Dragon Eyes

"Good morning Harry! How are you?"

"Oh 'morning Mrs. Weasley," Harry answered with a mouthful of toast," I'm ok. You?"

"Great! Good Morning Honey," Mrs. Weasley exclaimed and smothered Ginny in kiss and hugs." did you sleep all right?"

"I slept just fine Mum, now gerroff!" said a very annoyed Ginny.

Harry had been invited over to Ron's early in the summer. He accepted the invitation right away, all but sad to get away from the Dursleys. Harry had been awake for around an hour now and had been waiting for Ginny to come downstairs. Harry had wanted to talk to her for quite sometime now. He had no idea how he was going to say this to her, and what if she... 'oh just hurry up and do it before her mom comes back,' he said to himself, 'but you too much of a chicken!' a nasty voice said in the back of his head, ' I AM NOT!' And with that last bit of self-encouragement he turned to where Ginny was standing.

"Umm, ccccould youu wawalk with me ffor a while?" stuttered Harry in what he hoped wasn't a pleading voice.

"Umm, Okay I guess..." said Ginny awkwardly. ' Oh my gosh this is it, well at least I think it is, oh I hope it is!' Thoughts rushed madly through her head.

Before she could think any more Harry was taking her hand in his and leading her out of the Burrow. Ginny followed him in silent aw for she still couldn't believe Harry was holding her hand. 'Come on Ginny. Suck it up, your 16 now! Don't let him see that you like him.' She thought, ' But if your right about what he is going to do then... oh my gods, where is he taking me?' Ginny looked up and realized she had been starring at his hand for the past 5 minutes, and had no idea where they were!

Ginny looked up at Harry and he stopped walking. He wouldn't let go of her hand even though they were both sweating in the heat of the summer sun.

"Okay *sigh* here goes, Ginny I wanted to talk to you about, well, I don't know how to ask you this... will you go..." Harry started to say but was cut off by Ginny.

"Yes!" exclaimed Ginny.

"So you'll help me with my astronomy this year? Great! Thank you so much!" Harry continued, "You don't know what this means to me!"

"Uh...no problem." Ginny gave him a warm smile and thought to herself, 'Oh What An IDIOT I AM!'
