Someone to love

Prologue

The love of my life is in the hospital right now. Of course I haven’t told her how I feel. I had feelings for her every since she came to me with a problem.

She was having problems with her mother and father. They were getting a divorce. She told me she trusted me with this information, and that she couldn’t find anyone else to talk to.

Of course I agreed to talk with her. At first I was scared to let a little a bout me out, but I did anyway. That is when the feeling had started to develop. I was kind of scared of these feelings.

One day, it was the last day of school; she came to my classroom crying her eyes out. She had a piece of paper in her hand. I came up to her and embraced her. I tried to calm her down, I have to say, I really didn’t know how. My robes were soaked by now, but I didn’t care, as lone as she was all right.

She pulled back, and handed me a piece of paper. I read through it, and pulled her into a tighter embrace.

The letter said her parents had got a divorce. She was to live with here mother, and only visit her father once a mouth during the summer and on holidays.

I tried to bring her to a sit, but before I got her there she passed out. I caught her before she fell. I picked her up and ran straight to the hospital.

When I got her to the hospital Poppy got to work on her right away. She asked what was wrong and I said that she might be in shock. Poppy asked what had happened to make her go into shock. I told her that it was not my place to tell her.

She nodded and told me to get out. I left in a hurry, as soon as the door closed behind me. I stood there for a moment, and told myself that, I Serverus Snape is in love with Hermione Granger. I walked back to my classroom with that thought on my mind.

Chapter 1-The Headmaster's Office

I didn't go straight to my classroom when I left hospital. I headed for Headmaster Dumbledore's office. As I was walking to the office all I could think about Hermione, and how she was in the hospital right now. I love her so much, but I couldn't tell her yet, until I talk to the the Headmaster.

I had not realized that I was already at the Headmaster's office. I must be thinking to much, I thought. No your thinking about Herimone, my mind said. I said the passward to the huge stone gargoyle. I stepped on the moving stairs; befor I got to the door to knock, heard Dumbledore say, "Ah, Serverus, come on in." I never figured out how he know I was there, but I enter anyway.

"Albus, I've came to talk to you about something."

"If it's about Hermione, I already know about her parents; I know that you have been helping her through this."

"How did you know this?" stunned that he know. No one was supposed to know.

"She came to me this afternoon, when she recieved that letter from her mother."

"Well, since that is out of the way, I have something eles that I want to talk about."

"What is it. Please, Serverus, have a sit." I took my sit in front of the Headmaster. I took in a deep breath an begin to tell my story.

"Albus, I think I'm in love with Hermione. These feelings started when she came to me to talk. I tried to ignore them, but they just keep on getting stronger. Every visit I would like something new about her. Her smile, eyes, smell, the way she walks, talks, and sits. I just don't know how t tell her. I don't even know if she feels the same way."

"Well, I don't know what to tell you. There is nothing in the rulebooks stateing that this relationship is forbidden, so I say why not go for it. But I must warn you, if Hermione's parents say this relationship is wrong, they have the right to pull her out of it, by any means possible. I say that this will will help her deal with the pain of the divorce, and I think you should tell her right away. Just to see how she feels about it. Also, I have owled Hermione's mother, and she says it's alright that Hermione stays here for the summer."

"Thank you, Albus for understanding how I feel. Do you thank it would be a good idea if I go sit with her?"

"You may sit with her for as long as you need to." I gave Albus one of my rare smiles and left for the hospital wing.
