BACK TO THE STORY...

"I have to go to the dungeons for my detention right now, so goodbye." Ginny said in a pathetic voice.

"That's okay. I'll walk you there!" Exclaimed Aigle.

"Great! The last thing I want is to be alone in the dungeons, it's creepy down there!"

"HEY GINNY! GINNY! IT"S ME! COLIN! WAIT UP!" Colin came running down the hallway towards them.

"Oh, Hey Colin!" Ginny said.

"I was just... wondering if you *pant* needed an escort to the dungeons..." Colin said through pants.

"Ummmm, well, you see..." Ginny started to tell him that she didn't when,

"OF course she does! In fact I was just about to leave to go to the library anyways! Have fun in your Detention!" Aigle burst off down the hall leaving a very embarrassed Ginny and a very happy Colin.

"So, what do you think Snape has in store for us tonight?" Colin said calmly.

"I'm not sure." Ginny sighed just thinking about detention with that bastard Snape.

"Umm Ginny, You know I was a... Wondering if you, umm you know, wanted to go on a..a... a date?" Colin sighed after asking this question.

"Oh, wow! Well, you know what? I would LOVE to go on a date with you!" Ginny said happily. It had been so long since she had gone on a date and she was just happy he had asked her. Besides, Colin wasn't that bad. He was actually pretty cute when you look at him that way.

"You WOULD! Great! Umm, how's tonight?"

"Well, sure! But where will we go?" Ginny asked, confused.

"Oh, I know a place we can go, just be ready to go at 10:30. Okay?" Colin said.

"Okay! Sounds mysterious... Colin, please promise me you wont try anything, you know, just to get with me, because I'll kick your ass." Ginny said sternly.

"I wont. I promise." Colin crossed his fingers behind his back as he said this.

Just then they arrived at the dungeons and opened the doors to see no other then Draco Malfoy sitting in Snape's chair.

"Malfoy." Ginny whispered. She turned pale and turned to walk out the door but was grabbed gently by Colin.

"Ginny, you can't leave. If you do Snape will think we're late." Colin said gently to her. Then he turned to Draco and said roughly, "You have got some explaining to do!"

"Actually, I don't. What I do have to do is supervise you two well you follow through with your detentions." Draco said slyly.

"WHAT! Where's Snape?" Colin exclaimed, holding Ginny up right. She almost fainted when Draco said that.

"He's on a trip to the Ministry's office. Now for your detentions, Let's see here, Colin, You are supposed to go to the potions supply rooms to re organize and re-fill all the bottles. Ginny, You are supposed to stay in the classroom to clean the tables. Colin you'd better get started NOW!"

"Fine, Ginny I'm sorry. I'll be back soon, I don't want us to be late for our date." Colin turned and went into the potions supply rooms.

"Ginny, Ginny, Ginny. You went and got yourself into trouble. You should have known not to try to avoid me forever. Silly girl."

"Draco, I know you can't hurt me. You can't lay a finger on me. If you do, I'll scream and Colin will come in here and kick your ass!" Ginny said bravely, even though she knew Colin wouldn't be able to hurt Draco at all.

"Ginny, you know I want you. You don't know why, do you?"

"N...no I don't" Ginny stuttered, Draco was moving closer to her.

"To tell you the truth, I desire you, it's a craving deep down inside of me. Do you like me in the slightest?" Draco said with a teasing grin.

"I don't know." Ginny sighed.

"Don't give me an answer I would expect from a 5 year old Damn it!"

Ginny winced slightly for Draco was standing 4 inches away from her face. She could smell his breath floating towards her. Mmm, Minty fresh. Ginny shook her head and stood up tall.

"Draco you have to step away from me, now." Ginny emphasized the last word. She was feeling pretty brave.

"You have a point Ginny, I shouldn't be doing this, But I am." Draco grinned a wicked grin and brought his lips close to hers. In a spilt second, Draco's lips were upon hers.

"N...." Ginny started to say something but Draco took the opportunity to slip his tongue deep into her mouth making her gag. Draco ignored her protests and slipped his tongue in deeper, pulling her so tightly to his body, that she couldn't breath.

Ginny tried resisting but he was a lot stronger than her. She wasn't about to give in though. Ginny was PISSED. He had no right to treat her like this. Draco doesn't own me! She thought. After what had happened last time, she wasn't about to let him get the best of her. Ginny started to squirm, making Draco break the kiss.

"What are you doing?" Draco exclaimed.

"GET AWAY FROM ME!" Ginny screamed.

Draco jumped back as Colin entered the room.

"Ginny! Are you okay?" Colin turned to Draco, " WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU DOING TO HER!"

"N...nothing." Draco had been caught red handed.

"Ginny, let's get out of here." Colin walked over to where Ginny was and pulled her out of the room.

It wasn't until they were standing in his bedroom that he let go of her arm.

"Ginny, what the hell was that?" Colin said in anger.

"I...I... Thank you." Ginny said just before she burst out in tears.

"Oh, Ginny." Colin pulled her into the softest most loving hug she had ever had. Colin noticed that she stopped crying almost the instant he hugged her.

"I don't know what I'm going to do! It's just that Malfoy wont leave me alone! He...he..." Ginny stopped. Even though she wanted to tell Colin, she couldn't get it out.

"It's okay Ginny, he's gone now. Shhhhh.... You're okay now...shhhh I'm right here." Colin whispered this and then sat her down on his bed.

"Do you want to stay here or go for a walk?" Colin asked very patiently.

"Let's walk." Ginny said this so quietly that it almost didn't come out.

"Okay. We can go outside on my broom if you want, that way no one will see us." Colin said softly.

"Okay." Ginny whispered.

Colin got up slowly and went over to his trunk. He got out his broom and helped her on, then got on himself and jumped out the window.

They were flying through the sky when Colin turned his head and asked, "Are you ready to talk?"

"Not yet." And with that she wrapped her arms around Colin's waist and leaned up against him.

After about an hour of just flying Ginny said, "I'm ready."

Colin tilted the broom and landed on top of the Astronomy tower. Ginny didn't want to let go of Colin just yet and Colin noticed. When they were both off the broom Colin sat down on the edge of the tower and motioned for Ginny to sit down next to him. When she did, He pulled her into another of his hugs. Ginny relaxed into the warmth of his body and then started to talk.

"Well, you see when I was shopping for my Hogwarts stuff in Diagon Alley, Draco came up to me and threatened me. He said that he wanted me and then I got scared because he kissed me and he wouldn't let me go. My friend Aigle came after he had left and helped me up."

"Did he hurt you?" Colin asked calmly. If he did I'll kill him.

"Yes." Ginny shuddered just thinking about it.

"How did he hurt you?" Colin questioned.

"He gave me bruises on my arms. He pressed me against the wall really hard and he wouldn't let me go. I was really scared." Ginny shuddered again, remembering the pain he had caused her.

"Did he touch you at all after that and before now?" Colin was getting really pissed of at Malfoy but said this calmly.

"Y...yes. He did. I was on the Hogwarts express and he came into my cabin and stole my wand, when I told him to leave he tried to kiss me. I didn't want him to and tried to fight him off but he's way too strong for me. He...hhe climbed on top of me and he...he, I kicked him where it hurts and he left. But first he told me I wouldn't be able to resist him forever."

"Ginny, what happened to you right now?" Colin said in a soothing voice.

"Well, Malfoy he yelled at me and told me that he craved me. He...h...h...he kissed me really hard and he hurt my back." Ginny found it was easy to talk to Colin about things then it was to talk to Aigle about things.

"Is there anything else that he did to you?" Colin asked.

"No, that's it." Ginny sighed. She had finally told someone everything!

"Ginny, I promise not to let anything else happen to you."

"Thank you Colin. Thank you so much." Ginny was really happy to have Colin there with her. She was happy it wasn't someone else.

"Would you hurt me much if I kissed you right now?" Colin whispered in her ear.

"No..." Ginny tilted her head up and let Colin kiss her gently. His kiss was soft and succulent, soothing and kind. She opened her mouth in a soft moan and expected his tongue to slip in, but, knowing she had been through enough, he resisted the urge to venture inside her beautiful mouth. Colin ended the kiss and pulled away. Ginny opened her eyes and looked up at him. She smiled a small but affectionate smile, tempting him to kiss her again. Colin wanted to kiss her and get swept away in it, but he knew if he did, then he'd get carried away.

"Ginny, I'd better take you back to your room, you look tired." Colin helped her up and then hugged her again. He broke away and helped her onto his broom. The second he got on, Ginny wrapped her arms around his waist and let him control the broom. Up they soared, and then they went down and through her bedroom window.

"Good-night Ginny." Colin said as he turned to fly back out the window.

"Good-night Colin." Ginny whispered and kissed him on the cheek. She turned around and walked towards her bed.

Ginny wanted to go to sleep for hours. But she knew that sleeping wouldn't make her forget about Draco Malfoy.
